U.S. new aid to Ukraine rises to almost $40 billion
As I write this, the U.S. Congress is “rushing” to authorize a total of $39.8 billion for the Ukraine, which is something like 10 times what the former Republican majority coughed up over two years—after two years of him begging and getting nothing—for Trump’s border wall.
As I wrote before (when it was closer to $30 billion), this figure will continue to rise. I’m guessing it will reach into the $70-80 billion range by mid-late summer, by which time, there won’t be much left of the Ukraine.
Most of that money will probably go towards compensating the U.S. Department of Defense for arms it donated to the Ukraine. In short, a bonanza of “replacement orders” for the military industries.
Victory Day in the former Ukraine
I’ve heard back from some “VIP” readers on my original mailing list, and I think that’s just the tip of the iceberg of who’s reading me in “high circles.”
If you are a Congressional staffer, or someone responsible for writing or clearing the Talking Points, be sure to check this out, because you might learn something—Of course, I get it, just for your own benefit. You can’t depart the Narrative at your job.

A few words as background:
Under the Ukraine, the orange-and-black “George’s ribbon” color scheme (see the banner in the video) was banned. Victory Day (May 9th) was officially cancelled, and parades or demonstrations were not permitted by local authorities.
People who came out to celebrate in small gatherings in parks, were harassed, even pushed around or beaten by fascist hooligans—and “surveilled” and “dossier’ed” and sometimes even arrested by the Ukraine Security Service.
Anyone with a government job who was “caught” at one of these outings, would have been fired.
The “Maidan regime” aimed to reinvent the Ukraine, to write Russia out of its history completely, so much that the Ukraine’s role in WWII was more-or-less erased, save for glorification of Banderite guerillas—the Volhynia genocide folks—in the far northwest.
It was supposed to be a revolutionary New Society, built from zero, with almost no real connection to its censored past (other than semi-mythological narratives about Bandera and other heroes who fought Russia, Poland, etc.)
Sound familiar, Americans?
Revolutionary regimes always do this.
Fortunately, the USA has a strong Federal structure, and the Red States told American Brezhnev (Brandon), the LockDown’s Syndrome freaks, and the Progressive Culture Warriors to go to hell.
The Ukraine had no such backstop.
All it had was billions of dollars in IMF economic aid and U.S. & Co. military aid.
And now, we see the outcome.

Did you think it would be any different?
The videos show a relatively unharmed part of Mariupol, although the center building at 0:17 to 0:24 (first video) appears to be missing much of its roof, and there are several windows on its top floor with smoke residue and missing panes.
At this time, Mariupol hosts likely only about one-third of its pre-February 24th population, and many of those remaining are just focused on survival. So, to get any crowd for a parade, let alone one of this size, is “not too shabby.”
As I’ve said several times, media windbags—including “controlled-opposition” conservatives such as Greg Kelly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, etc.—who shed crocodile tears for poor Mariupol civilians (we have to do something, we have to do something!!!), won’t give a frack about those same people, now that those people are “officially Russian” again.
It was all just dumb bloviation to fill airtime.
I’ve got news for them—MOST OF EASTERN AND SOUTHERN UKRAINE WILL BE MARCHING LIKE THIS, NEXT VICTORY DAY.
Here’s another video, of one of those May 9th “park outings” in Kupiansk, Kharkov province. I think a lot more people would have turned out, but Kupiansk is close enough to the front line, and people are SCARED of what happens if the Ukraine comes back.
(When Russia went in, and the Ukraine was pulling out, reportedly, the mayor was arrested and taken away and charged with treason by the Ukrainians.)
The lady with the boy, and the lady after that, are brought to tears while telling of how grateful they are to Russia, and to be able to celebrate this day (which for most secular Russians is the second most important holiday after New Year’s Eve—sort of a cross between Cinco de Mayo and Día de Los Muertos, to use a Mexican analogy.)

