Entire Ukrainian battalion surrenders in Mariupol
The below video shows the surrender in Mariupol of what’s claimed to be 264 men, reportedly what remains of the 501st Separate Marine Infantry Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Full-unit surrenders such as this have enormous propaganda value—this is certainly being plastered all over Russian TV. This alone is probably good for another two or three points on Putin’s approval rating. It means that much—it looks like World War 2, and smells like Victory—and it’s only getting started.
I haven’t seen anything like this since the 1991 Iraq War. We should be seeing A LOT more of this in the Donbass, this month.

These men will be treated better than the Donetsk or Lugansk prisoner below, who was blindfolded and had his head bashed in by (I assume) some kind of blunt object. Then his captors (or someone they know) posted the photo online, and Ukrainian ghouls have been passing it around like, “awww this is awesome.”

To be fair to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, all or almost all killing and serious physical abuse of Russian or Donetsk/Lugansk prisoners or suspected Russian collaborators or sympathizers has been at the hands of the Interior Ministry’s National Guard component (e.g., the Azov among other units), the Territorial Defense militia, the Ukraine Security Service, or the National Police. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are, in their great majority, relatively speaking, honorable warriors, same as most Russians.
Of course, both sides have killed many civilians—this is simply unavoidable with such intense fighting in urban areas.
How we know the “Bucha Butchery” narrative is a FRAUD
On Thursday, March 31st, Bucha mayor Anatolii Fedoruk posted a video message in which he said that all Russian forces had already left Bucha. He did not mention any atrocities.
In the nearly eight-minute video below (no relation to the mayor’s address), a Special Forces unit of the National Police enters and patrols Bucha shortly after the Russians are confirmed to have left. This is literally the first Ukrainian forces unit documented in Bucha after the Russian evacuation.
(This video is certainly of Bucha. The town’s name in case-conjugated form is on the large sign at around 2:16 of the video, and the Novus supermarket at around 5:12 is clearly the Bucha branch.)
The patrol becomes more relaxed the further it goes, and a number of civilians come out to speak with the policemen. One couple points out to them where Russian soldiers had been stationed. Others say things like “good, good” or “thank God” etc.
One guy talks about the Russians rudely searching his basement and giving him grief for his patriotic decorations or whatever; he says he had to explain it to them like hey I live in Ukraine, this is normal.
There is no talk of massacres, and there are no bodies visible anywhere in the town, with the exception of one blurred-out deceased person (or so I assume, it’s hard to tell) lying inside a badly damaged car. None of the civilians speak of any outrages, or where bodies may be found.
Of course, it’s “only” eight minutes long, but, they brought a cameraman (who may have taken hours of footage, then edited it down), and this is the best they could do.
(Near the start of the video, there is one body on a road leading into the town, which appears to be in some remnants of clothes, presumably blasted by some artillery or other heavy munition, in the wrong place at the wrong time.)
But, that was before the PR people decided this town was going to be The Next Big Thing. So, a few days later, on April 3rd and 4th, we got this:

It’s disgusting, a f***ing circus.

This must be the “mass grave with 300 bodies” that CNN told my wife about. No other “candidate” for that position has been shown, so this must be it. It looks like they inflated the body count 100 times.
How do we know who killed these people, how they died? Perhaps it’s an organized crime score-settling in the chaos of the war, while the local police were in hiding (perhaps as Russia was leaving) and there was no law? Maybe it’s some unclaimed bums who were dumped here for effect? I mean, it’s just three bodies. It’s not hard to find three bodies in this war. Not for a production like this, with stakes so high.
Is there a story as to how they were killed? Of course not, or not yet anyway (the PR team might be thinking of one now.)
After all the other fakes that have come out of the Ukraine (among them, that there are 300 bodies here), we’re just supposed to accept this fact vacuum and say, yeah, this is the handiwork of Putin the Butcher of Bucha, this is a war crime.
Let’s all turn off our brains, and double-mask and get tripled-boosted for the Ukraine!

