What they mean by “the international order“, “world order“, or “rules-based order“…..
…..is U.S. Global Hegemony.
(After all, who is yapping about, and trying to enforce, this alleged order? Duh!)
Which is, first and foremost, dependent on U.S. military-political (and now, increasingly, energy-wise) domination of Europe…..
…..still by far the richest continent…..
…..and, as a unified economic bloc, the only real competitor to the U.S. in cutting-edge commercial technologies and high value-added industries.
If the Hegemon is unable to enforce his “rules” in Europe…..
…..(one longtime rule being, the U.S. and Europe will expand eastward—replacing governments and colonizing, if necessary—and any pushback is a RULES VIOLATION)…..

…..the Ukraine is on an inexorable DOWNWARD trajectory in this regard.
No, of course there won’t be a total collapse… yet.
But here, below, are a few glimpses into how the Ukraine is now filling its ranks.
Russia was smart enough to let its “cowards” out of the country, not make a scene to prove a point about national service.
Almost all of them (now slumming in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Turkey, etc.) will be back, anyway.
With no prior military service, most of them were not even eligible for the late 2022 draft wave, they’re just dumb victims of a Ukrainian online panic campaign, a psy-op.
On the other hand…..
…..with a much smaller population…..
…..and with a large proportion of its prime military-age males having already emigrated, pre-2022…..
…..the Ukraine has no such luxury.
So it had to become the world’s largest prison camp, for males aged 16 to 59.
And if you get the call, and don’t answer it…..
…..they are increasingly likely to try to come get you, in a BAD way.

This is their plan for filling the ranks for their “Spring-Summer 2023 Offensive.”
These men, below, don’t want to fight for GLOBOHOMO.
But, of course, it’s not about what’s best for them.
It’s for GLOBOHOMO.
FYI, prior to the arrest stage (if it comes to that)…..
…..they have to accost you, see your ID, write down your info, and give you a draft summons…..
…..telling you to show up to the draft office on X day…..
…..and without a summons, nothing can be done to you.
So… you try to avoid getting the summons.

Corrections
Two corrections to my last piece:
(1) The U.S. surveillance aircraft assisting with Ukrainian drone attacks on Crimea, are, for the most part, perhaps exclusively, unmanned RQ-4 Global Hawks, NOT manned “AWACS” (Boeing E-3 Sentry or whatever.)
The AWACS assisted with Ukrainian missile attacks against Snake Island (further west, not Crimea), when it was held by Russia.
(By “assisted” or “assisting”, I mean gauging the precise location, reaction time, and technical parameters (e.g., radar frequencies) of Russian air defenses, to help plan successive strikes.)
Also, U.S. surveillance aircraft were involved with the sinking of Russia’s Black Sea flagship, the cruiser Moskva.
(2) This is a half-correction. Based on reader feedback, it turns out, Douglas Macgregor may never have appeared on Mercouris’ YouTube show. Of course, I didn’t say he made an appearance, I said he was invited. Back in March or April 2022, Mercouris told me that Macgregor was invited and, in fact, scheduled to appear. If the man cancelled, OK.
Also, one correction to my December 15th piece:
The average age of many hundreds of Ukrainian KIA’s identified online, in the roughly three weeks prior to my post, was indeed right around 40, as I said. However, this average was skewed by a very heavy concentration of Territorial Defense militia among Ukrainian casualties at that time, in line with Ukrainian deployment posture at that time. According to the most credible source, the average age of “fresh” Ukrainian army (not militia) dead is now 27, up several years since the summer.
Wow, some of my corrections are news in and of themselves!

Omissions
Last time, about the tanks, I forgot to mention something.
They will at least TRY with the German tanks, but the Abrams isn’t going to be used in the Ukraine at all.
(Perhaps as a mobile pillbox to guard Kiev, that’s about it.)
Why?
These things have a turbine engine, they run on jet fuel.
With all the Ukraine’s refineries bombed out of commission, it’s enough work to bring in gasoline (and diesel for the army) from Moldova and elsewhere (all at U.S. expense.)
To have a separate logistics stream for jet fuel going to the front lines, ONLY for one certain tank… that’s ridiculous.
Not happening.
Not to mention, this thing gets almost three gallons to the mile. (Yes, you read that right.)
Where’s Brandon’s EPA?
And who in the Ukraine will maintain that turbine engine?