If the Ukraine comes back, EVERYONE in this May 9th crowd will—at a minimum—be called to an interrogation, and will be blacklisted for life (i.e., no government job, business license likely revoked, periodic official “checkups”, etc.)
The organizers of this event (whoever set up the sound system, and coordinated with Russian forces for security) would likely be charged with TREASON.

Switchblades have failed
As of this writing, there is STILL NOT ONE video of a Switchblade mini-drone being used successfully by the Ukraine against any Russian, Donetsk, or Lugansk target, even though, many hundreds of these things were supposed to have arrived in the Ukraine from the USA, starting A MONTH AGO.
They were supposed to be very easy to use.
It’s been almost a month, what gives?
Latest news is, Uncle Sam will send “high-precision, laser-guided rockets” to the Ukraine. These rockets are meant to be mounted on helicopters.

Only problem is, Ukraine just lost the last of its helicopters, on the ground in (or off the coast of) Odessa, since this past Saturday.

2022 first-quarter GDP came in at minus 1.4 percent (annualized.)
For an economy that was supposed to be still “recovering” from the corona-madness, that is horrendous. Historically, you almost never see declines this bad for just one quarter—it gets worse before it gets better.
(For my non-American, non-Western readers, minus 1.4 percent annualized is quite bad, as the U.S. economy is now over 40 percent government—at all levels—spending, and that spending is fixed, so in fact, the private contraction is quite a bit higher than 1.4. Not to mention, there is so much bullsh*t baked into U.S. economic statistics, that even the epochal crash of 2008-2009 was only minus three or four percent, on paper.)
I’m not sure why more people are not talking about this.
Just kidding. It’s obvious. The “news” is one big distraction. Look at the “cover” (top screen) of the Washington Post online edition, as of 1:20am, Friday, May 5th. It’s all Ukraine, all the time!

Interest rates are a disaster. Yes, if “the Fed” doesn’t raise rates—and tone down its monthly monetization of the U.S. debt, which would preclude any major new deficit spending—we will have an inflationary breakdown. But the alternative is almost as bad.

As of this writing, the average 30-year, “main home, owner occupant, 740-plus credit score, 10 percent down payment” mortgage rate in the USA is 5.62 percent, up from 3.25 percent since December.
This equates to about an extra $560-plus monthly on a $400,000 loan. For lower credit scores, of course, even more.
This may not seem like a helluva lot for a “white collar” working couple with no other big commitments (e.g., small family or no family), but with the cost of everything else going up hugely, and with home prices already at nosebleed levels, it could make the difference between “we’re interested” and “it’s better to rent.”
And, rates are likely to keep rising.
Anecdotally, houses in my area—the DC suburbs of northern Virginia, always one of the “strongest” markets in the country—that used to go “under contract” as soon as they hit the market (if they even hit the market), are now taking weeks to clear (i.e. back to normal)… even as prices continue to rise sharply.
It’s like Wile-E-Coyote going over the cliff.
It is obvious the whole thing is starting to turn over.
As in 2006-2007, no one in the MSM is talking about this.
Of course, as in 2006-2007, the “turn over” might last a year, depending on the area.
My non-American readers may not be aware of the role that housing plays in the U.S. economy. We don’t have much manufacturing here anymore. In most U.S. cities and suburbs, home building and the “home improvement” industry is one-third or more of the private sector economy.
Another BIG problem: This time, unlike in 2008, the price of fuel and food will not come down with the economy, as this time, unlike in 2008, the driver of the price hikes is not speculation (i.e. “hot” money moving out of mortgage bonds and into commodities.)
This time, the cause is real shortages.
What that means is, even with a recession, prices of what you need to live, will still go up.
This is commonly referred to as “stagflation”, although the “stag” stands for stagnation, not recession.
Yet, I’m not talking about stagnation. No one alive in the USA today, remembers an economic crash simultaneous to—and coterminous with—shortages and spiking food and fuel prices.
(The oil price shock that caused or hastened the 1973-1975 recession, came only at the start of that recession.)
It should be interesting!

