I’ll get to the F-16’s…..
…..further below.
As usual…..
You’ll learn more from me…..
….in a few minutes…..
…..than you would from the MSM…..
…..in six hundred years.
Get with the program!
The last week-plus…..
I’ve been posting every day…..
…..or close to it.
As I wrote…..
…..(for those who were paying attention)…..
If you’re not checking this website…..
…..or your Twitter feed…..
…..every day.
You’re missing out.
(I’d mention my emails, but those are so damn unreliable. Nonetheless, if you haven’t subscribed, you still should. It MIGHT help. It’s an extra channel for getting through to you. Please subscribe to my mailing list by entering your email address, just below.)
The Salvadoran Trump, part 2
Or: “Not all one-party dictatorships are created equal“
Bukele has led El Salvador…..
…..for about four years.
Calling him a local “Trump“…..
…..(as I did)…..
…..is not fair.
He’s WAY more competent.
It’s clear…..
He is the Salvadoran Mussolini.
Making the pupusa stands run on time.
As for Dreizin…..
Yesterday…..
I did some serious JOURNALISM.
You won’t believe what I did.
NO ONE does this.
I know… It’s crazy, risky.
But, for you readers…..
I went out on a limb.
I actually SPOKE…..
…..to a guy I know…..
…..who recently came back…..
…..from El Salvador.
He said the capital…..
…..is cleaner than Miami.
You can’t find…..
…..one piece of trash…..
…..anywhere.
He said the gangs…..
…..are on the run.
He said he had to cover up…..
…..his (non-gang) tattoos…..
…..so he wouldn’t be arrested.
He says the army and police…..
…..have been massively expanded.
He says no one has to pay…..
…..a gang “tasa” (tax) anymore.
He says Salvadorans from the USA…..
…..have RETURNED…..
…..in large numbers…..
…..to start businesses…..
…..or buy properties.
He says these investors…..
…..ONLY came back…..
…..because the country…..
…..is LIVEABLE again.
Because most of the gangsters…..
…..are now in jail…..
…..and people don’t fear them anymore.
Now…..
I just did a Google search…..
…..for “El Salvador news.“
Below are the first entries…..
…..that I found…..
Just below the most current news…..
…..about a stadium stampede:
El Salvador gangs: Mass arrests bring calm but at what price? (BBC)
In El Salvador, transgender community struggles for rights and survival (AP)
LOL!
Folks, I can’t say for sure….
But it seems likely…..
…..that the migrant flow…..
…..between the U.S……
…..and El Salvador…..
…..is now predominantly…..
…..in the SOUTHERN direction.
But hey…..
Trannies are more important!
Look…..
I know Bukele’s government…..
…..has vastly hiked spending…..
…..and I figure…..
…..the money might be coming…..
…..from China…..
But, you know…..
It’s probably…..
…..just a few hundred million dollars…..
…..a year.
For a great power…..
That’s peanuts!
(Only “problem” is, it must be spent MEANINGFULLY, not frittered away on contractors offering “democracy seminars.”)
As I said in my recent appearance…..
…..on “Coffee and a Mike“…..
…..(if you missed it, shame on you, it was posted here on this site)…..
The USA could literally BUY…..
…..and TRANSFORM…..
…..(into a “democracy”, or an Empire of Necromancers, or something else, who cares?)
…..ALL of these…..
…..Central American countries…..
…..AND Mexico…..
…..for ONE-TENTH…..
…..of what it spent…..
…..on Iraq and Afghanistan…..
This would STOP…..
…..the flood of migrants.
But, “they” don’t care.
They… just… don’t… care.
If you vote…..
If you give money…..
If you are a party activist…..
YOU are voting for THIS.
Don’t believe me?
When was the last time…..
…..that ANY Republican spoke…..
…..like I’m speaking here.
Ted Cruz?
Rubio?
McConnell?
LOLOLOL.
The Ukraine is more important!!!
They are fine to support…..
…..a one-party dictatorship…..
…..in the Ukraine.
For democracy! LOL.
But with Central America…..
…..which actually IMPACTS…..
…..ordinary U.S. citizens?
Nope!
Can’t support Bukele.
Can’t touch him with a ten-foot pole!
He’s killing democracy!
This says A LOT
Check out grandpa, below…..
