Welcome back from August. My readership (and viewership on Rumble) were down by half or more in late August. Hopefully, people will now come out of their summer hibernation. Below, I have A LOT to say about the Ukraine. First, some other topics. You might have missed my last two videos. I think this one is even more relevant, now that Sarah Palin (who never actually said she can see Russia from her house) lost to a Democrat in the special election for Alaska’s one seat in the U.S. House of Representatives:

I mentioned this defeat to my webmaster / video editor, who is the other (lesser known but just as important) half of the Dreizin Report. His first reaction was, basically, “fraud.” He’s from Georgia (near Atlanta), which is a cesspool of both Democrat and “establishment” GOP corruption, so that’s his experience, it’s understandable. I think the only possible major fraud in “fairly deep red” Alaska, would be establishment GOP fraud against Palin. Not from the Democrats.
We all saw (at least photos of) Brandon’s “V for Vendetta” speech recently. I see it as just a get-out-the-vote message for Democrats, nothing more. All the Democrats can do is run against Trump, so they’re running against Trump, again. It may work.
It may work because the Republican party barely exists as a brand at this time—besides Trump, it’s a bunch of NOTHING. Sure, prices are rising, but if you helped cause it and you’ve got no plan, why should any “independent” vote for you? Might as well stay with the Democrats and get some student loan write-offs, handouts, free shit.
I warned about this, wrote about this a year ago. I said (more or less), “You lazy fools can’t run on no definite agenda and hope to win big; you have to stand for something, and you have to share some definite plans, or at least the perception of such.” Again, that was a year ago. Looks like I was on to something. You can ask Sarah Palin about it. (Not blaming her personally, I’m talking about the brand.)
As long as the bottom doesn’t totally fall out of the stock market between now and Election Day, I think Republicans can kiss their “Big Red Wave” goodbye. These limp dicks might narrowly take the House, but they won’t have a “mandate” to investigate squat, or do anything.

