Heeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyy folks…..
Got a lot for you, today.
Something for everyone.
As usual…..
No one will be disappointed.
First off…..
Thanks for all the money…..
…..and the Twitter likes.
I didn’t realize…..
I’m not showing up…..
…..in people’s Twitter feeds.
Do I have ANY Twitter followers…..
…..that actually SEE me…..
…..in their feed?
I’ve literally NEVER heard…..
…..from even ONE.
If, I’m still…..
…..FULLY SHADOWBANNED…..
…..and yet…..
…..snagging 2000-3000+ views…..
…..on every tweet/post…..
Frankly…..
That’s not too bad.
Anyway…..
It SOUNDS to me…..
…..like Musk is something of a fraud, no?
Please sound off in the comments.
Let me know of your experience!
P.S. After being kicked off of Google Adsense, demonetized from YouTube for saying “Let’s Go Brandon” a bunch of times, harassed by FBI shitheads leaving “Attack Congress again! Hang all the Feds!” type comments when I first started this blog (LOL, for real), and now, seemingly shadowbanned on MUSK’S Twitter… Yeah, I’m really worried about Vlad Putin taking over, hahahahaha. Got to stand up to Putin, yeah!!! Got to fight for democracy!!!
A U.S.-China naval war…..
…..if it happens…..
…..will do to the U.S. Navy…..
…..what Iraq and Afghanistan…..
…..did to the U.S. Army.
ACTUALLY…..
It would be MUCH worse.
NO ONE would enlist for at least 10 years…..
…..and they’d have to bring back the draft.
Folks…..
It turns out…..
The video…..
…..of the Patriot (PAC-3) missile…..
…..hitting a Kiev road, vertically…..
…..was in fact, showing you…..
…..just the rear (propulsion only) section…..
…..of the missile.
That’s why…..
There was no proper explosion.
The warhead went somewhere else.
We’ll never know where, LOL.
For those who haven’t already seen…..
Here’s a “better” video…..
Showing another PAC-3 missile…..
…..hitting the Dniepr river…..
…..(or some inlet)…..
…..in this case, again…..
…..vertically…..
Reportedly, near Ukrainian military intelligence HQ.
If you download this one…..
…..and play it in slo-mo…..
You can clearly see the missile…..
…..coming down…..
…..towards the right of the screen…..
….at around 0:04.
That…..
…..was this past weekend.
BELOW…..
…..is tonight.
It’s believed to be…..
…..an IRIS-T air defense system…..
…..provided by some Eurohomo country.
At around 1:15 of this video…..
…..the system takes a “hit“…..
…..and then, immediately following…..
…..what may be…..
…..a secondary explosion at 1:37…..
It cooks off a missile…..
…..which arcs…..
…..and lands and blows up…..
…..somewhere in Kiev, LOL.
Just, LOL.
I think it’s QUITE CLEAR…..
That, today…..
The biggest threat from above…..
…..to Kiev residents…..
…..is their OWN military.
Obviously…..
Another TABOO topic…..
…..that our MSM can’t (yet) touch.
Anyway…..
Look….
I’ve wanted to write about…..
…..another angle…..
…..for a long time.
Now…..
I must FINALLY get on it…..
…..before all the MSM dummies…..
…..and the “I’m a totally original thinker in an office funded by the arms lobby” thinktank retards…..
…..wake up to it.
It’s clear enough…..
…..that “vodka-soaked gas station” Russia’s…..
…..(and China’s, and so on, down the line)…..
…..hypersonic missiles…..
…..are the END…..
…..of “kinetic” air defense…..
…..as we know it.
The ONLY hope now…..
…..is jamming any guidance signals…..
…..to throw an “incoming“…..
…..off course.
HOWEVER…..
This does NOT…..
…..protect against…..
…..self-guiding munitions.
(Not to mention, thanks to the Ukraine experience, U.S. jamming technology is now fully “well known”, haha.)
Moreover…..
We can assume…..
…..a device that’s moving…..
…..at (something like) Mach 10…..
…..can, with some basic initial inputs…..
…..concerning the direction and speed…..
…..of a ship……
…..guide itself to the waterline…..
…..of that ship…..
……before anyone on that ship…..
…..has any time at all…..
…..to suspect anything.
ESPECIALLY…..
…..if it’s a very large ship.
Folks…..
Surface naval forces…..
…..will soon enough…..
…..be largely irrelevant.
And…..
If “they” REALLY want…..
…..to duke it out with China…..
It would be so unbelievably ugly…..
…..(and that’s the BEST CASE, assuming it doesn’t go nuclear)…..
…..that, in the aftermath…..
…..they’d have to…..
…..bring back the draft…..
…..just to staff the U.S. Navy.
North and South Korea,
East and West Germany
Folks…..
Even before 2022…..
The Ukraine was a DUMP.