Talking about…..
…..100,000 Russian casualties…..
…..in “Bock-MOOT.”
Folks…..
Look…..
Per a PUBLIC statement…..
…..(Again, a PUBLIC statement)…..
…..by the Ukraine’s military intelligence directorate…..
Russia’s Wagner company…..
…..had 26,000 guys involved…..
…..in the “Bock-moot” operation.
So, according to grandpa…..
EACH of those guys…..
…..has died or been wounded…..
…..an average…..
…..of almost FOUR times.
Now…..
Seriously…..
Where do you think…..
…..grandpa’s handlers…..
…..got this figure?
Where else?
Of course…..
From Zelensky’s immediate office.
(“From Zelensky’s secretary’s mouth, to Brandon’s script“, LOL.)
Certainly…..
They did NOT get “100,000“…..
…..from U.S. military intelligence (DIA, etc.)…..
…..which would be picking up…..
…..its Ukrainian counterpart’s data.
What this means, is…..
With respect to the Ukraine…..
They are no longer even listening…..
…..to their own…..
…..intelligence services.
(Of course, the intel, excepting fairly raw satellite image analysis, is mostly crap, anyway.)
In fact…..
Seymour Hersh wrote about that, recently.
But…..
If you don’t believe Hersh…..
Now you see it…..
…..for YOURSELF.
(As for Ukrainian losses, we’ll probably never know, but we do know, from open sources, that 22 Ukrainian army or militia brigades were rotated off the line in “Bock-moot”, and as many as 30 if Soledar is included. Some of these brigades were rotated off TWICE, and at least one, THREE times. And, FYI, a brigade—at full strength, up to 3500 men—generally isn’t taken off the line until it has suffered AT LEAST one-third killed or wounded. Also, keep in mind, there have been losses from hundreds of air and artillery strikes against Ukrainian forces deeper into north Donetsk, behind the front line.)
The Ukraine’s top general is in a coma:
Multiple surgeries, may never recover
Aside from claims…..
…..by some of the most reliable Russians…..
…..that Zaluzhny barely survived…..
…..(if “survived” is an appropriate word for his state)…..
…..the destruction of his bunker…..
How do I KNOW…..
…..that he’s not doing well?
First…..
This attention-lover…..
…..who got himself on the cover…..
…..of Time magazine…..
…..and is obviously seeking….
…..a political career…..
…..has made NO verifiable…..
…..public appearances or announcements…..
…..in AT LEAST nine days.
(Could be more, like, two weeks… I’m not sure.)
Second…..
The Ukraine’s most reliable…..
…..information warriors…..
…..have been posting…..
…..”stock” photos and videos…..
…..of Zaluzhny…..
…..the age of which…..
…..(that is, of the photos/videos)…..
…..cannot be demonstrated or determined.
Such as…..
He’s swimming at a beach…..
…..he’s at a wedding, etc.
LOL.
Yeah, he’s really at a beach…..
…..what with THE BIG COUNTEROFFENSIVE…..
…..and all.
Again, LOL.
Next up…..
Third…..
The same Western State Media…..
…..which glorified Zaluzhny…..
…..and, told you…..
…..that the Ukraine has killed “hundreds“…..
…..of Russian colonels…..
…..(although they can only name a couple, LOL)…..
…..is now in…..
…..TOTAL BLACKOUT MODE…..
…..with respect to Zaluzhny.
He used to give an interview…..
…..to some or other Western outlet…..
…..up to several times per week.
Now…..
They’re NOT asking…..
…..what happened to him.
Well…..
I think…..
That settles it.
Also, word is…..
General Tantsyura…..
Commander of the Ukraine’s…..
…..Territorial Defense militia…..
…..which constitutes one-third to one-half…..
…..of the entire military…..
…..was in the same bunker…..
…..along with…..
…..perhaps tens of other officers.
Reportedly…..
His condition is even worse.
As for the Russian-born…..
…..and Russian-raised…..
…..commander of Ukrainian “ground forces“…..
…..(a.k.a. “the army“)…..
…..General Syrskii…..
He’s believed to be hiding…..
…..in a deep-enough bunker…..
…..in the general vicinity…..
…..of Slaviansk.
He likewise hasn’t been seen…..
…..in at least nine days.
