At the Wall Street Journal, Peggy Noonan (Reagan’s speechwriter for two years) writes that “the national-security communications snafu shows a government in the hands of immature bros.”
No shit, Sherlock.
I talked about this, over a month ago.
In both an audio message and a video interview with Coffee and a Mike, talking about Trump and Vance (but you could add Hegseth and others), I said they were out of their element on the world stage.
Trump’s foreign policy in the first term was a big nothing, and it left everything hanging (e.g., delayed the YooKrayne war but resolved nothing, delayed the Afghanistan withdrawal for Biden to be blamed for it, ruined Obama’s relations with Iran but resolved nothing, left North Korea to become a major military-technological power, etc.)
Yet, it was mostly peaceful, and thus, he got to claim success just for that alone. Today, things are much more complicated, and these guys are ADRIFT.
A bit after I declared these guys as too “farm league” for their present jobs, Vance made his famous, disdainful “some random country” comment.
Well, I don’t know how much more obvious it had to be, even then. He’s a “bro.”
Res est ut veditur. If he talks like a bro, he’s a bro. IT’S NOT DISPUTABLE!!!
Working as a small-time lawyer for some tech bro’s… then three and a half years later, he is elected Vice President, and goes around lecturing Europe on how to live. It’s not serious.
Fundamentally…..
The problem is, at the national level, there is a party of power (mostly Democrats but also some old-line Republicans, in short, the UniParty)… and there is a party of bro’s and scum.
(For my Russian readers, Партия власти и партия черни. (All you others, please don’t take the Google translation literally, it’s no good—чернь is “the hoi polloi, the scum.” It has nothing to do with black people, although it is indeed a Slavic variation on “black”, as some American Gods fans already know.))
And, the latter is in charge now.
Don’t believe me? Just ask the “pro wrestling” executive’s wife who now heads the U.S. Department of Education, LOL.
Look, if you want a change from “the Establishment”, there are only bro’s and scum, to provide that for you.
It’s the Establishment… or incompetent clowns.
There is nothing else.
It has become a constant, like death and taxes.
It’s too late for the “American system.” You’re not going to get Constructive Change from “outside the system.” You’re only going to get Chaos and Collapse.
As a PROPHET, I realized this by late 2022 or early 2023, and it is reflected in my writings and audio messages. So, I was mentally prepared, and I am being, and will continue to be, VINDICATED, even though I paid the price (literally), in terms of my subscription revenues… and, even though, it’s going much worser, and faster, than even I expected.
Some of the rest of you, will have to learn it the hard way.
PS: As regards my “quasi-Crimea scenario for Greenland” prophecy, per the document attached at the very bottom of this piece: It is no longer on track to happen. Why? Despite a strong “quasi/crypto-secessionist” mood in Greenland last year, today, the entire political scene there—even the outgoing prime minister, a (former) quasi/crypto-secessionist—is united against Trump, even as Trump keeps sending over his crew and/or their spouses, “just to visit.” How could this have happened??? Well, the simplest explanation, is that the quasi/crypto-secessionists wanted some guarantee that they would rule the place under American suzerainty (I mean, what’s in it for them, right?)… and the Trumpers were too TONE-DEAF and/or DISORGANIZED to both understand that, and to provide such a guarantee at least in verbal, “This is coming from Trump himself” form… and that spoiled the whole project.
PPS: To those who are contributing to my buymeacoffee, above and beyond the paywall fees: Again, thank you. I wanted to thank the higher contributors individually, but I am going so flat-out in every direction, I didn’t have time and energy to think of appropriate, original responses to each one. Nonetheless, with constant unsubscribes from the TrumpTards (many of them, in fact, in Europe—OrbanTards or whatever) and the “I’m only here for my geopolitics fix, I don’t care about Washington” idiots (the ones who STILL don’t grasp that Washington IS geopolitics), my paywall revenues have finally dipped to within a few hundred dollars per month of the point at which I must begin contemplating whether it’s still worth my time, or not. So, the “extra” folks are now, well and truly, keeping this “side-project” going. Again, thank you.