The Abrams was never cut out for a “real” war.
I sat inside one, back in 1998, was shown the features. It’s an impressive thing.
It does have some other shortcomings.
Unlike all modern Russian/Ukrainian tanks, it has no autoloader…..
…..so Ukrainian loaders would have to be selected (strength required) and trained, to load, fast, even while the tank is moving.
Not an overnight skill.
Among all the other training required.
(I read that the Leopards and Challengers have no autoloaders, either. I don’t know if that’s true.)
What’s funny is how the Germans didn’t want to give their Leopards, unless the U.S. agreed to give some Abrams.
So the U.S. caved…..
…..and then basically walked it back, after Germany made its announcement.
Almost immediately, the Pentagon said, sure, but we won’t be ready to send these tanks for a year… or something like that.
“Indian giver” comes to mind.
The whole thing is silly, when you recall…..
…..the BIG THING a month or two ago, was… air defense!
The Ukraine needed air defense! Patriot missiles!
How quickly we forgot.
Today, no one talks about the Patriots anymore.

Why risk turning off potential buyers of these things? It’s a lucrative business.

As a landlord, I know price inflation was not just “7.5 percent” over 2021.
EVERYTHING at Home Depot was up 20 percent or more in 2021. Home appliances, paint, bricks, everything.
Mid-year, with new tenants, I raised the rent at one property by 18 percent, finally catching up to the mortgage and tax. Finally.
As of January 1st, 2022, one of my daughters’ therapists raised her (much deserved) fee by 25 percent.
Groceries, up 30-35 percent in one year, we all lived through it.

In December, Starbucks rolled out a tipping option on its cashier touch-screens…..
…..so you’re always asked for a tip, and there’s no “I don’t have cash for the tip jar” excuse.
If you care what people think (even if they don’t see it), your $5.00 coffee drink got at least $1.00 more expensive, overnight.

Groceries, still rising fast. My wife brought to my attention, a four-pack of Nutella & micro-breadstick cups is now $8.00. Ridiculous.
Apparently this month, Wendy’s raised its “donate and get a key-tag for an all-year supply of Frosties”, from $1 to $2.
Also this month, it noticeably shrunk the paper cups/bowls it uses for chili.
The price of a veggie-burger with extra patty, at my local Freddy’s drive-through, with tax, is now exactly $10.00.
It was about $9.00 last month (and about $8.00 a year ago.)
Over the last few months, I’ve received a number of SHOCKINGLY FILTHY OR DAMAGED, obvious “prior return” items from Amazon.
In ages past, these products would have been REMOVED FROM CIRCULATION… or, if appropriate, resold as “used.”
Now, they are being RESOLD…as “new.”
Yes, gasoline and natural gas are way down, relative to spring-summer 2022.