Roughly five million…..
…..working-age people…..
…..(almost all of them, under 45 at the time of their departure, and most, under 30)…..
…..left the country…..
…..between 2014 and 2021.
(As I’ve written about, and in fact, as I seem to recall that I predicted in January 2022, WELL OVER 99% of the men have NOT come back to “defend” anything.)
Real incomes of those remaining…..
…..fell by HALF.
And…..
As the 51st U.S. state since 2014…..
The Ukraine only got MORE corrupt.
(LOL, how does that work, exactly???)
WAY more corrupt…..
….than Russia.
Outside of Kiev…..
…..and some major city downtowns…..
…..and a few rich neighborhoods…..
ZERO investment…..
…..was made in infrastructure.
Not ONE power plant…..
…..was built…..
…..nationwide.
Barely anything was done…..
…..for district heat pipes…..
…..or water mains…..
…..or anything else.
NOT just since 2014…..
…..but since 1991.
If you consider most of the…..
…..Russia-Ukraine border areas….
Most roads and houses…..
…..look like SHIT…..
…..UNTIL you cross…..
…..the border into Russia.
Russia’s Belgorod province…..
…..opposite Kharkov…..
…..is, in fact…..
…..one of Russia’s richest.
To attempt to pull Russian reserves…..
…..away from more critical sectors…..
Ukrainian military intelligence…..
…..has most recently…..
…..directed its “Russian right wing militias” (LOL)…..
…..to light up the Belgorod town…..
…..of Shebekino.
Population (prior to the ongoing evacuation): 40,000.
I’m not sure…..
…..why this building (below)…..
…..was hit.
Perhaps, no good reason.
All I can observe, is:
The neat, perfect “row” nature…..
…..of the multiple…..
…..high-angle…..
…..hits to the roof…..
…..(with NO damage to the exterior walls)…..
…..STRONGLY suggests…..
…..that the “right wing militias” (LOL)…..
…..have very precise mortar, Grad MLRS, or air support.
(There’s not enough damage for it to be HIMARS.)
ANYWAY…..
That’s NOT why…..
…..I’m bringing it…..
…..to your attention.
Look at the modern, quality build…..
…..of this structure…..
…..(possibly a totally-redone, mid-Soviet-era structure, likely a ferroconcrete shell with block walls, but with, obviously, brand-new, freshly-painted synthetic stucco finish all over, and with newer, high-insulation windows on the first floor at least, and seemingly freshly clad vent stacks on the roof, as well as an interesting (new or newer) safety feature, namely a railing at the edge of the roof, so that roof maintenance guys or snow shovelers don’t fall off)…..
…..and the very tasteful…..
…..well-maintained landscaping…..
…..and an almost-new parking lot…..
…..and likely new street/park lights…..
…..and freshly-painted curbs.
(I’ve got other such videos, but I won’t bore you.)
Folks…..
This is a Russian PROVINCIAL TOWN.
You can hardly find…..
…..anything this nice…..
…..in the hinterland…..
…..of the USA!
Let alone, the Ukraine.
Most Ukrainian cities…..
…..of under 300,000 people…..
…..barely even have…..
…..any curbs remaining at all.
The old Soviet-era curbs…..
…..have almost sunk into the ground.
There’s nothing to paint!
An “insider’s” explanation…..
…..as to why bureaucracy ONLY grows
Folks, of course…..
I speak ONLY for myself…..
NOT for my Federal employer.
With that out of the way…..
How often do you get…..
…..a view from the inside?
Please listen below:
(Audio file duration: 10:00)
VASTLY different standards and treatment…..
…..for India and Pakistan over the last 75 years…..
…..tells you all you need to know…..
…..about U.S. “support for democracy“
There are roughly 200 MILLION MORE people “living under democracy” in India, than in the ENTIRE U.S. hegemonic bloc including the U.S. itself, the UK, Canada/Australia/NZ, all the EU and/or NATO countries, the Zelensky dictatorship, and Japan and South Korea. That the USA could never get along well with India… and, in fact, always took the side of India’s “problem child” neighbor, Pakistan… says a LOT. What’s the logic to this, what’s the history?
Folks…..
This is “sort-of” a follow-up…..
…..to my piece from two weeks ago…..
…..on the Pakistani Trump.
If you missed that…..
Please listen to it first, here:
(Audio file duration: 2:03)
Otherwise…..
Just proceed below…..
…..for a reasonably detailed history…..
…..of 75 years of U.S. preference…..
…..for Pakistan over India.
(Yes, yes, I know. Some of you folks are quite sharp, and you’d point out that I overlooked the Pakistan-China angle. Well, that’s a fairly new angle, and in any case, it’s obvious that Pakistan’s generals have kept the U.S. and China in a bidding war for influence.)