All these heroes…..
…..haven’t been seen.
But, you know…..
When Putin doesn’t show himself…..
…..in public…..
…..for a 24-hour span…..
He’s sick! He’s dying!
LOL.
Fan mail
I received…..
…..the following comment…..
…..from one of my screaming fans:
(I “bolded” the last sentence.)
My main prestige media source is Bloomberg, only because that’s what I get in my work email inbox. Some of the things they write – on a host of different subjects but particularly noticeable with Ukraine – are completely absurd. I find it a bit disorienting to be honest, because I know that most of my colleagues accept it as the truth and that I am truly living in alternate reality.
Amongst the many signs of late-stage Western imperial decline, the distortions and lies of mainstream media must be at the top of the list. The fact that I get better information and far superior analysis from some obscure independent American blogger than from a large, well-funded and well-staffed media organization is fucked up.
You know…..
I must admit.
I like this guy!
A lot!
I hope…..
…..he’s giving me money!
I hope you are, too!
Please give me money, here.
Dreizin prediction from early February 2020:

The F-16’s
A reader asked me:
Why is the Ukraine…..
…..about to get F-16’s…..
…..if, as Uncle Sam has been signaling…..
…..in his State Media…..
He wants to end (or “freeze“) the war?
It’s a great question.
It’s very simple.
After Korea was frozen in 1953…..
…..and Vietnam (not for long) in 1973…..
Were those countries…..
…..IMMEDIATELY cut off…..
…..from all U.S. assistance?
Of course not!!!
If anything…..
U.S. material aid…..
…..to the Korean army…..
…..only INCREASED.
Now…..
Please listen, below.
The one thing…..
…..I forgot to mention…..
…..in the audio…..
…..is that these craft…..
…..would OBVIOUSLY be serviced…..
…..in Poland…..
….and/or some other NATO territory…..
But, they would take off…..
…..for their combat sorties…..
…..from only within…..
…..the Ukraine.

House Republicans wrecked THE BIG COUNTEROFFENSIVE

Please give me a financial pat on the back, make this all worth my time, here.
If you haven’t already, and you’re not conceptually opposed to the medium, please sign up to my Twitter.
Please also familiarize yourself with my much-improved, rationalized, more concise Comments Policy, below. It applies to everyone, including YOU. There may be slight updates to this policy in each new post. Please be aware. I hate to have to delete comments, but, sadly, I do it all the time.
Comments Policy
I really appreciate good comments. Many people come back here, in-between posts, just to read the comments. If you help me entertain them, you’re my hero. A few rules: This is not a chat board. Your comment must primarily, largely involve and directly touch upon something that, or someone whom, I wrote about in the post you’re commenting on. Life reminiscences (if relevant), relating your relevant personal experiences, your job, your commie college girlfriend, your idiot family members, your Ukrainian coworker, etc., if relevant, are all HIGHLY encouraged. The most interesting content here… is YOU. The only exceptions to the on-topic requirement, are if you’re calling attention to a technical problem with the site, or briefly stating how much you love the content or this Comments Policy. Don’t try to “legitimize” an off-topic comment by throwing in some little pre-thought or afterthought about what I wrote. NO DISCUSSIONS THAT STRAY FROM MY TOPICS. My topics are the only common denominator here, and while it may amuse you, most readers have no interest in your thoughts on the Punic wars, or on some guy named Serge, or on how much you generally / generically don’t like the Ukraine and Zelensky; it’s your way to kill your own time, but it adds no value for others. Which means, if you’re responding to someone else’s comment, your response must still relate directly to one of my topics. Doesn’t matter how much you generously donated, these rules apply equally to everyone. 350 word limit, no exceptions, 351 words won’t be published, sorry. No rambling. If you’re not sure what “rambling” is, ask yourself, “Are others likely to understand and appreciate or enjoy my comment, or am I merely jerking off“? Nazis, commies, worshipful groupies of Mercouris/Johnson/etc., Jew baiters/haters, FBI agents-provocateurs, guys who forgot to take their Ritalin, passive-aggressive needling of the sysop or of other commenters, random questions that have no bearing on what I wrote (to include requests for my view on some commentator I’ve never heard of), no-punctuation writing by the smartphone generation, silly “Nadsat” lingo picked up from “The Saker” website, use of the BS term “SMO“, and autistic bitching about the satanic USA and its evil pedo pervert elites and how they must be killed (or other bile in that vein), will not be tolerated. If you’ve got issues, this is not your “let it go” zone. Don’t write anything here, that your therapist wouldn’t approve of. Thank you!