Don’t Be A Groupie
One of my commenters called out YouTube alt-pundit Alex Mercouris for his professional past…..
…..and for talking too much happy-happy about Russia’s war effort for most of 2022.
(Mercouris kept serving Kool-Aid—or allowing his guests to do so—for at least a few months after I dropped my near-daily war coverage, when I told you, in early July 2022, this thing won’t be won on the battlefield.)
Other commenters have criticized Mercouris as well. As many have praised him.
Almost half of my readers, originally came over from Mercouris’ show or website.
Sadly, but predictably, even though Mercouris has total clowns on his show all the time…..
…..(how many times has that Gonzalo lunatic been on?)…..
…..he had no further interest in me (or couldn’t afford to be associated with me)…..
…..once I checked out of full-time war, and got into vakkseen doom news and my “Let’s Go Brandon” shtick.
Of course, he wasn’t the only one.
I take a middle-ground position on him. It’s important to understand…..
These YouTube shows are a business, fundamentally the same as the MSM.
They can be very good…..
…..but they are, for the most part, telling you what you want to hear, not necessarily the truth.
Even if they wanted to be the whole truth, and nothing but…..
…..YouTube won’t allow it.
Here’s how I responded to that comment:
Yes, Mercouris lost his law career under bizarre circumstances, but he has totally reinvented himself, becoming an excellent, groundbreaking businessman in his new field.
He’s the only one offering 45 to 60 minutes per day of rambling, quirky pseudo-egghead, usually well-informed, hilariously overdone King’s English “geopolitical discourse” on YouTube.
People don’t tune in to him for uniquely accurate predictions (that’s not what he does); they tune in because it’s a daily show that they can make a routine for themselves, it has a certain flair, and it beats the hell out of watching daytime news or soap operas. And that’s fine.
By my estimate, given his various metrics (and having earned on YouTube myself), he and his wingman together bank at least $50,000/month over YouTube (if you include their personal channels where they appear solo)…..
…..with almost ZERO investment or overhead, and, only working part-time, not an eight-hour day. (It’s clear the guy is often completely unscripted.)
And, I’m guessing, it probably goes to some Channel island entity, to avoid taxation.
Per hour actually worked, Mercouris makes more money than many hedge funders. He’s the #1 superstar of the YouTube “alt” set, and he only got into it a few years ago.
My one criticism: He’s been established enough to leave Youtube for quite some time, but he prefers self-censoring and avoiding many hot topics (e.g., korona policy and vakkseenz, wokeness, “climate change”, etc.) so as to maintain his gravy train to the max. Note how he only touched the Biden laptop after the NY Times finally got on that subject and made it kosher.
In this sense, he has become the MSM, and his groupies, while they may consider themselves as freethinkers, are hardly different from CNN or Fox viewers. They accept censorship and thought-policing; many of them give it no thought at all. In fact, many are double-vakksed, double-boossted, lefty Eurotrash zombies who just want to hear about the war. He doesn’t care who his audience is, if it brings in the cheddar. As I said, a businessman.
But I can’t judge too strongly. I realized the devil-deal and ruined my standing on YouTube very quickly, but, I have a day-job, and my wife is also working (and earning much more than I do.)
If you understand that Mercouris is a business, not a rebel, then it’s all good. Just don’t take him too seriously. Hell, I am a rebel but don’t take ME too seriously, either.
In short, don’t be a groupie.
AND keep in mind, people who have to fill daily airtime, might be very smart…..
…..but they still have to talk and talk, they CANNOT remain silent…..
….. just because it’s a slow news day, or because they don’t have expertise or knowledge on the topic of the hour.

About inflation and economic MSM propaganda in Europe: I recently quarrelled on his blog with an Italian economist who seats in the Italian Parliament because I couldn’t figure out why the Italian “real GDP” for 2022 has been estimated at 4%, like 3 or 4 times more than the American one lol.
I didn’t want to quarrel because the guy is kind of nice and it’s definitely not part of the woke party etc…I just asked for more info, but he deceided to insult, etc… In the end it turned out: the nominal GDP in 2022 grew by slightly less then 7% and the inflation (CPI) has been…well sure much worse than in the US. I found the nominal GDP figure by myself and it was not simple to do because for some reason it’s not an easy info to get. In the end he said: yes of course the GDP corrector for Inflation is not the CPI everyone knows, you little fuxxxxing troll etc. Lol I know it’s not the same: in fact, it’s one third of CPI!!!

Yes, neither Leopards, nor Challengers have autoloaders, which I can say with confidence DO make some difficulty for the Hungarian Army, slowly transitioning to “Leos” from old Soviet T-72’s.