Yes, and especily with this latest fuckup with accidentally adding a journalist to their highly classified group chat. Oh boy the Dems are really milking that one. It seems to me this is the straw that broke the camel’s back for the Bros. I think this incident will make them lose a lot of trust that they will not be able to regain.
This reminded me to go on the Buy Me a Coffee site!
You called it right ages ago with respect to this administration. They all seem to be small time guys who made the big time all of a sudden. Still, competence generally in Western government seems to be in decline. Or maybe we are just less forgiving and have more transparency these days? The Trump guys do seem to be the nadir of competence though. How on earth can such a “team” negotiate with Lavrov and Putin’s team?
Fascinating too that many people want to follow minute map changes in Ukraine but are less keen to understand objectively what is going on at the epicentre of the empire that is driving the whole thing. It’s like ignoring the civil war at the end of the Roman Republic but focusing instead solely on border skirmishes with the Parthian Empire or internal unrest in some far flung province. You can’t understand one without the other.
.
Yes!
The thing I forgot to mention explicitly is that you stress the interconnection. Most of the media and alt media most of the time discusses US foreign policy in a vacuum without considering the real tribal or domestic connections. It’s a bit like classic diplomatic history that was all about treaties and documents but ignored the full context! None of them seem to point out that Trump’s appetite and ability to create external conflict may be affected by the internal conflict he has ignited.
The most heartwarming thing about this administration is that it shows no matter how stupid you are you can always fail upwards.
I often thought that about the Democrats for years. With clowns like Jennifer Granholm, Mayorkas and Kamalatoe they turned failing up into an art form. Now the Republicans are playing catch up in spades.
I’ve been meaning to rant about Nikola Corp. in the pinned tweet. The rant was going to be about how corrupt the entire system was top to bottom, i.e. Wall Street banks, sell side analysts, the whole shebang because a lying, fake company like Nikola could survive as long as it did after being outed for one of the most outrageous and ridiculous lies a business could ever pull. Even had put options that I thought would be sure winners, but no!! But what really got me today was Trump pardoning that lying, scum son of a bitch former CEO Trevor Milton. Of all the people, really?? Trump could have pardoned a bunch of inner city drug dealers who have collectively done less damage than Milton. The guy even somehow had $2 million to give to Trump and GOP campaigns after being convicted and sent to jail. WTF???
Before today I was just irritated with Trump over this and that. Today, after pardoning that slimy piece of shit, all I have to say is…..FUCK TRUMP. That is all.
After the multi-billion dollar shitcoin pump-and-dump scheme, ripping off their own dumbest fans with what their lawyers scripted as “the hottest digital meme” (Not a financial product! LOL), it was clear that these guys don’t give a fuck about propriety, ethics, optics, or what anyone thinks, outside of their own brain-dead Peanut Gallery. They are greasy as fuck, completely disinhibited, already worse than the Bidens, and it’s only going to get even much worse.
Trump is managing the state, the same as he managed his private/family company–no Board, no “legal” with a veto, no SEC, no one else, just him. “I am the state”, like the Sun King. He fires the Inspectors-General, he aggressively demonstrates that he owns every corner, even the Kennedy Center, even “your wife’s asshole”, to quote the power-mad local-boss bad guy from Cold Mountain. Of course, the Federal Reserve is in line for the treatment, IF this guy is not completely laid low before he figures he must “go there.”
And the “He’s reacting to all that they put him through” defense is nonsense (how does the shitcoin fit into that? LOL)… because this is just who he is, he’s been running his private company for 50 years… with zero daylight, ever, between his personal and family interests, and the business… and he’s an old dog, not going to change, and he would’ve been the same in the first term, had “they” let him.
And now its The Trump Organization on a national Government-wide scale.
And of course, with total domination comes total corruption. How can it be otherwise?
