The story that “Mad Vlad” is going to start WW3 is exactly what the globohomo-controlled msm wants… to keep the NPCs in a constant state of fear and paranoia about “Crazy Tsar Putler” and the “Evil Ruskies” (and ofc now the “Yellow Peril”). In my view, Russia has clearly linked political situations to (and used them as a cover and justification for) military actions, whether it’s recognition of the L/DPR and starting the SMO, the Crimean bridge terrorist attack or the ostensible negotiations leading to the withdrawal around Kiev (which the RF needed to do regardless, imo).
Once there is a sufficient political/legalistic justification, a reaction will occur. We now clearly see this with the suspension of the New START treaty: a response to the US provocation on Russian nuclear capabilities at Engels AFB 2 months ago. So leave the knee-jerk reactions to the globohomo cabal and its Europistan vassals, it’s all they’re capable of.

I watch on Odysee. I can comment on there, knowing my comment will show up, unlike YouTube. I use an adblocker, which seems to work. I’m open to all views/info, then try and use my judgement.

Pretty sure AM and his wife have twin girls, and at least two dogs. Those bills do add up. I’m grateful to A&A for opening my eyes to some geopolitical realities, but now I only listen to 1-2 episodes a week at high speed. No need to watch, and they repeat enough that I don’t miss anything. I can do physical work while I listen — it helps pass the time.
Spot on regarding Mercouris. He says the same thing three times over but with a slight variation with each iteration. Often he will speak for over 3 mins to say what could be said in 15 seconds. He has had these long videos everyday for a year. He puts a commercial in at every 5 mins at least.
If I do listen, it is on TG. He can’t insert ads on that platform. I wonder how much they have made in a year. Does anyone know, do they share the revenue with any of the guests?
Thanks, you should go back and read my “archives.” A month or two ago, I published my estimate of how much Mercouris and his wingman earn per month, between the two of them (on their main channel and their respective personal channels, as well as access subscriptions to their own website.)
Based on my own brief YouTube earnings experience, and looking at their numbers, I estimated at least $50,000 per month. That is probably rather low, but I’m confident that’s the absolute minimum. It’s not less than $50,000 per month.
I tried to watch the guy again a few days ago. Only made it through a few minutes. It’s freakish and unwatchable. He says almost nothing, over and over, and he’s got that bizarre shaking going on. Most of the time, there is no real informational content. It’s a moral fraud. No one with a real job and kids (or a social life) has time for this bullshit.
No, Mercouris does not share revenue with guests. I was on his show in early June 2022, it was his best-rated episode up to that time. They also posted, on their own channel, my first five or so YouTube videos, which again were some of their best performers, up to that time. I estimate they made close to $10,000 off of me, and they never offered me a cent, it was not even discussed. I’m not mad, I gained a lot of followers (not all desirable) for myself, but, just to answer your question.
I have many readers (including many who give me money) who used to watch Mercouris but have since stopped, or, only watch him occasionally. I also still have very many Mercouris groupies, who I’m trying to shake. They are mostly quite young (and broke) and quite stupid, and as such, they will never give me any money. All they’re doing is costing me (e.g., by remaining on my mailing list.) I’m trying to provoke them to leave. I’ve gotten rid of many thousands already.

As an update, I have been ejected from the Duran chat group and I guess their channel on TG. I committed the cardinal sin of pointing out that Mercouris was innacurate in his video over Brexit betrayal. Nothing more than pointing out the fact that I was able to easily buy eggs at £1.68 per dozen and only once had the shelves been bare and with regards to certain fresh produce, we are having supply chain issues because of cold weather in Spain and N. Africa and many other growers have shutdown because of the cost of energy.
He made a great deal of uninformed statements about Brexit supporting red seats and just revealed his complete lack of understanding about UK local and grass-roots politics. Mercouris lives in a wealthy part of London. He has little or no contact with working people in Britain.
From what I hear, they will be happy to go to war (I live in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the UK, Bootle). The support for Ukraine isn’t necessarily strong but people have a lot on their plate but if it comes to fore, these lads will march to war. I asked about if anyone knew of people going to Ukraine to fight. I have been told of quite a few who have gone and of some who were stopped by the women of their families. Anyway, Mercouris knows nothing of the working man’s world in the UK.

I often watch their EU-specials since it really informs me what is going on and I don’t have to read all those European feces-papers myself. Mercouris is competent in EU-terms and has a good feeling for French, German and British politics, one has to give him that. I don’t see any ads at YT anymore since I use U:block. They have never gotten a cent from me though – maybe I am an s-hole (pretty sure I am) but someone who sells mugs, sweaters and shit has enough money imho.