The Dreizin Report’s Approach To Homeless Sexuality
This is an oddball, but I figured I’d get it out before Variant X hits. We here at the Dreizin Report don’t care about your sexual preference (unless it’s directed at children.) I’m not sure about my webmaster / video editor (didn’t ask him), but I don’t even have a problem with “gay marriage.”
Unfortunately, what we’ve seen is that homeless sexuals tend to be creative and thus overrepresented in art and media (to include screenwriting and filmmaking) and perhaps education as well, and some vanguard among them have waged an aggressive campaign of “forward defense” in the Anglosphere and some other Western countries…..
…..Constantly pushing the envelope and trying to “normalize” homeless sexuality (and more recently, transgenderism, although that’s more the work of lefty groupies) and even push it on kids as a perfectly equal and valid “lifestyle choice.” (You reach the kids, you’ve made the future.)
In reality, most homeless sexuals I’ve known (the men, anyway) are, at best, directionless in their personal lives, and insecure and with a weak sense of self (and just as often, miserable and angry), and don’t even take advantage of the marriage option anyway. Being “gay” is not a fun thing to be. That’s just not the right word for it. Clearly, most of them are not gay.
(The “magical gay elf” stereotype (your gay hairdresser or the gay housemate who listens to all of the straight girl’s love problems) was pushed hard since circa 1990 by homeless sexuals in Hollywood and the TV business, so that ignorant normies (the sort who’d equate pederasty with pedophilia) wouldn’t feel threatened, that’s all. It’s fake.)
Of course, homeless sexuality is a compulsion, not a choice, so you’re not going to “recruit” kids and keep them permanently like some sort of cult. However, most parents don’t want that stuff in their face…..
…..and there’s no reason to confuse kids and teach them about “Daddy’s Roommate” (which was intended as required reading in New York City schools in the early 1990s, before a Hispanic parent revolt forced out the schools chancellor) before they even understand about urges or anything else. Bad call, you goddamn @$$holes.
(Frankly, it’s hard to say how much of the homeless sexual / alt-lifestyle propaganda is hitting kids in school, and how much is coming at them from YouTube. It probably depends on the school district. My son (12 now, 11 at the time) told me he doesn’t know which girl he can have a crush on, because they all claim to be bisexual or omnisexual or something. I asked him if this is from school or what. He didn’t want to answer. I think most of it is actually from YouTube, and he didn’t want me to take away his screentime.)
For this reason, I’m sorry but “the dialectic” says all homeless sexuals (outside of a few “reservations”) will have to go back into the closet, the pendulum will swing, things have gotten too crazy. Sadly, the mass of them will pay for the sins of the “forward defense” vanguard.
The pendulum will swing because on a long enough timeline, what will happen is what you don’t expect to happen, and what you don’t expect to happen is what will happen. IMHO, Variant X will turn things upside-down.
“MAJOR CORRECTION”
I must largely walk back my last post. There likely was no “major” Ukrainian landing near the Zaporozhie power station. There have been Ukrainian commando landings in that area, for reconnaissance and harassment purposes, and some Ukrainians were very likely bagged on that day…..
…..but, I now believe it was nothing on the scale of what Russia claimed, not a full-scale assault on the station itself. That was probably bullshit from the Russian defense ministry, I’m sorry.
I have just now seen a video of several helmeted, uniformed bodies, one of them seemingly in high-end gear, bobbing up against a river embankment, said to be somewhere on the Dnieper. Also, a few days ago, the Russian side had released a video of five bodies (wearing Ukrainian insignia, and in special forces-type helmets and other gear) on a shore with the sound of gentle waves lapping…..
…..but then evidently told their war correspondents and commentators to deep-six the video, to say it’s a fake from the Ukrainians (duh, what?)—very strange. It may be the video raised more questions than answers (like, where are all the other bodies?), so they just decided to pull it. Their PR sense is at a very low level, but you knew that already.
In general, the Russian side puts out a lot of bullshit, and this time I think they took something real and exaggerated it, and I got sucked into it. But, at least I let you know quickly. Remember, some of the MSM and pro-Ukraine social media kept the “Russian ship go f*ck yourself“, “Ghost of Kiev“, and the “Bucha rape tales” alive for weeks if not months.
The Oracle Wins Again
(Yes, I know the kid above is not the Oracle, just a groupie who lives in the Oracle’s apartment.)
The USA is sinking further into the Ukraine. The Brandon people have asked Congress for another $13.7 billion or so. It looks like the original $53 billion is running out, and they will evidently need more billions on a routine basis.
You can dress me in a hair shirt and call me Ezekiel, because (for those who remember) I wrote a number of times back in March/April/May that the $53 billion would end up moving closer to $100 billion, perhaps even just this year. I don’t clearly recall (you can look it up) but I think I said probably $80 billion this year. Did you hear that anywhere else? No.
Again for any simple, provincial, “I still don’t understand why we’re involved” people, there is no price tag on maintaining U.S. hegemony over Europe, keeping all those weak little cats herded under big daddy’s umbrella, which now also covers the Ukraine.
The cogs and gears within the U.S. foreign policy establishment and military-industrial complex will pay any amount of thin-air Monopoly money to defend their position, power, prestige, turf, career prospects, and/or cashflows.
However, the price is not limited to Monopoly money, per se. A lot of this money is actually to cover the cost of re-ordering or “backfilling” what’s been sent to the Ukraine…..
Russia Is “Demilitarizing” The USA
What you read in the MSM about U.S. arms shipments to the Ukraine is not nearly the whole picture. As usual, they are lying and hiding. They don’t want to admit how large a proportion of U.S. military stocks are going to the Ukraine.
Basically, the Russian army is fighting the U.S. Army, only the “U.S.” soldiers speak Ukrainian (actually, about 2/3 of them speak Russian not Ukrainian, but that’s just inconvenient details.)