I watch The Duran too because I’ve always been interested in geopolitics. They are not the only ones I follow but they have been among the few channels on YT that have covered a lot of International topics and places, at least in the past. But I agree with you, and Jacob. Take it for what they are and don’t become a groupie. I can’t stand Gonzalo Lira. Never liked him, nor trusted him. He’s just a random guy with an opinion on Internet, and I never understood why The Duran invited him on their show so often. I don’t know if something happened between them, but I’m glad to see that he hasn’t been invited in their show for quite sometime now. I may be will burn to hell for my cynicism but I never trusted his story of being arrested by the Ukrainian police either. There are just too many holes and absurdities in his tale, but I digress.
I don’t watch The Duran every day (I need a break from time to time, from all the Ukraine, Covid and all the woke shit news I follow) but I think they are spending way too much time on Ukraine. It’s perfectly understandable that the main focus should be Ukraine, but not at the expense of all the rest. Especially if there are no major news and changes from the front. To bring an example, I’ve been listening from them since September (?) 2022, that Russia is making incremental advances in Bahkmut, and that Bakhmut will soon fall. That may very well be the case and given that I 100% support Russia in this conflict, I certainly hope this will be the case. But we’re in January 2023 now, and there is no need to keep repeating the same story, over and over, when clearly there are no major changes. It becomes tiresome and you start to lose credibility, IMO. If there are no major news from the war front, then keep it simple and wait until it’s over.

About Mercouris: from my viewpoint it is exactly how Jacob said. I myself prefer to be updated each day 30-50min by Mercouris than hearing BS from other sources. I know that also he could say BS from time to time, but as a daily fast source of info, he is by far the most reliable…or at least the most reliable I found so far. A thing I like particularly about him is that he has a calm style that avoid parossism and catastrophic hyperboles, unlike his friend which I don’t appreciate much who is more prone to use the usual tactic to terrorize the audience.

I’m in the UK, every week the wife is telling me something or other on the food shop is going up by 10-20%. As an example of how they screw us, my young boy has a severe milk allergy so we have to get a plant based milk. Since last year its gone from £1.50 per litre to £1.95 now.

Concerning food prices…
I had posted here about me nearly dying and God speaking to me for roughly a week, during the day while I was awake. I only repeat the first and last bits of that experience. The first being the first words I heard “It’s ok to love, give love easily” and the last thing I saw was, my quote “The walls and roof disappeared and I was taken up into the clouds (I’m scared of heights. To say I was startled would be an understatement). Somebody began speaking and my head turned up to the left where I saw what I assume was an angel. He said ‘Open the book of Revelation!’ and after he spoke everything ended. God did not speak to me the next day or thereafter. It had ended”.
About three years ago I started working on a garden. This is after, and motivated by my experience above. The garden is elaborate because I keep trying to calculate how much it takes to feed two people for a year with some buffer. We have a pretty large back yard. I had to also make it decorative of a sort because of home owners assoc.
When I started the neighbor behind me said “What are you doing?” to which I replied “Making a garden. Well, a garden ‘slash’ park. I don’t want to starve”. He laughed and said “You aren’t going to starve”. Little does he know..
This summer (two years later) my other neighbor was in the corner of his yard staring my way. I said “what do you think?” and he replied “My God! You totally changed this place!” and me “What? Does it look bad?” and him “No, it’s beautiful. Me and the wife look at it of a night sometimes. All of the lights!”.
The solar lights are all rechargeable “AA” battery powered. I have radios (two way), lamps, flashlights, toothbrushes, etc that all run off of the batteries in my outdoor solar lights. They look good. True. But what they are really battery chargers.
Almost everything growing in the garden is heat and drought tolerant. The walls and trellis of the garden are meant to slow and channel people. Bad shit is coming.