About your American Thinker article (nice job!), I’ll pile on:
Far from presiding “with his ‘serious face’ over televised emergency meetings”, Trump couldn’t resist attempting to fulfill his fantasy of being the highest-rated talk show host in history. (“I’m bigger than Oprah. They tell me they’ve never seen anything like it.”)
Instead of looking “solemn and presidential as some egghead in a white lab coat stands next to him”, Trump stream-of-conscious interviewed the eggheads, leaving himself open to attacks and mischaracterizations by his enemies (drink bleach, etc.).
My opinion on why Russians were able to blast huge arms depots i.e. in Khmelnitskiy and Pavlograd is Ukies were not not able to reflect the change of the situation: severe depletion of their anti-aircraft missiles. It probably got burried in bureacracy of their HQ. Or their brains just did not want to admit it. Russians themselves got surprised many times by not changing their tactics with (suddenly) changed reality.
Not sure why you think Trump will be a disaster for the US.
Trump getting re-elected will be the greatest thing to happen to our country in my lifetime. Why? Because on Day 1 of his Presidency, every blue-state governor will create “safe zones” for liberal laws that they fear will no longer be protected by DC (in terms of immigration, environmental regulation, abortion, educational policy, etc). That and our “Allies” will have to go their own way to defend themselves for once.
The US will then become what it always should have been, a bunch of squabbling micro-cultures trying out every freakish thing imaginable with people moving between them based on their success/failure and the Feds playing a largely ineffective referee. What’s not to like about this?
Sounds nice. But when, on this blog, have I written or said, even one time, that Trump will be elected in 2024? Did you hit your head?
I don’t estimate the impact of something that I won’t bet on happening.
At most, I suggested that Trump, if nominated, elected or not, will be another shitshow, same as last time. With Trump, that’s simply guaranteed. (I think I also said, it would be fun.)
Don’t be so pessimistic. Many people hope that he will make Colonel MacGregor his chief security adviser and then they will clean the swamp!
OK, there might be an ounce of sarcasm somewhere between the words.
“Bock-MOOT” is my favourite word of the week if not word of the month! Sounds like a space-pimp from Guardians of the Galaxy or some kind of hairy alien from Star Wars. “Oh shit, they got a Bock-MOOT!”
I completely agree with your analysis of Trump’s reelection campaign. It should have been a slam dunk, but Donald Trump just couldn’t help himself. All the man had to do was just stay focused for nine months, and he would have won with ease. It was too hard though! lmao
Sure, he was focused. Focused on yapping about himself!
It’s a play in three parts. Trump wins against great odds, loses to the Swamp, then returns to finish the job. (See Star Wars).
They send F16s now, and then what? Creepy Uncle Biden’s poopy nappies? Any other stockpile of aging weapons that can be dumped into this conflict en masse?
They could pull some stuff from the Arizona airplane graveyard. Give ’em some B52s, I’m sure it’ll be “game changer,” lol.
LOL Bitcoin a cult! I have to agree, it even has its own holy writ, mysteries, and secret initiations…..I have a friend who mortgaged his house (previously paid off!) to “invest” in bitcoin….this just seems foolish to me but, what do I know, I’m not educated or initiated into the bitcoin mystery cult lol….
HAving toiled in the corporate system for 25+ years I of course have no pension – I note Jacob you are employed in the govt system which has a very valuable pension system – smart! – I have 401K and IRA investments which I manage and I hold oil & gas, pipelines, phone companies – basically public utilities, the heart of the economy….and they’ll keep the oil flowing for a long long time despite all the hysterical idiots who don;t have a clue about anything…and O&G pays a good dividend, keeps me in pot and brownies, anyway
Who will pilot? NATO “retirees”?
The UK is beating its swords into… depleted Uranium dust via Russian airstrikes, whilst beating its citizens so as to beat new swords. Why pay less?
In an off hand wayPedo Peter got one thing right about Bakmut’s 100K Russian casualties – “it’s hard to believe;” impossible in fact.