Of course, our brave MSM journalists won’t touch this. There are a bunch of Wall Street Journal writers on my mailing list (they didn’t ask to be on, but they haven’t unsubscribed, either.) Any one of these guys could probably pick up the phone and get some answers. LOL, I’m not holding my breath.
I’ve kept track of Russia’s pursuit of the M777 cannon, and I can tell you, if it was really “just” 154 cannon that were sent, as reported, then the Ukraine would not have many left, today. Because Russia has damaged or destroyed or captured probably over 100 by now. Uncle Sam has clearly sent a lot more than 154.
You don’t need to ship the Ukraine a quarter of a million shells (as per the most recent goody-bag announcement, on top of what was sent previously) for just the balance of those “154” that have survived.
The REAL number of M777’s given to the Ukraine (so far) is probably at least twice the “official” number, and, it’s likely that more are being sent even as I write this. In short, I’d guess at least 1/3 of all M777’s in the U.S. arsenal (and certainly more than 1/3 of the functional ones) have already been flown to Poland and trucked in to the Ukraine.
Another thing is the missiles for the HIMARS. To their great credit, the guys at The Duran (YouTube channel) did approach this topic, though not in detail. It seems at least 65-70 of the shorter-range missiles are being shot off every day, on average, in the Ukraine (about one-third to half of those, shot down by Russia.) Probably a roughly equal number (on average, over time) are being blown up in storage by Russia. This comes out to a “burn rate” of at least 4000 per month.
Reportedly, the U.S. had around 30,000 at the start of the war. The manufacturer, Lockheed Martin, can only make at most 9000 per year, and that’s just “reportedly”, as they’ve never actually made remotely near that many in a year….. and hey, there’s a microchip shortage, and those circuit boards are limited-run, special-order and can’t be delivered tomorrow.
Without a doubt, the U.S. has also sent more than the “officially” reported 16 HIMARS launchers to the Ukraine. Russia claims to have destroyed 7 or 8 (I lost track) so far, and has likely bought one more from corrupt Ukrainian army officers. That wouldn’t seem to leave so many, now, would it? And yet, these things are active on every front.
A convoy of four HIMARS trucks was filmed in the Donbass a few days ago. There must be at least two batteries (three or four per battery) involved in the ongoing north Kherson battle. There are certainly more somewhere in north Zaporozhie. There may be a few in Kharkov. The REAL number sent to the Ukraine is likely about TWICE the “official” number.
Why would they lie about this, in particular? It could be that for marketing reasons for the manufacturer, and “PR” purposes for Uncle Sam (to intimidate China or whatever), they want to make it seem like all the havoc these things are reported to be wrecking, comes from just a few launchers. You know, like a “superweapon.” That’s my guess.
In any case, the U.S. has likely tapped out at 20-some HIMARS launchers (net of what’s been lost), because they literally can’t spare (see above) nor even transport any more ammo for them, even though there are hundreds of launchers in the U.S. arsenal.
As for the Javelins (with their now-notorious battery problems), it seems the U.S. has already provided the Ukraine with almost all the missiles remaining in its inventory. “Only” as few as around 38,000 were ever made, and of those, over a quarter were sold to other countries, and probably about half were used in training (if one U.S. infantry scout shoots off just two in basic training, that’s several thousand each year, right there.) Meanwhile, the USA has gifted around 10,000 to the Ukraine.
Some journo or even a GOP Congressional office could inquire with the U.S. Department of Defense as to exactly how many are left (preliminary answer: not many), but you know, the job of a “free press” and “the opposition” in a “democracy” is evidently to stay on a narrow path and not stray from the path.
Lockheed said it will nearly double annual production to 4000, to make up for what’s been given away, but even at that rate, it will take years to rebuild the U.S. stock, and that’s assuming no more are shipped to the Ukraine… and that there will be no training at all on these weapons by U.S. personnel, LOL. Otherwise, the stock may never be replenished.
If anyone didn’t notice, not only the U.S. but also many of Uncle Sam’s European vassals have also already given up most of their man-portable antitank weapons to the Ukraine, err, I mean to Russia. Photos like this are still coming in:
What’s really funny about all this, is that (1) European industry is shutting down due to high electricity costs thanks to their Russia situation, so they won’t be backfilling squat as far as their weapons stores are concerned, and (2) the USA won’t be backfilling much either, once Variant X hits and shuts down U.S. industry. At that point, Russia will be free to just roll over anyone, LOL.
Brutality? You’ve Seen Nothing Yet
Incidentally, regarding the HIMARS. What Russia has done recently is the same thing as the Ukraine did in prior months—spread out, thin out its munitions dumps and other targets (e.g. air defense clusters), so as to ensure that any one strike, even if “successful”, won’t cause that much damage.
The Ukrainian response to this Russian response, has been, predictably, to aim for smaller and lower-value targets (what else can they do?) Sadly, this means they have to stretch the definition of a “valid target.”
Below is video of the aftermath of a HIMARS strike against a local branch of the Donetsk Ministry of Emergency Situations in the town of Rubtsy.
Now, “Ministry of Emergency Situations” is a mouthful, but as per the Soviet model, all firefighters, hazmat crews, as well as soup kitchen and rescue-and-resettlement workers (FEMA types) and some paramedics etc. are under central government control, in that one ministry. They are “uniformed” but they are not soldiers, they are not combatants, they are inviolate.
Here, the Ukraine used U.S.-supplied HIMARS missiles to kill 13 of these guys at their local station. If you are American, this was done by your Government, in your name.
A separate missile attack hit a Donetsk fire truck in another small town, killing two firemen. I have the photos but hey, I think you got the gist already.
Also of note, in what appears to be a first, Russia has rocketed a hospital being used to treat a large number of wounded Ukrainian soldiers (from the north Kherson battle) in Nikolaev. This is not looking good, folks. Obviously, it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