I don’t want to comment on this day-by day information. What I want is for Dreisen to see if he can deal with a foundational discussion on Ukraine. Namely: just how good is the Russian FSB, and why did Russia do nothing to stop the Maidan coup in the first place?? Explain that. Second: Putin only recognized the two republics just before invading Ukraine. He sat on his ass and did nothing to stop the killing for 8 years. Why? Also: In 2014-15
Russia stepped in and handed the Ukraine military a humiliating defeat when they attacked the Donbass… He could have defeated them COMPLETELY and taken over Ukraine back then in an almost bloodless coup but he didn’t. For 8 years; the shame of that defeat made Ukraine ,militarize itself into what it is now; the largest army in Europe. I totally disagree with you regarding the 2014 coup and subsequent war in 14 and 15. Ukraine was an American project to dismantle Russia. At that time Russia (Putin) was not ready financially or militarily, so he tried to work with Germans and French to make deals. At the same time he solidified his relations with Chinese and Indians as well as global south. I personally think Putin played a very good strategic game by kicking the can down the road in the mean time he used the time to develop Hypersonic weapons as well as commercial relations with the global south. Do you really think that Obama would not have imposed the crippling sanctions in 2014 to bring Russia to its knees? Putin developed his relations with Saudi’s UAE and Iran so as to keep his oil/gas income in tact. Imagine the strong arming of US on the Saudi’s and UAE to bring down the price of oil as they did in 1980’s. Just remember what they did to Saddam and Qaddafy and if they could they would do it to Russia’s Putin. Fortunately Putin is a great geo-strategist and he knows his game. Thanks

Russia didn’t start the war. Victoria Newland and then US Senator John McCain started this war in 2014 when they orchestrated the color revolution that caused the fall of the existing neutral Ukrainian government. Russia stepped into the war this year to stop Ukrainian advances into Crimea and the Donbass. The US has used Ukraine as a slush fund for our political elite since 2014 by laundering US aid money into their own non-profits. As well as using Ukraine as a platform to attempt a color revolution in Russia. Putin may not be a good guy but he is no worse than our own corrupt politicians who conveniently have their opponents disappear…..yes I’m talking about you Hilary Clinton.

Hello, Paul. Your analogy with sports team allegiances wrt to voting patterns seems spot on. People vote on emotion or based or habit. I can’t see why anyone would vote for Republicans–they don’t even pretend to have the interests of average people in mind. At least the Democrats pretend.
I don’t recall Hillary saying Wikileaks causing her electoral defeat. They certainly didn’t help. Yes, Wikileaks and Russia interfered in our 2016 (and 2020!) election. But the U.S. interferes in other counties’ elections and governmental decisions all the time. A bigger factor in Hillary’s defeat was almost certainly the machinations of James Comey. I suppose we should be grateful. I think Hillary would have been a far worse president then even Biden. I say these things as a liberal. But I have recently left the Democratic Party, but not for the GOP. We have abysmally poor government (and MSM) in the U.S. and I don’t really know where to turn.

I agree with murali43 and RJM. It was not Russia’s place to interfere in Ukraine in 2014 after the Maidan “went wrong.” Ukraine has long been an independent state. Russia was an observer in the Minsk Accords between Ukraine and the self-declared DPR and LPR and repeatedly called for these agreements to be enforced, but Ukraine repeatedly violated them. The fighting continued in the Donbass to one degree or another and the DPR and LPR were supported by Russia, but not to the point where Russia officially sent in its army. It took the failure of all the attempts to come to a peaceful agreement and the escalation of the conflict by the Ukrainian army (it began moving its forces to the south with the intention of taking back the Crimea, as I understand) to bring “push to shove.” The breaking point came and Putin was left with no other alternative in order to avoid even greater bloodshed in the future. The collective West had no intentions of backing off. All of Russia’s attempts to resolve things peacefully were ignored. What we are seeing now was a well-planned and strategic move.
I believe—have read—that Putin’s approach has always been to adhere scrupulously to international law.
Russia had intel that Ukraine was about to launch a major campaign on the Donbass.
This more or less triggered a “right o protect” action on the part of Russia.
Russia used the same argument that the USA minted for itself.
In any case, Russia was not strong enough in 2014 to take any action.
It did not have the requisite international backing and standing.
Even the entirely legal Crimea referendum has been used to hammer Russia in the international information space..
So, it looks to me as though Russia’s timing was pretty good.