I live in Georgia, the economy is doing well and I believe it is at least in part due to Governor kemp not frying it over covid.
Wow. The censorship really is intense and deliberate. When Trump was found liable it was almost impossible to find the Jean Carroll is a fruit loop interview. Now it’s I found it top of my search
Google is fucked. It’s a closed playpen for infants. Try finding, using only Google, the entire interview or just the last minute of Jean Carroll, Anderson Cooper interview on CNN… Where she says rape is sexy
F16: Not all F-16’s are created equal. The Romanian F16 fleet, coming from used Portugese F16A’s and B1s, even after the Mid Life Upgrade program had several issues, to the point that they had to ask NATO help for Black Sea air policing.
As “uncle Jacob” told, there are thousands of F-16’s lying around, in various conditions – want to bet on that everyone will dump them getting “favor points” from Uncle Sam and grabbing US and EU taxpayer money for replacement?
Oh, and also its not free for Ukraine. If there will be such a state, THEY WILL PAY. And their grandkids too.
Nah. They’ll probably become like Kosovo. Nothing left but NATO bases and stray dogs.
Ukraine was in a demogrpahic death spiral of emigration and low birth rates before the war, now, 10 million people just left. I’m sure those people in London and Madrid are eager to return to a wartorn hellhole with no jobs, no economy, no infrastructure and millions of tons of lead, DU, landmines, and unexploded munitions in the soil. That’s a recipe for a thriving agricultural country.
you’ve dedicated a significant portion of the above to demonstrate to us that Biden and Ukraine are lying about casualties in Bakhmut and your ‘proof’ is entirely based upon the figures that Prighozin has provided – really?
Prigozhyn? What the fuck are you talking about??? Go and wake up and read it again.
A couple things: I’m not bashful about emailing my political reps in Washington. I can confirm, not that you need it, the newly minted Senator Ted Budd(R)is all in on Ukraine. Senator Tom Tillis(R) is all in on Ukraine, and Congressman David Rouzer(R) is all in on Ukraine. I have taken each to task and minced no words in my opposition to the war, and challenging the Gubments lies, which they are all a party to. Next – I have wandered the internet challenging this crazy notion that the only casualties in the war are Russian, and I’ve been assuring the Slava Ukraini crowd that Ukraine soldiers don’t respawn when killed. They stay dead, and there are a lot of them. They think this some sort of twisted video game. They are detached from reality even worse than Dementia Joe Biden
Pulling your fingernails out is a more productive use of your time than emailing your reps.
Jacob,
The El Salvador turn around is a nation success story that does not seem to happen often…if ever. The new Singapore of Central America? Enjoyed your viewpoint.
Not sure what your opinion is of John Helmer (Dancing with Bears), but John is going big and bold with claims of NATO intervention into Russia coinciding with the large NATO “Air defender 23” exercises taking place June 12th – 24th. The claim is that there “is a grave risk” that NATO will use these exercises for air attacks against Russia or into Russian territory under cover of newly delivered F-16s to Ukraine.
John Helmer is a long time foreign Correspondent in Russia whose writings seem very balanced and he does not seem predisposed to hyperbole.
I thought I would run it by your bullshit detector to see how much credibility these claims have. I am going on vacation June 12th and I need to know if should pack Iodine. LOL.
Keep the truth punches coming.
It’s total bullshit.
Zaluzhny being brain dead or mush head he can serve in USA congress look at federman. They got a winner for politics. Hahah
And what a football “the wall” has been! Reason “the wall” was not built in entirety is because swamp calculus Biden wanted to “leverage” immigration hardball with Mexico and Latin America! Use it as some type of threat! They left the drama running for political swamp-bucks (bargaining points) purposes. How crass and cheap these guys are!
Nonsense. The wall was abandoned (even torn down, in some places) because the wall was Trump, and Trump was the wall. It was literally his number one 2016 campaign promise. And everything Trump, is bad.
What I found interesting about the Leopards and F16 situations is that when you buy military equipment, you don’t own it. Germany had to give the ok before Leopards were sent to Ukraine. US had to give the ok before F16s can be sent to UA. It is a nice lock in to NATO.