The scary thing is that, no matter how absolutely threadbare and obvious this charade is, the mental levels of the Western public are so far gone that few are going to question it at all. Bullshit like this will just settle in their subconscious and shape their perceptions for years to come even after the fakes are long busted and fade away in shame. And the worst of it is that Ukie war propaganda is effectively adopted as the entire West’s war propaganda – searing into everyone’s minds the idea that Russians are worse than Hitler and ISIS combined and must be destroyed. Even if the Swamp climbs down and no direct war comes from it, they’ll enshrine Russians as an acceptable target who can’t be treated with or treated like humans more or less forever, barring some colossal screwup on the West’s inforwar machine part that shocks everyone out of it to the truth of the matter. They’re basically creating a “race” (ethnic, rather) war. I’m Russian, and me and my family are basically resolved to never set foot outside of Russia and its closest friendly countries again (we used to travel before), simply because we’d rather not risk having to get assaulted by random idiots zombified by the war drums to think attacking a Russian is a heroic blow for the forces of good. This isn’t even Cold War, this is like the (lack of) relations between USSR and Fascist Italy or even Nazi Germany during the war.
Thank you for making your publications accessible on this site. Your insight is going to be sorely needed across the English speaking sphere. Even if it’s not going to change many minds or help the situation, even some souls saved from the insane hell that the Western agitprop is turning the Western public consciousness into are worth it. We’ll need as many sane and unzombified people as we can get to rebuild the world (whether a hot war happens or not, it’s going to be ruinous) after this is all done, and I’d rather be able to recreate relations with sane Westerners than Ukronazi-brainwashed shamblers.

Basically the entire corona-psychosis has been redirected against Russia, but there will be a target after Russia, we just don’t know what yet, but it will happen. The only constant is change!

Exactly. Hard to see that this is anything other than another false flag. At the very least, the reality is nothing like the story that western legacy media have swallowed.
Without doing any detailed analysis, if the Russians had done this then surely they would not just have left bodies lying in the street. Any private soldier would understand that these would be discovered.
My biggest fear is that western politicians and media are so deep into the systematic telling of such lies that they may even be believing their own narrative. It is a kind of false reality that may lead them to think that they can somehow defeat or regime change Russia; allowing them to avoid practical steps that can create peace and stop this tragic conflict in a way that might work for all parties.
In that regard, I am thoroughly ashamed of my own UK government for its behaviour. They disgust me. We really have become a satellite of the US Neo Cons. The US dependent logic of UK foreign policy since Suez has really come home to roost. As for non entities such as Truss attempting to bully India then I am even more nonplussed. What on earth are they thinking. Do they not reflect on how imperialist this looks.
Thanks for your comments. Yes, the UK has had no foreign policy autonomy since 1956, as you indicate. Of course, to a larger extent this is due to the UK’s reliance on the US to keep continental powers such as Germany and Russia from becoming too powerful, as was also the case during the two world wars. So, the USA uses the UK, and the UK uses the USA.
That’s a fair interpretation of what Britain gains from the US alliance in foreign policy terms.
Britain seeking to maintain a balance of power on the continent is, of course, a very traditional policy going back back to the Napoleonic Wars and even further to the various conflicts of the eighteenth century. The idea was to enable European trade while protecting the rear so as to enable power projection globally.
Consistently, I think the US alliance and the institutions of the rules based order also now give the British policy elites the perception that they are still part of projecting power on the world stage. In a sense, Britain has not given up those traditional twin policies of global empire and ensuring a fragmented continent.
Whether any of this truly benefits the British people, or remains sensible, is a totally different question!

Not surprised to find that you hold 2 MS degrees but assume that they’re not in gender studies or basket weavers around the world. I speculate that Nuland may have had a hand in Bucha given her penchant for sacrificing civilians in her psychopathic quest for revenge against Russia as shown in the “heavenly hundred” in the Euromaidan. This may account for the delay in accomplishing the requisite murder of civilians then discovery of the bodies. Just a thought.
Is there any news about what’s going on in Mariupol with all of the Helicopters being sent on suicide missions to rescue some special “VIPs”, they tried 8 times now and 5 Helicopters have been shot down. Rumor is that a bunch of NATO officers (specifically French and UK, possibly a US Lt General too) have been trapped in the city.
Hello, for now, the speculation is just speculation. At a minimum, they wanted to evacuate at least the leadership of the Azov and the army command in the city. I would be surprised if there were no foreign advisors in the city, however, from what country, and are they still there, we don’t know.

Also wanted to chime in on what may seem a rather peculiar point of view. That is, I highly value your UNcensored images. I’m not at all squeamish, and grow weary of some sites’ compulsion to excessively blur their graphics. I recently reviewed one article about the execution of a surrendered Russian soldier where the graphics showed nothing recognizable other than a small stream of blood — the entire human being had been airbrushed out. It’s pretty difficult to get emotional about an atrocity whose victim is merely a “gray blob”.
So, keep ’em coming — with the warnings, of course, for those who’d prefer not to know.