I do not know what the economic experts have to say about the inflation. What I do know is that when I go to the Grocery Store that I am accustomed to go for the last 5 years and I purchase the same things they have gone up in price in the last year an astonishing 45%.. What use to cost me $125 now is costing me around $195 to $205. Gasoline has been fluctuating 30 to 50 cents on a monthly basis and the electric bill has gone up about 15%. I am a retiree on a fix income but I learned long ago to adapt Retire Military for 24 years. If you can’t afford steak eat Hamburger. If you can’t afford to heat the whole house then you have to just heat one room. Adapt and try as best you can to survive. However, I do not allow any of these ideologues Idiots with their retched mouths to take control of the conversation. I just point to the Crap that is going on specially with the $$$ issues and I thank them for they having voted for BRANDON and I hope they have sufficient $$$$ to pay their bills.. If there is view in Washington and Brussels that the US can achieve energy domination over Europe to replace flows outside the hegemonic bloc, it’s completely delusional. 7 of the 8 fracked oil and gas basins are now in decline and the permian has maybe 5-10 years left. Just a quick point of clarity on the Abrams tank and it’s engine. One of the big advantages of a gas turbine is the fact they will run on any flammable liquid or gas. The Abrams has a very cool (and complicated) fuel control. It can tell the specific gravity and volatility of what ever fuel mix is in the fuel tank and adjust to match in milliseconds. You would not need a separate supply line for jet fuel, it would be the preferred fuel as it has the highest energy content to weight but not necessary.

Hello. The U.S. National Security Council spokesman said a few days ago that the Abrams runs on jet fuel, and that it would be hard to get this to the frontline in the Ukraine. Sorry, but I’ll take his words (and even better, my own military memories/experience) over whatever website you’re sourcing from.
It says right on Honeywell’s site (the manufacturer) it runs on multiple fuels. That being said it changes nothing in the ability to field them. I worked with vets from Iraq 2 and they told me they dumped anything flammable in there tanks and they worked fine. Also seen a video of marine corp tanker saying it would run on Channel No. 5, made me laugh. Seems pretty common knowledge it runs on any thing flammable. Uncle Sam, as you said will make any excuse to not send his own shit.
As far as I could find from online research the idea was originally that the M1 could run on multiple fuels, but only the ones in Australian service are built to run on diesel, the rest all run on JP-8 fuel and a lot of it. The current 75 ton versions with the uranium armor and added on functions get around 2 gallons per mile on the road and 4 gallons per mile cross-country. To compensate they have airplane sized fuel tanks, over 500 gallons.
Many Pundits are opining that the armor will be the biggest issue about sending them to Ukraine. The uranium AP sabots can be replaced with conventional AP, and the advanced electronics can also be replaced for security reasons. However all US inventory M1’s have been built or upgraded with classified uranium armor which the US would prefer not land in Russian hands. The original armor was the classified British Chobham composite layered armor which has the same security issue. So everyone is wondering about how they can get around that short of building new M1’s.
I think Jacob is right, it was a ruse to get Leopards committed. Hilariously the Germans signed-up to sending “88” of them without thinking about the optics of that number. (Or maybe they did think about it and decided to troll the Russians?). If the Ukrainians ever get M1’s it might not be until the fighting is over.

If you don’t mind re-blading the engine even more frequently, then you could run it on a lot of different fuels like diesel or vodka, but you’ll get less power and much higher gallons per mile, and don’t get me started on what off-spec fuels do to lubrication oil, and thus to bearings, etc. Salesmen are gonna be salesmen.

Go to the Wikipedia article on the M1 Abrams tank, what it says there is that, when Congress initially gave green light to the construction of this new tank in 1972, one of the conditions was, that it should cost no more than $507.000 a piece, which is equivalent to $3.2 millions in 2021. The German version of the same article says its prize to the end customer was $6.2 millions in 1999. Biden now set 400 million US dollars aside for 30 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. You can do the math on that little business transaction with the MIC by yourself.
Now we go to the famous, totally invincible German Leopard 2 tank and compare its technical specifications to its Russian counterparts, the most modern versions of the T-72 and the T-90. The huge difference that we see here is the weight which is 62 metric tons for the Leopard vs. 41 tons for the T-72 and 46 tons for the most advanced Russian battle tank, the T-90 (the M1A2 Abrams is a whopping 66.2 tons). What this means in practical terms is hidden in the German version of the Wikipedia article on the Leopard2, where it is mentioned that NATO had run into trouble when using this weapon in the war against Serbia in 1999, because the bridges in Eastern Europe simply could not handle the sheer mass of Western made tanks. And here comes the real kicker, according to the “Dreizin report” of the blogger Jacob Dreizin, bridges in all of former Soviet Union, including of course Ukraine were deliberately constructed in a way so that they could handle the weight of their own tanks, but not that of their most likely adversary, which of course was then and is now NATO. Now, I’m no military expert and am definitely not in the habit of putting myself into the role of armchair general, but to me this seems like a pretty significant detail on any battlefield when your tanks are unable to use the bridges in the theater of operations. But funny enough, I haven’t heard anyone except Mr. Dreizin speaking about this.