The receiver does own the weapons, but all legit international weapons sales come with an end-user-certificate which, theoretically, restricts the purchaser’s right to transfer the weapons to a third party.
It was also a Soviet and US, and not Russian practice (I guess the US haven’t abandon) that some functions of bigger, more advanced systems will cease to work if you kick out Russian or Boeing “technicians”.
As Iran experienced with their F-14 and Slovakia just recently with their MiG-29.
There’s an interesting hypothesis I saw going around that Wagner was tipped off by the Elensky…….
Deleted. Get the fuck out of here with your “Elensky” bullshit. That’s retarded. If you haven’t noticed, this isn’t Mercouris’ channel. How tone-deaf are you? I don’t need any retard autists in my comments.
Watch it, Jacob. Calling a Gay Hindu a “tone-deaf Retard Autist” will totally screw up your Corporate Equality Index score.
Re.President Bukele ,
I think that the reason that he is so unpopular In Washington , London etc . is because of his policy on Bitcoin . If it is a success then he could find himself in Colour Revolution territory . Apparently considerable numbers of Wealthy Western Bitcoin fans have also emigrated to El Salvador in the last year or so .
F16s , These are the latest ” Wonder Weapon ” . Basically a PR exercise to keep up interest/support in the West . Like the previous Wonder Weapons there will be lots of media hype and they will make little impact .
The USAF runs a conversion course for MIG pilots to convert to F16s . It lasts 2 years and I heard that the failure is 80% . I know that seems extreme but apparently being a fighter pilot is very much about instinctive reaction and the two aircraft are so different that once a pilot is attuned to one system it is very difficult to switch to the other one . So the pilots may include a number of mercenaries .
Good comment overall, thanks. Dunno if you’re a bitcoin freak, but bitcoin freaks think everything is about bitcoin.
There is even a bitcoin freak myth going around that the IMF withheld money to El Salvador over bitcoin.
The Brandon and broader Establishment hate towards Bukele has absolutely nothing to do with bitcoin.
It’s more likely a mix of (1) Bukele got along well with Trump, and (2) by way of what he’s done in his own country, as well as serving as an example for the rest of Central America or even the entire hemisphere, Bukele has jeopardized the turf and cashflows of Washington, DC’s Democrat-dominated “democracy-industrial complex”, which is very much plugged in to the U.S. State Department.
If a non-ideological dictator can come and clean things up, and fully turn around a (former) shithole such as El Salvador, with financing from China… with 85 to 90 percent public approval….. then, what the hell does anyone need these people for???
In fact, what, then, is the USA’s role in Central America?
US role is destabilisation!
Nonsense. The U.S. role (where it chooses to have a role) is hegemony.
Maybe they destabilize so they can dominate? It’s much easier to dominate (hegemony) societies that are in chaos. I do agree that the US Government desire is dominance but often they start by destabilizing without regard for the after effects for the individuals affected with the ultimate goal to take over and dominate if it suits their needs.
If you actually studied any particular historical case(s)—-for just one example, the Ukraine 2013-2014—you’d know, that’s clearly not how it works. What you write sounds plausible only to dummies who spend too much time on Youtube.
Dreizin, you are wrong here. Permanent destabilization is a specific US policy, called the ‘Cebrowski Doctrine’ after its inventor. Its in wikipedia. Tho the goal is not domination but exploitation of the country’s natural resources at the lowest possible cost.
LOLOLOL. So what if it’s on Wikipedia? I don’t read Wikipedia. There’s a lot of random shit on Wikipedia.
If I had Wikipedia editor status, I could make up my own doctrine, and put it on Wikipedia. Doesn’t mean anyone at the U.S. State Department would know about it.
In short, get your head out of Tom Luongo’s ass. He raises goats or something like that. He doesn’t know anything.
Well, Luongo can quote Ludwig von Mises chapter and verse. And he raises high quality Austrian goats.
I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle between destabilisation and hegemony.
Problem – country is acting in the best interests of its population which means the US can’t exploit and extract resources as profitably and easily as it would like. And / or the country is cosying up to a perceived rival. Or it’s just setting a bad example of independent – mindedness and we can’t be having that.