This woman was the face of the Ukraine for a few days. Sean Hannity probably wanted to marry her and teach her his martial arts, championship pistol match, etc. skills (because he’s a badass, and he wants you to know it.)
Well, it seems she’s now working for the Donetsk Peoples’ Republic (or some other Russian paymaster), as a blogger and social media and events personality. Remember I told you (for those who were with me in April), she probably got paid a few bucks for her “bombed-out maternity ward” photo op? Well, I don’t know if she’s truly enjoying her current gig, but I’ll bet she’s getting paid now!
Here she is telling her followers about how she is driving back to Mariupol to report on the start of the schoolyear, which is a big deal in Russia, and an even bigger deal in Russian-controlled areas of the former Ukraine, as it is a sign of normalcy and of success in administration and reconstruction…..
…..(which, incidentally, is why the Ukraine is paying teachers in Russian-controlled Zaporozhie not to work, leading to a 50 percent staffing shortfall that is only partially being covered by teachers from Russia.)

Folks, like I’ve said, most people just want to get paid. Russia and the Ukraine are like North and South, or two different regions of Italy or Spain. The Ukraine (or some large part of it) will be just fine under Moscow’s rule eventually, they will get along as they always did. The problem is, the “Empire of Chaos” a.k.a. Uncle Sam got between them, and he has a lot of money… but sometimes, money isn’t everything. Although, people do need to get paid.

A special note to those who think that some magical new Russian “corps” (or whatever) is going to slice open the front and allow Russia to quickly advance and take (fill in the blank major Ukrainian city.) This is magical retard thinking, a mirror image of the pro-Ukraine “great counteroffensive” idiots.
For as long as Putin wishes to keep the Russian home front nice and happy, with no general call-up of trained reserves, there will be no big breakthrough. As I’ve said in recent videos (and as you might have already concluded on your own), this thing is now on track to be decided by “off the battlefield” factors. People need to stop watching dumb shit on Youtube and thinking they are somehow “informed.” Just follow the Dreizin Report.

