It’s obvious that Republicans are trying to “clear the plate” before their expected (who knows?) takeover of one or both houses of Congress.
They don’t want to fund the Ukraine any more, after they take over. They want to do it now, a “one and done” $50 billion (if NBC’s report is correct) before year-end…..
…..and not come back to it anymore.
That way, they can meet 2023 with a promise to their voting base, not to waste any more money on the Ukraine in 2023. LOL.

In my last post, I explained, in detail, how $50 billion won’t even last until summer, not even close.
At first, I thought, they’ve gotta see this.
(If I had to pick a sum to carry the Ukraine and all associated problems and gravy trains from today until December 31st, 2023, I’d say $125 billion, to be on the safe side.)
Now I think, yes, they really believe $50 billion will last all year long. They have a lot to do, they move fast, and the Ukraine is priority number seven thousand five hundred and six.

Folks, I may have brought this on myself. This woman is now stalking me.
Well, OK, it’s not my neighborhood, but close enough. In light traffic, 45 minutes from my house.

I would like to point out that Tulsi Gabbard didn’t vote to impeach Trump in 2019 either – although she didn’t go so far as to vote against it – she voted present on both counts. You can argue about the value of this vote, but she never voted to impeach Trump.
Tuksi vigorously condemned the impeachment at the time it was going on. Then she vociferously refused to vote for it. She went from one of the superstars in the party to a big pariah.
I’m in the EU. Our government is giving 60 euro to the Ukrainian women to get their hair done (along with a myriad of other perks). You can’t make this stupidity up.

This idea made me think that what happened with military system supplies is happening with money. What I mean by this is that, when a spending bill is approved by the congress, stating that, using your example, 50 billion dollars are to be released to help Ukraine, in reality, much more is being spent, and so, in the end, maybe these assistance packages are designed to give a legal cover up over the real amount of money that is actually being spent.

In any case, you completely missed my very clear point, which is that if people are joking about eating their countrymen, the country should be split, and should have been split (or decentralized) in 2014. I’m not sure how you could have missed that, if you understand English.