Solution 1 – pour money into a willing opposition, no matter how shady, corrupt or violent, get them into power and use them to undermine the judiciary, police and armed forces so that the US can have its way (currently being initiated in Hungary, long in operation in Pakistan, many other examples). Solution 2 – colour revolution and / or violent coup with the same follow up (eg Ukraine). Solution 3 – manufacture a premise to go to war / invade (so many examples). Solution 4 (for the more resilient / better armed targets) – long term economic blockade via sanctions etc (Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, DPRK etc etc).
All of these commonly used US hegemonic tools have the net effect of causing chaos to a greater or lesser extent in the target country.
Sounds good, but what you described is no kind of chaos.
I guess we have different definitions of chaos. While many terms can be used to describe the following, chaos is, IMO, one of them: the US / NATO overthrow of Gaddafi and the state of that former country since then; mass migration caused by the Libyan and Syrian US interventions; the death and destruction in Syria; Afghanistan (no elaboration needed I think); the destruction caused by Iraq War 2; the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians by sanctions and war; the US / NATO destruction of Yugoslavia; the mass migration from South and Central America into the US, caused by US policies and intervention there; the death and destruction in Yemen thanks to US support of the Saudi war there. And many, many more.
That’s all collateral damage. The aim is hegemony at the lowest possible cost. Sadly (for the man), today, the “low cost” part is no longer working (see the Ukraine.)
The other commenter claimed that disorder is the goal, as it’s a prerequisite for the U.S. waltzing in. That’s just Internet nonsense. It’s MUCH preferable to sieze–or at least, gain indirect control over–an orderly system, which the U.S. doesn’t have to pay hugely to rebuild.
All the failures (Iraq, etc.) are just failures. Simple people look at those, and assume the destruction was intended, like it’s some conspiracy. No. The intent was never chaos, per se.
Failure is just failure.
Interesting viewpoint. The US tactics of war, coup, “colour revolution”, sanctions, funding for extremists etc. are inherently chaotic so I would argue chaos is a tactic, not an unintended outcome. Resources can be extracted very cheaply from a broken country, eg, free oil from north eastern Syria. (Or at least, at the cost of a few military bases and a couple thousand troops). There is a preponderance of evidence to support the chaos theory, pretty much none in modern times to support a more benign hegemon running orderly systems. You have to go back to the post WW2 for examples of the latter – Japan, western Europe and the Marshall Plan, S. Korea. The US has been running amok since 9/11. Actually, since becoming the hegemon, it really kicked off in the 90’s.
If you ever saw it from the inside, even for half a day, you’d apologize to Dreizin for wasting his time with dilletante nonsense theories. Until then, more money or please like my stuff on Twitter.
I’m basing my views on an abundance of evidence, not dilletante nonsense theories. The mayhem of the last 20 years can’t all be unintended consequences. Alluding to undisclosed inner knowledge certainly isn’t going to persuade me otherwise. Res ipsa loquitur.
You got nothing, just your own conjecture and preconceived notions.
Spend one month working in the broad foreign policy apparatus in DC, then tell me it’s a Chaos Conspiracy.
There’s no “plan” other than leveraging money and various organizational resources to seize turf.
As a spectator, on the outside, it’s hard to appreciate, because you’ve been raised on Hollywood and comics and Internet bullshit…..
…..and you can’t comprehend how the U.S. Government can be so incompetent, over and over…..
…..UNLESS the failure and chaos is by design.
I get it.
There are hundreds of millions of ignorants like you, worldwide.
But, it’s exceedingly simple. Almost every conflict, and every U.S. takeover (or attempted takeover) of a given country, is no different than the “cola wars”, Coke vs. Pepsi.
There may be a “moral” or “ideological” cover for the MSM to broadcast to retard voters (and they are ALL retards)…..
…..but at least 98% of those involved are doing it for a paycheck and career advancement and pension, and nothing else.
The upper 1-2% are doing it for those reasons AND to gain turf and prestige and leave a name for themselves…..
…..AND/OR because, as political appointees, they may be fired if they don’t “gain market share”, or at least, strive to keep their own offices/departments “relevant” (again, turf.)
(In fact, as a boss, you can’t NOT spend money, you’d lose your job. You simply MUST pay for military assistance or democracy seminars in X country, otherwise Congress will say, what the hell is this guy doing, get rid of him and give us someone else.)