Please, enjoy:
(Audio file duration: 6:16)
PS: I didn’t mean to suggest that India has completely defeudalized. But it’s a LOT further along than Pakistan.
Dreizin takes another stand against crap artistry
Here’s to the good people who say:
The Chynavirus was obviously a Global Conspiracy because Klaus Schwab wants to shrink the population blah blah and Bill Gates’ foundation did a pandemic wargame at some point blah blah.
Look here…..
Geert Vanden Bossche…..
…..not well-known in the USA…..
…..but nonetheless…..
…..tied with Robert Mallone…..
…..for “world’s #1 anti-vaxxer who actually knows what he’s talking about”…..
…..WORKED FOR THE GATES FOUNDATION (!!!)…..
…..in 2008 to 2011…..
…..as its TOP VAKK-SEEN GUY.
Moreover…..
He claims to have still been in touch…..
…..with Gates PERSONALLY…..
…..(that is, in-person)…..
…..in 2021.
Vanden Bossche…..
…..has said NOTHING…..
…..about any conspiracy.
With respect to the vak-seenz…..
He has spoken of Gates…..
…..as a well-meaning person…..
…..who drank the kool-aid.
Period.
Respectfully…..
I’ll take his perspective…..
…..over some dude’s, thank you very much!
As for pandemic wargames…..
Things are gamed out all the time!
A few years ago…..
…..some institute…..
…..did a zombie virus simulation…..
…..to see how fast…..
…..the entire USA…..
…..would get zombified, LOL.
(Did they assume running zombies or shuffling zombies? Was the zombie virus actually spreading, or was it everywhere already, as in The Walking Dead? It seems to me, these questions are pertinent.)
In fact…..
Something like this…..
…..was even done…..
…..for entertainment…..
…..in the DVD “bonus feature”…..
…..to the Dawn Of The Dead remake (2004.)
Am I to assume…..
“They” are planning…..
…..a zombie plague?
Folks…..
The TRUTH about…..
…..the Chynavirus and the vakk-seenz…..
…..is SO MUCH MORE interesting…..
…..than the fantasy theories.
This was “the perfect storm“…..
…..AND…..
…..in retrospect…..
…..an UNAVOIDABLE train wreck…..
…..of modern, “for profit“…..
…..”democratic governance“…..
…..and…..
…..(referencing Dr. Fow-Chee and his projects)…..
…..bureaucratic self-rule…..
…..whereby the system became…..
…..a SELF-EATING CARICATURE…..
…..of itself.
Nothing more.
What really got us…..
…..was that…..
…..all the interests…..
…..that stood to benefit…..
…..(or at least, had to cover their own asses)…..
From Dr. Fow-Chee…..
…..and his revolving-door bureaucrats…..
…..to the teachers’ unions…..
…..to the drug companies…..
…..to the Democrats looking to “get Trump“…..
…..and, of course…..
…..(in many countries, not just the USA)…..
…..unimaginative, shitbag politicians…..
…..aiming to “protect“…..
…..and “save” their voters…..
…..(especially, gullible women and panicked oldsters)…..
…..were all…..
…..ALREADY HIGHLY ORGANIZED…..
…..whereas the “freedom crowd“…..
…..did not even EXIST…..
…..when the balloon went up.
So…..
Is it any surprise…..
…..as to who got the upper hand…..
…..and was able…..
…..to milk the situation?
No, it’s no surprise at all.
Look here, people…..
IT’S REALLY THAT SIMPLE!!!
What’s also simple…..
…..is giving me some money…..
…..and following me on Twitter.
Uncle Dreizin Wants YOU!
If you haven’t already, please sign up to my damn MAILING LIST! All this means, is that you’ll get my blog posts, in your email. I DO NOT mass-send anything but that. Please enter your email address, in the box below.