In 2015 Obama is on the record stating that to send arms to Ukraine would only prolong any conflict and that ultimately this would lead to many more Ukrainian casualties as the Russian military was far superior. He also stated that Ukraine was not vital to US interests. Presuming that Obama had the very best intel available, what changed?

indrekpringi makes valid criticism, in my opinion. Had Putin acted forcefully in 2014 the military picture might have been different. However that’s hindsight, and also overlooks the fact that had the West responded with the same sanctions its imposed this time, then Russia’s economy would’ve collapsed and the regime change the West wanted might have happened.
Fair to say that Russia’s FSB failed to see the Maidan coup coming and failed to keep the elected president Yanukovich in power. But Russia’s response once it happened was probably about as far as they could go at the time.
In 2014 would China and India have supported Russia the way they are right now? would the Russian people have supported Putin the way they are now? Was Russia”s economy and military strong enough to withstand US/NATO assistance in Ukraine? Pretty sure all those calculations were made by the kremlin before this major step
Disagree. You need to listen to Jurinosky. He said several years ago, that West will attack Russia not directly but through Ukraine and Caucuses. Ukraine will be main problem, but Russia needs a reason to invade and keep own people on its side. Shelling of Donbass for 8 years, crucifying and burning Russian soldiers on crosse ms (yes, plenty of videos on telegram), slowly made Russian people mad and ready to fight.
Celebrations in east Ukraine are not a surprise, but will Putin stop or continue to the west Ukraine? I think he will take over east and destroys west Ukraine since he will not have it. Putin made an order prohibiting export of fertilizer and other materials until August or December. Farmers in US say that lots of fertilizer is stuck in the ports and not being unloaded on purpose. Several food processing plans are closing. Food inflation and shortages are coming . Russia will not have luxury products, McDonald’s and vacations in Nice, but its people will be warm and fed.

I believe I can answer some of your questions. Regarding the mistake of not taking southeastern Ukraine back in 2014, Putin said as much when he publicly recognized the Donbass in late February, just before hostilities broke out. Putin’s last words, added extemporaneously and almost under his breath, were : “I should have done this years ago.” Hope that helps with Putin acknowledging one of his own mistakes. Then again, hindsight has 20/20 vision, right?