The 98+% and most of the 1-2% would just as easily organize military aid to RUSSIA, if ordered to do so, if it made the White House and arms lobby happy. (Just as they did 80 years ago.)
They are not initiated into whatever the fuck chaos conspiracy agenda that you think is going on. There is no initiation. This shit is not taught at the Foreign Service Academy. There are no Illuminati.
Nothing has changed in the last 5000 years of imperialism. There is no more chaos agenda now, than when Egypt was first unified.
It’s sad that you’ve gained no perspective at all, from this blog. It’s just in one ear, out the other. That’s not my goal, here.
If you’d rather go back to Tom Luongo, I understand.
But if you want to keep commenting, you’ll have to give me another five bucks.
Once you have your puppets in charge, they take IMF loans which are kickbacks to the new corrupt administration, the price is of course restructuring the economy to benefit Western corporations so JP Morgan move in for that side.
You then get privatisation, corporate takeover of state owned assets etc. After the coup in 2014 the monthly Ukrainian pension was halved and in the subsequent years millions just plain left the place to look for a better life elsewhere.
Monsanto are in Ukraine as well, along with the Biden’s connection to their gas. It’s really a nasty mix of corrupt US banks/ corps/ defence kickbacks but the situation is made worse as it’s personal for these nutjobs in the White House which is why they are endlessly propagating this war. They just want to kill as many Russians as possible, and if you told them you could defeat Russia but it would take 2 million dead Ukrainians they would bite your hand off.
In terms of chaos that’s part of it as well, in Iraq they basically destroyed their society but ensured the oil fields were heavily protected, so after Iraq War 2 the locals were desperate for basics like water, electricity however the oilfields in Basra had military protection to ensure they kept pumping.
I’d argue the initial phase is the IMF loaning a country money and in the agreement of the loan the debtor country must open up its markets (removing tariffs) to cheap imports priced below the costs of local farmers and industries. This puts great pressure on the local economy forcing many to go out of business. Then when tax revenues cannot pay back the IMF loans, they are forced to privatize and sell everything to the western fucktards. This is well laid out in “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” and Jamaica is a good case study.
That book is an obvious fraud. The author claims to have worked his “economic hitman” agenda for the U.S. NSA…..
…..which, in fact, does signals intelligence (intercepting, and if needed, decoding or translating electronic communications.)
The funny thing is, at the time that he first published, almost no one knew about the NSA or what it does. That’s probably why he picked the NSA.
Today, thanks to Snowden and the Internet, anyone can see, that author is a fraud.
I did not think much of that book and could not finish it but Michael Hudson says the same thing based on his experience of working in the belly of the beast for decades. He says that farmers are required to raise export crops. Michael Hudson is an acquired taste. He had an interesting life. https://youtu.be/hH9pzzIIEj4 https://youtu.be/oex1KnYaYgg?t=1947
In fact we don’t need them, and they revealed as much when they declared Democracy was on the Ballot. Guess what assholes? If it’s on the ballot it means we can vote against it.
“There is even a bitcoin freak myth going around that the IMF withheld money to El Salvador over bitcoin.” I own BTC, so I guess I’d qualify as a bitcoin freak. I think what happened was that the IMF refused to extend a payment grace period to El Salvador, purportedly because they invested in bitcoin. The IMF did explicitly tie Argentina’s 2023 loan approval to a government ban on crypto. Do you not think the central bank establishment is opposed to crypto in general, and bitcoin in particular?
Respectfully, I think all the “facts” you conveyed above, are from some bullshit crypto freak newsletter, and are not quite in line with reality.
I’m sure the IMF has plenty of problems with El Salvador, including (1) the government is a “dictatorship”, (2) it’s highly disfavored by Uncle Sam, (3) it’s likely being financed by China, (4) it has abandoned “fiscal discipline”, and (5) its success, to date, serves as a “bad example” for neighbors and other countries—as in, you can ignore the IMF (and the USA) and still do great.
(Don’t forget that the IMF is based in Washington, DC, and is merely an arm of U.S. foreign policy.)
Bitcoin MAY be number (6)… or not.
Of course, bitcoin freaks will believe what bitcoin freaks want to believe. If the sun comes up, it’s bitcoin. If the sun goes down, it’s bitcoin.
It’s like a cult.
Bitcoin will get you for saying that!