On another topic, curious your thoughts on the hundred plus foood processing ‘explosions’ just this past year in the US now spilling over to europe as well as confiscations and killings of farms and stock under guise of disease and incredulously (or believably) no one in media except T Carlson once reported on this to my knowledge. So not only will they freeze everyone to death but also make food scarce and too expensive to starve or freeze out anyone who hasnt already died from the vakks. When i mention this to any of my sheeple friends/family i just get smirks like are you actually insinuating your gov is out to kill you.
To me it seems that at some level the US military knows their gear is totally inappropriate for fighting a peer or near peer enemy and they need to an excuse to get rid of it and replace it with new stuff. Supplying the GWOT junk (openly or fraudulently) to Ukraine solves the first problem neatly and the eventual Ukrainian defeat will help sell new weapons programs to the voters. The much less charitable (and oh so much more cynical) interpretation is that Uncle Sam is getting rid of the Porsche before some of his nephews and nieces (who think he’s gotten really creepy of late) decide to steal it and take it for a spin.
On the Variant X and the pandemmyk of the vakzincated angle – While I thought (and still think) this is plausible I am less confident it will play out as dramatically as you predict. It seems more likely there will be a slow burn of increased poor health across the population that spirals over the next year or two into a distinctly recognizable disaster. Given how rank and file Democrats completely failed to question Sloppy Joe’s 180 that went from “never ever, don’t trust it” to “mandatory if you ever want to leave the house again” in just 10 months that’s more than enough time for Democrats to change their position, pretend they’re not responsible, maybe even blame the Republicans. The perfect crime, provided they aren’t consumed by the slow burn themselves…

A lot of rumour and speculation on this Russian “3rd Corps”, I’ve seen alleged pictures of it, showing higher end Russian equipment, do you think that this “volunteer” unit, could actually be made up of a lot regular russian army who are on “leave” or de-enlisted on paper to qualify as volunteers like the little green men of crimea and donbass back in 2014?
It isn’t the extent of your Ukraine coverage that had people flocking to your site. It is the insight & no BS approach. I enjoy the Duran but with all due respect, Mercouris’ pedanticness at times can be tiresome.

Won’t there be a big breakthrough if Ukrainian military just collapses at some point? And don’t they have to collapse at some point? Isn’t Ukraine going to eventually run out of men? Genuine questions. I was expecting Ukraine to founder at some point and Russia to grab a bunch of territory very fast.
Hey man, I’m pretty sure Variant X is here. My kids got sick early last week and have had eye boogers, fevers (at points up to 104) and a cough like a mother. We all already had the coof twice. I got hit the hardest both times. First time I laid in bed for a day. Second time I took the day off of work and did 1/2 a day of very slow yardwork. This time was an entirely different animal. By far the most sick my kids have ever been. Same with the wife. Luckily it’s just a sore throat for me so far.
As a point of reference we eat organ meat, get lots of sun, lods of exercise, grow our own organic food- healthy as can be- and we got a fat one up the rear. If our parents or 2 got this, they would be dead and a horrible death at that.
We are in the Northwest of the Philly-NYC- NJ sector of the megalopolis.