Have you seen the interview between economist Michael Hudson and journalists, Aaron Mate and Katie Halper? If not PLEASE do. Mr. Hudson talks about how these food shortages are part of the whole World Economic Forum/Klaus Schwab plan. That the WEF people believe that there are too many people on the planet and that the population needs downsizing by about 20%. That the way to do it is through food shortages, famine and starvation. My worry is that Putin and Xi Jinping may be part of it as well. If I remember correctly, Schwab bragged about Putin being one of WEF’s “young leaders” and that Putin and Xi have both spoken at WEF . Also, if things get pretty bad in the states, we could see the government bring the hammer down on all of us. Your thoughts?
My impression, particularity from the speech Putin gave in Jan 2021 for the Davos crowd, is if he is on their side he is also saying the quiet part out loud. Very interestiing point you make about people not turning out for the May 9 celerations because they are afraid that the Russians may leave and they could be in big trouble. My own view is that the Bucha massacre (as it really was) and other atrocities by the Ukrainians has changed the nature of the war. Putin and Russia can no longer occupy an area and leave. It was heart-warming to see the videos of the people in Mariupol celebrating May 9, even though they had to be escorted by the DPR police. All I have heard for the past 8 years is how people daring to wear the St. George Ribbon (георгиевская ленточка) in Ukraine were terrorized. Hopefully from now on they will be able to celebrate as usual without fearing for their lives.
I recall, back in Soviet days, the Red Square parades being sombre, grim affairs. The rank and file were expressionless. Today the lads and lasses in uniform were openly smiling, and beaming with pride, fully invested in the occasion. Also noticable? It was all about the people, not the hardware. In the Soviet past it was nukes and other heavy ordnance lumbering past the dias in an endless stream.
I sense a tiny bit of frustration with Trump. But put yourself in his shoes. (Assuming he wants a 2nd chance at draining the D.C. swamp) You need to inspire a massive groundswell of support among a population of median-IQ voters. Jacob….I think that the US Constitution is still salvageable along with most of our current form of government. The real issues are intransigent members of congress who value party above the health of the nation and an entrenched hostile bureaucracy. We need to modify the present US Constitution to allow a mechanism to restructure or eliminate rogue bureaucratic institutions and a means to eliminate individual fifth column actors who attempt to appropriate political power. In addition to that we need to address the issue of emoluments as it relates to Congress. Most of the issues we have with our Congress arise from their desire to harvest money from unethical and illegal means. We need meaningful term limits….once you sever in one branch of government you are proscribed from serving in any other state or national office with the possible exception of the military. To address the money issue no member of congress or any family member can hold stock or own a company during their term of office. No member of congress or their family may set up a non-profit. Members of congress or any other office holder may not except campaign donations from foreign nationals, corporations or governments. Lastly an office holder may only accept donations from residents of the geographical location they represent. I would further limit eligibility of the donor to someone who has been a resident for at least 5 years.
“An alternative” is for the citizens of the USA to come up with.

Gordon Hahn’s write-up “The New Russian Ideology” is interesting, and I think a helpful interpretation of some of the things Putin said on Victory Day. It is “New”, but also, a revival and intertwining of the “Old”. Russia had begun codifying in the government a value for family, tradition, church, democracy of nations and languages, etc, The Donbas republics probably hold the same values as Russia. It seems Victory Day brought joy to these people as they remembered, and in a sense, relived what their ancestors had to endure.
Putin’s speech was full of references to this new ideology. For example, Putin referenced the “Times of Troubles” in Russia when the Polish occupied Moscow ca. 1612, and according to Hahn’s explanation on those “Times”, Russia was undergoing internal divisions and foreign meddling. The Russian people put differences aside to unite and rise up and rid the Poles, which when the “Times” are referenced is endearingly interpreted by Russian’s today as a call to unity. November 4th is the official holiday in Russia commemorating the specific “Times”; it is called National Unity Day. it is not just historical, but spiritual according to the Russians.

I read the whole article, but I did not read anything about any mercenaries actually being evacuated, only that this was the intention, hence the large number of buses provided. I have heard some stories here in Russia of combatants trying to escape by masquerading as civilians, but their ruse was intercepted when they were asked to undress (I guess they aroused some suspicion) and their “symbolic” tattoos were revealed. It will be interesting to see how all of this ends. There is no way Russia is going to let the foreign mercenaries encamped in the steel plant be evacuated by the West. They need to be taken prisoner and interrogated.

The problem is that there are too many special interest groups that wanted to keep the ship heading the same direction. Hello, can you talk a bit about any effect Elon Musk’s Starlink may be having on the war, particularly how it may be helping Ukraine after most of its radar was destroyed early in the conflict? Many commentators point to it as a decisive edge for Ukraine.
This is a war fought with mainly cannons. The way the Russians fight this war, the additional information supplied by either CIA or Starlink will not matter one bit. You know where the Russian troops are, you know where they are going to do next. Knowing this stuff is not the issue. The problem is that the Russians have 100 cannons and you got one. In addition, the Russians have rocket artillery, the air and missiles. As soon as you fire one shot with your cannon, it will be knocked out of commission. Now the Russians have 99 cannons and you have none. Ukraine also are losing most of their experienced soldiers that know their way around a cannon, so if a newbie fires this cannon, it will most likely hit nothing. Now the Russians still have their 100 cannons and the Ukraine side has 0.