As you might guess I tried to independently verify what you said about the maximum load that Soviet bridges can bear, so far without much success except that hint I found on the German Wikipedia article on the Leopard 2 tank. But the time wasn’t by any means lost, as I stumbled over that very fascinating topic of Cold War Soviet cartography and that they were able to map a huge part of the globe with absolutely astonishing accuracy and a cubiq megafuckton of detail information included. You can say what you want about those Russian commies but they definitely were not just some lazy, slacking freeloaders, but innovative, highly motivated experts that worked for not much more than the greater good of their country and the pride about masterfully doing your job.

As a kid my father, West Point grad ’40, corp of engineers wasn’t permitted to transfer to the air corps because he was stationed in Hawaii in late ‘41 and they needed combat engineering offices, LtCol in ’43 commanding in Guadalcanal. I got to know some interesting military people as a kid, though dad left before I was born.
Anyway one weekend I was read a bio of Bradley and one of Dad friends saw it and aid about Bradley’s tactics/logistics quote that Strategy was what you hoped to do. Tactics were the tools our try to do it with. But logistics was the ability actually accomplished a plan. That friend was ththen current commander Europe and had been a Rhodes scholar.
Where being now by asexual globalhomos that think Hopes are reality and Strategy is reality but logistics are just inconveniences.
Same thoughts on Mercouris. I stopped watching him when he has to produce a show everyday and fills it with tactical minutia which doesn’t have much real effect by itself on the outcome of the war. Inflation is Australia is high on anything processed/manufactured. Fresh food you prepare yourself hasn’t changed out of seasonal bands. Imported French mustard that was $3 is $5. Imported USA Protein powder that was $140 is now $195. Visual diaries that were $4-$5 pre covid are over $8-$9.
The funny thing about that rainbow flag is, that it was widely used in the mass demonstrations against the invasion of Iraq in the early 2000’s. Back then everybody saw it as a universal symbol of peace, with noone ever mentioning it to be related to LGBTQ rights, hell I owned one of these myself and proudly waved it. On the matter of inflation, in Chile the CPI is almost 13% (yearly), with unreal figures every month. Foods and transportation are main drivers of price increases. I noticed prices up in groceries between 20% to 100% (yes, 100% in oatmeal, 50% average in others cereals), size reduction in packaging around 20% in rice, some pasta and sauces. My physician raised fees 20%. Like sometime ago you said, increase of prices is geeting its own dynamics, based on expectations. The state inflated the market with money not backed by economic growth, and now the market is doing what’s was expected.

The inflation thing is a lot like the Russian economy was going to collapse thing. Aside from gas going down, from its high 9 months ago, the price stabilizing was for big ticket items you don’t buy often, like houses and cars, but the things you buy daily and weekly to actually survive have continued to increase if not accelerate. The big ticket items are even if needed an optional purchase. The inflation numbers are a nice bit of gaslighting. But then the employment number had to adjusted by a record amount in December for the overstated figures from the first two quarters of ’21. My bet is the same will happen eventually for inflation, cpi ect.

Here in Ireland the official rate is about 7.5 % . However , since I first noticed it about 18 months ago my weekly grocery bill has more than doubled and the cost of electricity has almost doubled in the last 6 months . I am a pensioner on a fixed income and am attentive to things that cut my disposable income .
A few weeks ago I came across an article which stated that Western Countries were all using identical accounting trickery to cut about 2% from their inflation rate and boost their recorded GDP.
A weekly or monthly contribution would probably be beyond my budget . I make contributions when I have some spare cash .