Especially with a roll-over, do-nothing Congress, of course, it’s a Monarchy. Of course, it’s going to be crooked as hell, when the King does whatever he wants, because no one is there to hold him back, this time around… and when his aides and cronies figure they are all bulletproof now, because they survived the crucible of the first go-round, and Providence turned the boss’s head from the assassin’s shot, and thus now they have the Mandate of Heaven, and it’s Manifest Destiny, the Thousand Year Reich.
(And that’s not even to mention Musk, who was still with the Democrats at the time, not persecuted, but who then spent the better part of $300 million of his Tesla meme-stock to buy the Co-Presidency and new Government contracts for his AI and Starlink.)
What could possibly go wrong???
As I have written, if it was Providence that turned his head, it was NOT to “save” this land, but to lay it low.
And I say again, to you as someone who could have been sympathetic, but instead is disgusted: You will be blamed by the Conserva-Tards in your life, that it was your doubt and disloyalty which brought this Regime to ruin, and broke the country.
These people will never introspect or entertain the thought that the potential for good ended with the First Term, that the Second Term was doomed from the start, and that, like the children of Hamelin, or lemmings, they blindly followed a DESTROYER into Darkness.
And thus I say again, if there are people in your life, even relatives, who are looking to “convert” or otherwise harass you over politics:
If you can’t shake that drive out of them ASAP, then cut all ties with them ASAP, as the toxicity will soon spike to an astronomical level.
To me, it seems that by allowing Trump and his bros to do whatever they want, is setting them up as the fall guy! The power brokers in Congress probably have all these financial data points and see the financial crisis coming! During my university days, I drove taxi on the weekends and one night I had this economist from the Federal Reserve in my cab and I was driving him to the conference. He told me that from their unreported and only in-house data, in 6 months the economy will sink into a one to two year recession and his information was not disclosed to the public. In fact, the public was told the opposite that everything is rosy! He was correct! My conclusion, insiders rule! Trump and his bros are outsiders, totally lost and struggling in the dark
Sorry, unless the conference was in Canada, I don’t know about your story, as you live in some Canadian small town or large village, and thus it’s possible but really not likely that you (or your parents) paid premium to attend a college in the USA. Unless, you attended the Colorado School of Mines, Merchant Marine Academy, or some other super-specialized school.
I don’t know about the Fed, but it is plainly obvious that Congress (both parties) are clueless muppets.
The only ones who have even the faintest clue, are those (if any) who still read my blog. Up until the paywall, I had very many Congressional Republican readers, and, as you will recall, I took credit for influencing them, FWIW, to suddenly cut down on (authorized/legal) YooKrayne funding after the 2022 midterm election, as I wrote repeatedly that it’s a black hole and there is no end-date.
THAT was one rare case when Congress (at least, the Republicans) had a clue about anything.
I980 – 1981 I was driving taxi in Vancouver while attending UBC. We just came out of a 1980 recession and everything seemed to be working. The summer of 1981 to November 1982 was the second recession. This was the one he was referring to. He was the economist either from the Canadian Bank of Canada, or Federal Reserve of U.S. I can not remember which. He just told me he was from the federal government bank..
OK
Turns out Milton hired Pam Bondi’s husband. I love Trump’s response: “I dont know Milton but he is a great guy”
MAKE SECURITIES FRAUD GREAT AGAIN!

You can go back and upvote all the wonderful comments that you downvoted, or you can unsubscribe before I boot your stupid ass.
You were reading my mind.

“… my paywall revenues have finally dipped to within a few hundred dollars per month of the point at which I must begin contemplating whether it’s still worth my time, or not.”
Jacob, it’s disappointing that far more people are willing to pay for bullshit content than for your valuable insights and predictions. Whatever you decide about the future of this blog, I just want to thank you for all your hard work. It’s been a great run, and I’ll continue following you on X.
Yes , there are definitely a few of us here who feel the same as George and will follow you where ever you go . I’ve pretty well tuned out of everyone else on the internet and get more out of reading you and the comments than anything else .
You’re reading my mind also. Thank you Jacob, please keep posting as long as you can.