I wish I could have understood what they were saying—all I could get was “thank you” and “yes,” but even without translation, the message of their joy and relief and gratitude and strength after enduring what they have, came through loud and clear and moved me to tears also. I will go back to watch them when I feel discouraged.
I think I find your site very valuable. I say “I think” because anyone with a 3 digit IQ knows that the relationship between Russian and Ukraine is stuffed with history – no all of it good. I’ve studied, written and taught military history for my career. So I view you efforts with favor, but admit that I find “Russia has Won” to be “maybe yes” and “maybe no”.
Let’s look at the operational situation in eastern Ukraine as it exists today. It’s possible to argue that Russia’s slow advance in Dobass will result in a military victory. It is also possible to argue that analysts like Mark Hill at UK War Studies – who has predicted a relatively rapid collapse of morale and cohesion of the Russian military within a two month period, and hence argues maximum aid to Ukraine are looking at something real. Did the Russians really use Kiev as a kind of chess piece, and are they doing the same now with Kharkov? In Kyiv they’d say there was a clear military victory in March and is appearing again now in Kharkov.
There are a number of military factors that during a war available to only the “top brass” (and they’re usually arguing) that everyone else has to analyze/guess. Here’s a list of questions I’d like answered when reading about the course of this war:
1. Are there firm war aims in May 2022 in Washington, London, Kyiv and Moscow? There have been buckets of ink spilled on this by wisepeople, but I’m not sure anyone really knows. If those goals vary, any analysis must reflect the reality.
2. The military balance: How many trained men fight for Russia + allies vs Ukraine (and it’s allies)? A new class of young men comes into place every few months – are men really joining the Russian Army in well above normal rates? How well can Russian industry produce war time levels of munitions, artillery pieces, and infantry operated anti-tank/aircraft weapon systems? Can Ukraine’s ability to call upon Western intelligence, weapons, money (and maybe some men)
give them the edge required to an attack Donbass and Crimea? Does Ukraine think so?
3. Does the kind of “trench war” that’s developed in Donbass since 2014 mandate a kind of situation similar to Normandy June-end July 1944? In that period the allies took bad losses but advanced enough to allow some kind of flexibility. The result was Cobra and the great breakout that led the West through Paris in weeks. So if the Russians have superior fire – as we have been assured – will there come a time when the Ukrainian forces are so weakened that a “break-out” takes place. A different picture would have the western allies lacking enough forces to break through German lines and creating a kind of pointless Salonika (1914)?
4. I certainly don’t expect answers. If you look at the information given the public during WWII and compare it to early “source criticism” the real world – as it developed – was not available for analysis. It still isn’t.
5. So – do proceed. I’m glad I receive your list. But I’m not sure anything like the political/military/economic that develops will produce anything truth.

Re Mariupol “Victory” parade… I have sourced OTHER images and reports that lift the cover off the “propaganda” you are propagating… and they tell a totally different story about this “voluntary” parade participation and showing ruins of the city and starving citizens, carefully edited out of your videos.
One other source (of many) states… “No excitement or joy on the street along the procession was particularly noticeable. People are lured to the square because of the promises of a field kitchen and additional supplies of food.”

