Yes, folks, there was a time when a Democrat Congress was so hard against funding anti-communist rebels in Central America, that Reagan’s people had to raise money by STEALING and fencing U.S. Army hardware to the Ukraine, uhh, sorry, I meant, to Iran. Since I’m on a roll….. In the political science department office at my undergrad school in the early 2000’s, the walls were plastered with Soviet propaganda / Soviet tourism posters. There was one prof who used to tell his classes about his wonderful tour of East Germany in the 1980s, how it wasn’t bad like Western propaganda would have you believe. Man alive, can you imagine what these same people (the ones still alive) believe today?)

However…..

The military-industrial complex…..

…..now grips BOTH parties so firmly…..

…..(This was NOT the case in the 1970s and 1980s)…..

…..that Republicans in Congress…..

…..simply can’t AFFORD…..

…..to reflect their base.

The party is also divided…..

…..on cultural issues.

The hard base is still very conservative.

Meanwhile…..

The Republican National Committee…..

…..aims to attract money…..

…..from rich homeless sexuals…..

…..and from “woke” corporations…..

…..which require it to toe the LGBTQ+++++++++ line.

The party also has no single “line“…..

…..on matters such as “1/6.”

Was it an outrageous…..

…..as Mitch McConnell and Rupert Murdoch…..

…..would have you believe?

Or was it an act of protest…..

…..with a few provocateurs…..

…..and a few unfortunate incidents…..

…..a peaceful demonstration of opinion…..

They just lock him up (with no trial)…..

…..even with INTENSIVE foreign help….

…..it struggles to train, organize, equip…..

$1.25 billion was handed over…..

The rest, is pending.

The Ukraine needs $5 billion per month.

…..of authorized budget support for the Ukraine…..

…..was ever publicly announced.

The other 2/3-plus were appropriated…..