Regarding Rabbi Peterstein (his preferred ‘born again’ nomenclature now that he’s visited Israel and become a paid propagandist for Netanyahu, neocons, and whoever else is currently sponsoring “The Daily Wire”), his shtick was synthesizing parts of the Bible with modern psychology into a cohesive worldview that consisted of telling people to clean their rooms, get married and boil lobsters (or something). The academic part of that endeavor failed but he found a receptive audience of mostly aimless young men.
His perspectives were/are skewed by the education system of Canadia (as diversity hire Karine at Brandon HQ says) and the set of values contained therein, as well as his trust in the ‘system’—the latter leads to some of his blind spots, e.g. his “Trust the Science”(Pfizer tm) stance on the vaqseen and more recently his belief in MSM narratives about the Ukraine conflict, while the former is responsible for his tedious whinging about ‘Murder-Dictator’ Stalin and his glorifying of Solzhenitsyn (funny how he never mentions “Two Hundred Years Together”).

I agree with your assessment of both Chomsky and Peterson. Peterson can be the most uninformed person at times –I think he found out who Klaus Schwab was just a few weeks ago… Actually, I don’t think he’s that smart: there are hundreds of more qualified conservative thinkers on Youtube alone. His books have zero deep/philosophical value apart from a few good, common sense, practical pieces of advise for young people. Well well well. I thought I was the only one who thought Peterson was highly overrated. I, too, have a problem with his voice. It’s grating on my nerves. It’s screechy and somehow accusatory. I used to listen to McCurious pretty often until early 2019. At that point his ramblings became too much and he was just playing to the Trumpers and almost looked like he was getting into Qtard territory. He is very well read and reads media sources of several countries it seems. That was the attraction at first. Apparently if the creator doesn’t switch off monetization completely, YouTube can decide what they want in terms of ads. Styx turned it completely off and sometimes there were still f**** ads on his videos.

Apparently he is a lawyer by training so it’s expected. I’ve only listened to their interviews with interesting guests. Alexander M is knowledgeable in some areas such as history and can carry a conversation—I enjoyed his long form talk with Glenn Diesen and that older Russian diplomat, for example.
Don’t know what’s the obsession with the Duran… it’s the same type of infotainment as almost any other ‘alt-media’ but with a European/pro-Russian slant. If you don’t have the desire to read telegram for 30 minutes a day you can listen to them talk about the same things, lol. Funny if they already have angry groupies, though. I wonder what people here think about Glenn Greenwald—his show is probably the most high quality one I’ve come across in the last year. When it comes to Europe, Mercouris actually provides some insights. I think he’s also right about Erdogan the mood in Turkey, at least my turkish friends confirm it. He’s also right about my country, Romania, and about Moldova, but that’s not much, since everyone with half a brain can see these are two failed states with NATO puppets as leaders.
Dreizin is valuable within his area of expertise. Mercouris is great on issues that Dreizin doesn’t even touch. It’s not a zero sum game. Commentators should do their best to excel in their chosen field(s) while having, at minimum tolerance, for others who do different and complimentary work.

Don’t want to defend Duran (ain’t got no time to watch their whole series neither), but Mercouris has also Telegram channel, where he has around 40k-ish subs, and where he reposts all of the content directly w/o ads. It doesn’t really fit into the ytb ad-revenue narrative, do it?
Hello. Regarding your last sentence… You’ve obviously never had to reach an audience, or multiple audiences.
There are people—the great majority of Mercouris’ followers—who will not leave YouTube under any circumstances. Most of them will tolerate the ads. (A small proportion use an ad blocker, but that’s out of his control.)
There are also people who have left YouTube, and will no longer watch it under any circumstances. Providing ad-free videos for this group on Telegram, Mercouris loses nothing. He can still earn a few bucks from Telegram-hosted ads, and, perhaps one or two percent of this crowd will buy his silly T-shirts. Again, he loses nothing.
What the Duran says you can get from most Russian telegram channels like Slavyangrad 12 to 24 hours in advance. Given up watching them also some live discussions with guests are interesting. I haven’t come across any adds.
So if I understand the comments, Mercouris launched the drone from YouTube?😉

I’m guessing that if you’re pushing out daily content on YouTube you have only so much to say and far too much time to say it in, so you have to pad, no choice. An original, content-fill one hour video will take hours to research, never mind the time to actually edit it. And if you’re commenting on current affairs how much real raw material is there anyway?

Won’t happen. Neither NATO nor Russia is seriously interested in significantly widening this war. Both sides are happy with the status quo. Clearly. I mean, in the words of Sam ‘Ace’ Rothstein in the closing moments of “Casino” … “Why fuck up a good thing?”
I have read that Russia’s Defence Ministry considers “live combat zone” training for its armed forces to generate THE best bang for their buck, versus endless “exercises” in what is a very, very diverse, somewhat corrupt, and widely distributed country. Syria did wonders for Russian updating. Not saying they are great at war now, BUT they really did need some updating since Chechnya and Georgia, or they’d already have been driven from the field, and have to go to full mobilisation.
So NATO is giving the Russian Army its single best and most effective sustained “software” update in modern combined arms combat warfare training since Guderian smacked Stavka around in 1941. NATO is getting to test their ‘previous gen’ stuff against its original intended target: the Russian Army. Why? Well, given that ‘next gen’ is to replace perceived crappy aspects of ‘previous gen’, might be good to know if you threw out the baby with the bathwater, no? Oh and of course, the consulting industry is making a killing off PowerPoint presentations to NATO and EU officials, of course.