Being from Eastern Europe, I can say that seeing you taking Radio Free Europe seriously makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.
Almost everything is propaganda. It is also very effective. You will be deceived if you do not actively resist it.
Most people spreading information are either caught up in their biases, capturing revenue and/or power. The “truth” is nearly impossible to discern at a distance when it comes to an important news story outside of sports.
Jacob is trying to discern the truth from distance. This is a very difficult task. He is likely wrong about some things and right about others. It is impossible to know at this point.
I look for local reports from people who are with independent media to get an idea of what is going on. I also have an idea of what is probably the goal of the US military because of discussions with officers involved with the CIA and DIA in the past. Knowing that the west has used false flags repeatedly should cast suspicion on their claims.
I have been close to a few events that made the press in the USA. The outlets that were the most accurate in both cases were small local papers. The larger outlets were following their political leanings. One was a political event 14 years ago and the other was an environmental problem where I knew the data 35 years ago.
I have had some VERY enlightening discussions over the years with people in power who know things because they were clients of mine. I also have had some level of power myself in the corporate world. The widely accepted views on many important issues are frequently false when money and/or power benefit from deception. Publicly perceived good guys can be baddies and vice versa.

I try to be non biased but it is difficult with how ridiculous some of the western propaganda is. Anytime I report some bad news (NOT BIASED NEWS JUST BAD NEWS) for Ukraine i get a load of hate and dislikes on my videos. All is well though, it seems like the subscriber crowd seems to have a good head on their shoulders. Well put. All truth seekers struggle with this. It’s the reason I avoid many and issues – it takes too much time and effort to sort out some semblance of truth. I often wish that I could tune out entirely like so many do. If one’s world is professional sports, the latest Netflix series, meal time and the weather, it must lead to a relatively peaceful state of mind, no? Alas, those who are wired to try and discern the truth suffer the torment of trying to do so.
Mainstream Western sources of information are essentially ambient messages that are constant in my world – at the airport, in my inbox at work, at the gym, restaurants, waiting rooms, office elevators etc.. To counterbalance that I graze a lot of foreign media (The Times of India, China Daily, Russia Today, Al Jazeera, Jerusalem Post), independent media and Telegram channels. I know there is bullshit in all of them and, at the same time, I know I have to stay on guard and fight my personal biases so as to not confuse the pursuit of the truth with the pursuit of information that simply confirms what I want to be true. Somewhere in the milieu is the truth.
I don’t have a dog in the Ukraine-Russia fight but the messages that I’m spoon fed by my ambient news sources are clearly full of distortions, omissions, half-truths and, in some cases, blatant lies. The entire mess could have been avoided if there had been a more sober and strategic leadership in the West and within Ukraine itself. And it’s the average decent Ukrainian people (like their Afghan, Iraqi and South Vietnamese counterparts) that are paying the price. Eventually they’ll clue in that, notwithstanding all the good citizens in the USA, it is truly a nation that is “harmless as an enemy but treacherous as a friend”.

I’ve just checked the map. Kupiansk subregion is on the eastmost part of Kharkiv region. Ukrops advance eastwards have stopped at the river, and I don’t think they have the capability of crossing it with Russians firing from the other side.

Hi! I have question. The handling of Pseudo-pandemic COVID under WHO serves destruction of economy and depopulation of the world. It is obvious in USA. The war serves the same goal. The longer the war continues, the better for the corrupt elites. But what about Russia? They have some deadly mandatory vaccination too.
Do you think Putin shares this goal?

Once Ukraine army cracks in Donbas, it is game over…they have no mean of defense anywhere else such as miles long entrenchments.
Ukraine is advancing on North of Kharkov, toward Russian border. For them, it is just a beginning.
Ukraine may attack Russian occupied territories indefinitely, they may attack Russia proper and so on. There is no end in sight. As long as America is in this war, and as long as Zelensky is in Kiev, the war will continue.
If Ukraine’s military didn’t use civilians as human shields— the war would be over.
‘MAGA has failed because of a couple of nuts so associated”. Not sure what Mr. D means though a more nuanced approach would have been to recognize that MAGA was the typical attempt to get the inadequate pumps working again on the sinking ship.