It’s remarkable how a simple admission of being wrong boosts credibility. We witness it so rarely in media and politics and, when we do, it’s not an admission of being wrong so much as it is joining the mainstream mob for votes, views, sales or likes. Case in point, it seems everyone has come around to embracing the LGBT cult because that’s what we’re told is the more enlightened and popular view notwithstanding that most of us, in our personal experience, witness the same thing Dreizin describes, namely, people who may be highly functioning in some specific area but are miserable and maladjusted on account of their disordered sexual inclinations and behavior. (As an aside, the distinction that Dreizin flags is more precisely pedophilia and ephebophilia. Gay men aren’t into prepubescent boys but, if you know anything about this subculture you’ll know that it’s also true – mostly unspoken in the mainstream – that the postpubescent teenage boy is the sexual ideal for a very large segment – maybe the majority – of gay men. I don’t know much about the lesbians… I wonder sometimes if lesbianism is even a thing as opposed to, primarily, a bunch of rejected women and angry feminists who’ve joined and, in ways, co-opted the gay movement.)
When someone publicly admits they’re wrong – especially when it runs counter to the acceptable mainstream view and it costs them votes, views, sales or likes – it tells me they’re humbly looking for the same thing I am… the truth. To me that’s a sign that I should seriously consider what they’re saying.
Incredibly disorienting times we live in for anyone trying to discern what is true. Seems that everything has become ideological and it’s rare you meet someone who isn’t locked into stance on C19 vakzeens, UA-RU, climate etc. etc.
Maybe not so fast about the Alaska special election, interesting comments from Robert Barnes in their live Duran Vid last week about how he thinks she WILL get in during the Fall election. Seth Keshel has amassed much data on voter fraud in Alaska. It’s entirely plausible the Alaskan 2022 election was stolen.
With Mr. Dreizin’s comments on the reason for Palin’s failure in mind, I would like to highlight that it should be accepted by now that the US is not a democracy. Call it a plutocracy if you like because that is the “proper” term if you were to refer to Aristotle or Plato.

Second, he wants to create economic chaos in Europe this winter and years to come, maybe all these will lead to collapse of EU and thus NATO. Maybe he wants EU to come for forgiveness and new rules imposed by RF. In Anyway, Ukraine is being used by both sides, while oligarchs are getting reach thanks to American taxpayers.

I know you have been speaking a lot about varryant X. I believe your hypothesis in part – but human immunity is more robust and complex than can be projected. It was supposed to already be worse, but was never nearly as bad as projections intended it to be. The food issue seems to be much bigger and something is going on with the weather. I have no specific information on this but it is odd that it all lines up with the year the fertilizer was also shutdown. However, even if this is all a natural coincidence, it is not just food but water. There is a lot of funny business with this, especially because the perpetually rainy UK has also been announcing a water crisis. I am most familiar with California. Lake Shasta was completely drained years ago – I have driven by some of the big reservoirs – the water is missing. Much of the west is highly dependent on this for basic survival.

A lot of the Alaska election is down to the ranked choice voting scheme that Murkowski pushed to secure her place and because of that, Alaska will eventually be a blue state. In this election, 60% of the vote went to republican candidates but enough people put the democrat as their second choice and that allowed them to win the second count. Don’t support ranked choice voting, its just a trap.
When the Duran talked about it, I spent a bit of time thinking about the MLRS rocket expenditure in Ukraine and what that says about US readiness and planning. Officially, and I want to go with official numbers because it makes things look really bad, there were 12 HIMARS and 6 tracked MLRS in Ukraine at the time. 18 launch systems, before combat losses, were on track to used 1/3 of the US’s MLRS stockpile in a span of less than three months. There were something like 1300 tracked MLRS and 540 HIMARS built. We only had enough munitions for two volleys, our prewar stockpile should have been something like 7 or 8 million rockets if we wanted to use the launchers in a protracted conventional war. Are two launches enough in a nuclear exchange? I don’t think we’d be fighting with sticks and stones quit that quickly.

I saw lots of clips on Telegram about a new Russian ‘volunteer force’ too, but really all the Russians need is enough infantry and armour to guard the artillery and let it do its thing. If casualties are kept low as possible so the war is mainly just something on the nightly news, time isn’t of the essence.

