To longtime readers from my original 2021 GOP mailing list… all the officials, activists, pundits, etc. I really appreciate you sticking around, and I know most (sadly, not quite all) of you aren’t high up enough to be “responsible”, but with recent polls and the NY-19 special election results, how are those “Bidenflation” talking points working out?
Perhaps a deeper, formalized, affirmative agenda would have been preferable?
It’s not as if any chump named “Dreizin” suggested that over a year ago, did he?
It’s not as if in January, any chump named “Dreizin” said, roughly, “Don’t get on board the hate-Russia train, because you’ll be making yourselves equally to blame for gasoline, electricity, etc. prices, because voters are dumb but not THAT dumb”, did he?
Now you’ve got two months left, and there’s no time to play Gingrich 1994. The GOP has blown it. As a national brand, the GOP stands for NOTHING, has NO PLAN, NO CLUE, and swing voters KNOW it.
They KNOW the GOP is as much to blame for everything as the Democrats, and—in its current state, if at all—can’t fix anything.
I’m not saying there won’t be a modest shift in Congress (assuming Variant X waits until after the election, and we have a “real” not “virtual” election), which could easily be walked back in two years (assuming we have an election then, too… a lot of assumptions)…..
But where’s that Red Wave? I don’t see it. Nope, no big “mandate” coming. Good luck investigating Hunter etc. (after 1/10 or more of Congress has died in their homes of Variant X, and been eaten by their hungry Dobermanns) with a slim majority, with the Dems and their media feeling undefeated… no one’s gonna give a damn about your committee hearings. The Democrat witnesses you call, would be fools even to show up.
This is what happens when there’s no leadership, no vision, no understanding, only GAWWWD DAYYYUUUM SUBHUMANOIDS at the helm in Congress and the RNC.

Some readers complained I’m not qualified to blog about Russia if I didn’t know who this guy Dugin was, until his daughter got blown up in the Moscow suburbs by a freaky voodoo-looking Ukrainian spy-wench, who it turns out had moved in (with a 12 year-old daughter as additional “cover”, Jay-susss!!!!) next door and was shadowing her for two months.
(It’s not clear if the target was Dugin or his daughter, but clearly, the easiest possible civilian target was chosen. I assume Igor Girkin a.k.a. Strelkov—for example—was just too cautious. That this went down the way it did, and that the culprit fled the country and was identified within 24 hours, is actually a sign of the weakness, not strength, of the Ukrainian secret service presence inside Russia.)

If I tell you that almost no one in Russia ever heard of this guy, then almost no one in Russia ever heard of this guy. (“In Russia” does not mean “Glenn Beck.”) Go back to the Duran or Saker or wherever you came from. (PS: Of interest, Ivan Sushko, the local civilian head of the Russian-backed civil-military administration in Mikhailovka, Zaporozhie region, the Ukraine (this area soon to be officially part of Russia) was blown up by a small bomb placed under his car seat yesterday, while attempting to drive his adopted daughter to daycare. I’d guess less than 1 million Russians knew of Dugin and what he was about, prior to last weekend. His Telegram channel had only about 50K followers. He was insignificant. Evidently, better known outside of Russia. Even the harshest Russian nationalists see “Eurasianism” as a bad joke, nowadays. Only marginal idiots in the West take this guy seriously.

There is loads of talk about Dugin being Putin’s mentor. Dugin is quite famous for it – In the West. NYS’s original redistricting ploy halved the number of Repub areas and was thrown out by a judge, thus the SE yesterday.
Hachul’s Lt. Gov nominee, Delgado, is a black guy pushed by Progs into the NY-19 seat 4 years ago.
Yesterday’s SE election was for the remainder of Delgado’s term through 12/31.
Molinaro has already won the Repub primary for the GE and will face a DIFFERENT D, Reilly, in November.
Ryan won the NY-18 Primary plus the NY-19 SE but will not face Molinaro in Nov.
Molinaro is the County Exec in Dutchess County which has become increasingly D becasue of NYC migration.
He has a great shot of taking the redrawn seat but ran a terrible campaign for the SE. I tried 3 times to get lawn signs and his staff never contacted me.

I think he pulled off a victory for the SE because of her gazillions and the total confusion about voting in an SE for a district that won’t exist in its current form 4 months from now.

Look at Mitch McConnell. He basically said last week that the MAGA Senate candidates running against incumbent Democrats were weak, and that he would be OK with the Dems winning those seats.

I guess I should watch the video. But in Trumpistan (an online country I sometimes visit, as I’m sure many others here do) they hate the GOP, and the vitriol is getting worse. In terms of this attack on Ms Dugin, someone mentioned the correct analysis for it: all terror attacks lead to more state power. Whoever actually did it, or their motivations are really quite secondary to the results. So long as Russia has plausible deniability, it can never be pinned on them if they did it themselves. And they have that.

Seems to me like the assassination of Daria Dugina was a public relations operation for a foreign western audience, especially since Dugin is better known in the west. It will only make Russians more determined, not fearful, which Ukraine must know. Ivan Sushkos death doesn’t serve any really useful war purpose, that I can see. They seem like acts of desperation and a**holishness. The reaction to these acts in the west is interesting.
Same problem in Canada – our political parties are very difficult to differentiate after a while. I don’t see anything changing without a majour disaster happening first. If Variant X does show up a lot of them will be gone, or the chaos and anger will compel them to disappear for their own good.
Until then my priority is to keep me and mine from being collateral damage in every way possible.

Poor messaging & incompetent strategy is by design: GOPe (Establishment) doesn’t actually want to “win” anything or hold actual power & hates its own voters…. refusing to accept this truth understandably leaves one eternally confounded.
This is all moot, however, as none of the voting irregularities have been addressed (and in some cases/places, ‘irregularities’ now *codified in-place* or otherwise made stronger…and this is to say nothing of the coming Federal Election take-over underway behind the scenes).
PREDICTION 2024: GOPe will run Pence & he will magically WIN all primaries (regardless of who are his opponents) “they” will make use of the ‘irregularities’ to guarantee the outcome. Pence is ‘their guy’ …his very public fealty to the FBI was his signal — everything will be done to ensure he wins.
GOP lost when 4 republican controlled states changed their voting rules at the last minute. Anyone stupid enough to still be voting republican or even wasting their time with that nonsense gets exactly what they deserve. GOP also lost when the new border wall went up in CA first with not a peep from democrats. It’s about the needs of the people at the top, and not the needs of the people. Population going down, Supreme Court can help you, and we can play musical chairs with the clowns in Texas. Get what you can before the closing act.
In itself, a “red wave” would be useless if it just put more useless Establishment Republicans into office. We are working to *replace* the establishment sell-outs with MAGA, or “America First” independent thinkers who are political outsiders.
Plus, there are some truly earth-shattering events between now and midterm elections. I would say that these events are going to change the course of history, but actually these “suddenly” events are merely the visible evidence of deep changes that have already been underway.
It only takes 3% of the people in a given society to change the entire culture. Western culture was ripe for change by the time Donald J Trump ran for president in 2016, and the 3% were already out there flapping our butterfly wings. At this point, those 3% have grown into 15% who are beyond passionate, who believe that radical change can and must occur SOON, and will *not* be silenced — plus another 50% who are *angry* and largely pessimistic (either quietly or outwardly) and all they need are the right sparks to get them on fire. the last roughly one-third of Americans are committed ostriches (or lemmings?), but I have hope for even some of them, lol.
The harvest is coming. It isn’t Red or Blue. It’s about Good and Evil. Western politicians’ puppet masters *own* them — and they are backed into a corner. It may not appear so, but they are. And they are going to continue to tell their hapless politician slaves to do things that are even MORE irrational and destructive, than what they have already done, because they are angry and would rather burn down the whole world than lose the Control systems that they and their families have worked on for centuries. And when those politicians go down in flames, the puppet masters could not care less — that’s the kind of people they are.
All of the nations will be confronted with the Reality that Western political and financial institutions and NGO’s have been largely captured by people who aren’t merely incompetent — they are treacherous and sociopathic well=paid slaves to a bunch of psychopaths to whom they sold their souls.

I have to agree with some of the commentators here Dreizin that it’s not a question of voting Red or Blue per se. I’m sure McConnell would be quite content to do his thing in a Senate that’s ostensibly controlled by the Democrats. In fact given his ability to pull levers behind the scenes I think this actually the game he prefers.
I’m sure he probably has a fine relationship with Schumer and is quite disinterested in changing anything.
The real wildcard here is the base. If they can put populist candidates in play like JD Vance things may actually change we might be able to stop the war but until then its business as usual. Which means that this civilization as we know it will collapse.