Perhaps there is a horde of lunatics who only listen to Mercouris’s detailed daily updates (his own videos) on the Ukraine. I have been paying attention to Alexander Mercouris for years, since he was a guest on CrossTalk. Long before the Ukraine hit the headlines. He is fully capable of providing excellent analysis on a range of topics and very often does. His comments on UK and EU politics are very worth hearing. Also, his style is very much his own, and appeals to many of his listeners. They are not all just Ukraine junkies, IMHO.
The Duran show is a bit more wide-ranging, with occasional guests. But IMO Mercouris does not need Cristoforo. Gonzalo Lira also adds zero. Robert Barnes has interesting insights, but he is far too discursive—who has that kind of time? Cristoforo is not that skilled at guiding a discussion so that the time is well used and well spent and the discussion stays on track.
Mercouris is great, the show (if you have the time for it) is excellent, but the fact is, he has more than doubled his audience this year, and that’s ALL because of the war (and associated political and diplomatic shitshows.) OK, but what happens when the big thing becomes Variant X (or other vakseen/korona problems) or a Little Ice Age or something else? These people (the ones who don’t get eaten by their dogs) will either tune out, or find some other guru—of whom there’s no shortage—who was ahead of the curve on that count.
I see Mercouris is finally covering the Hunter Biden laptop, now that it’s “allowed” (by the dotcoms) to do so, but that just goes to show how he’s smart and careful not to touch any “third rails.” That he played it safe to avoid censorship and make a lot of money, will come back in some way. Which, being no dummy, he surely understands.

I don’t think berating your audience is a winning strategery long term. We’ll see what happens with “variant X” but I think you’re wrong here – the trend is for a weakening virus. According to Podolyaka’s video, there was supposed to be a ceasefire, so the Ukes might’ve counted on a scaled back Russian presence when Ukes sent in 250 or so spetznaz. Or do you think there weren’t 250 of them because there are no videos?

Agree that Russia is not about to launch some crazy Blitzkrieg. Putin does not want too many body bags returning home, and does not want conscripts going there. The Russians are in no rush and they can see how we in Europe last out the winter with no gas, closed factories and food shortages; which will also compound the immune challenges from vak-seens and the death toll of a Variant X.
Sanity may erupt in European governments and we might declare independence from our masters in the US but I am not holding my breath.

I disagree somewhat with your assessment of the likelhood an offensive of the size the Russian MoD claims has not happened at the nuclear power plant. Pro-Russian bloggers etc. produce a lot of non-sense, but the MoD has been relatively reliable so far. The video didn’t come from the MoD, but from less reliable internet sources and may well have been a Ukrainian fake. The motivation behind this could be, to expose the video as fake later on and thereby precisely make the claim, that the offensive never happened.
The MoD wouldn’t publish a video, that wasn’t made by people they know.
Look…This would have been the biggest story of the week if true. Russia would be all over supporting the details. The whole world was focusing om the plant last week. There were hundreds of dead bodies? And no film? The MOD hurt its cause. Independent bloggers were hung out to dry.

About a Russian Offensive in September. I would not dismiss the possibility. In mid-October Ukraine will be in rasputitsa – the mud season – and that makes off road movement hard. So if Russia’s going to do anything, they’ve got six weeks. There’s a lot we don’t know. If the Russians have been successful at pounding troops in the Donbass – and the Ukrainians shoot the wad at Kherson/Izium – a nasty push at the right place could have a serious impact – more so than the fall of the Luhansk cities in July. Think of how war’s have ended. The Germans were on the offensive in July 1918 – were cooked three months later. I think the Russians would really like to clear Donetsk Oblast and prepare for the annexation of LPR and DPR. That’s possible. No reason to anticipate the conquest of Odessa and Kharkov. And why dismiss major Russian reinforcements? They’ve got excellent units we haven’t seen near the front in months. You’re right about non-military factors being decisive – they always are. When is Ukraine’s economy going to go into free fall and hyper-inflation? December? If Ukraine if flat broke will the west pay the $10 billion a month requested by Zelensky to pay the soldiers, civil servants, basic services. Ukraine does have nuclear power – but not enough – so they’ll be cold too. Clausewitz was no fool – war forces us to think in probabilities, not objective truth. So we will see.
Real fighting is good training. Rotating troops in and out is a good strategy and Russia can afford it. Time is on Russia’s side because Ukraine is bankrupt, while every month of $100/bbl oil makes Russia richer. Another thing: the war is keeping people distracted from corruption at home. Slow, careful advance against UKraine is killing two or three birds with one stone.