Comments Policy
I really appreciate good comments. Many people come back here, in-between posts, just to read the comments. If you help me entertain them, you’re my hero. A few rules: This is not a chat board. Your comment must primarily, largely involve and directly touch upon something that, or someone whom, I wrote about in the post you’re commenting on. Life reminiscences (if relevant), relating your relevant personal experiences, your job, your commie college girlfriend, your idiot family members, your Ukrainian coworker, etc., if relevant, are all HIGHLY encouraged. The most interesting content here… is YOU. The only exceptions to the on-topic requirement, are if you’re calling attention to a technical problem with the site, or briefly stating how much you love the content or this Comments Policy. Don’t try to “legitimize” an off-topic comment by throwing in some little pre-thought or afterthought about what I wrote. NO DISCUSSIONS THAT STRAY FROM MY TOPICS. My topics are the only common denominator here, and while it may amuse you, most readers have no interest in your thoughts on the Punic wars, or on some guy named Serge, or on how much you generally / generically don’t like the Ukraine and Zelensky; it’s your way to kill your own time, but it adds no value for others. Which means, if you’re responding to someone else’s comment, your response must still relate directly to one of my topics. Doesn’t matter how much you generously donated, these rules apply equally to everyone. 350 word limit, no exceptions, 351 words won’t be published, sorry. No rambling. If you’re not sure what “rambling” is, ask yourself, “Are others likely to understand and appreciate or enjoy my comment, or am I merely jerking off“? Nazis, commies, worshipful groupies of Mercouris/Johnson/etc., Jew baiters/haters, FBI agents-provocateurs, guys who forgot to take their Ritalin, passive-aggressive needling of the sysop or of other commenters (to include, by dipshits who think their attitude will fly if they mention possibly maybe potentially giving me money at some point—yes, “you people” are all the same), random questions that have no bearing on what I wrote (to include requests for my view on some commentator I’ve never heard of), no-punctuation writing by the smartphone generation, silly “Nadsat” lingo picked up from “The Saker” website, use of the BS term “SMO“, ALL CAPS writing (a sure sign of untreated autism), obsessives who just can’t leave a topic alone after they’ve already said everything (and just want to repeat themselves), and autistic bitching about the satanic USA and its evil pedo pervert elites and how they must be killed (or other bile in that vein), will not be tolerated. If you’ve got issues, this is not your “let it go” zone. Don’t write anything here, that your therapist wouldn’t approve of.
My understanding of why the United States sought Pakistan as an ally after the partition was that the Indian National Congress was Marxist/socialist and people in Washington thought that the US had more in common with Pakistan because Islam is an Abrahamist religion, unlike Hinduism.
I don’t know what’s going on with Twitter. Musk has stated that no one understands the algos so they are working to replace them. So the shadowbanning may not be deliberate. It’s hardly a free speech platform though. A lot of banned accounts were reinstated after Musk took over. That’s good, but Twitter continues to ban people just for having an opinion -no objective violation of rules.
Twitter is very hit and miss in what they post in your feed and especially now that they put more suggested stuff in that your actual follows. I keep my follows to a minimum because otherwise you get pure crap.
Having worked in higher education (public) for a good bit and also the private sector, both in IT, I think the bloat is much worse in government but still an issue in the private sector. I think it is just a function of time. When a company starts, it is lean and you start with the best you can afford. As you start to grow, you need to start adding more bodies. If you grow faster than you can properly vet people, you tend to end up with people you hired because you could do slightly more with more bodies, but not as efficient as it could be. You have about 15-20% doing 50% of the work. This is also a problem I see policing running into in the near future. As they drive more people away from it, they are going to end up with shortages, which will need filled. They will lower the standards to try and fill the gaps. Once you let in the lower quality people, it will take a long time to weed them out, if you can at all.
I see all your tweets Dreizen, and always follow the link in your emails. They are mostly worth a look and listen. Cheers
Never see a single tweet
I do repost your content on Twitter
I’m surprised you never heard of bullshit jobs before, there’s even a book about them by David Graeber (2018). Bullshit jobs are everywhere, not just tech. Public/private, retail/industrial/commercial/financial etc. We need to stop drinking the libertarian-“free” market koolaid and realize the economy and society don’t work the way we were taught.
Hello. Your comment misses the point by a mile. No one ever denied that there are bullshit jobs. What’s shocking is to discover government-level inefficiency in a for-profit enterprise. And I doubt it was just Twitter, it could be all the flagships of the dotcom sector.
Since you took it easy on me I’m happy to buy you three coffees 🙂 I think we’re talking past each other a bit on this one, it just never surprises me to learn of people being paid for doing nothing, even on a huge scale, even in the “private” (sic) sector. I really enjoy your reporting and perspective please keep it up.
I think your description of BS jobs was perfect. It doesn‘t mean that those people are sitting at their computers doing private stuff. They can be busy and stressed as shit but as you say, if the job were axed, the organization wouldn‘t suffer or change
Democracy.
Have a guess how many Pakistan Prime Ministers have been toppled by the military or impeachment before finishing their elected term?
Answer, all of them. Not one Prime Minister has ever served an entire term.
Shit man, since I don’t put up the cash, I refrain from comments. BUT, with the:
“The TRUTH about…..
…..the Chynavirus and the vakk-seenz…..
…..is SO MUCH MORE interesting…..
…..than the fantasy theories.”
You hit the nail in the head! I understand that people need to make sense of this fucked up, chaotic world we live in. It is just unreal to me how many highly intelligent people have deluded themselves into believing some insane theories.
Everybody give way too much credit to the “elites”, truing to make them to be some dark conspiracy geniuses, while they are just brilliant in one, and fucking stupid in other fields, and thus, prone to fucking things up, like the rest of us.
This site is the ONLY place in the whole fucking internet one can find some genuine and reliable info, so call out to all who support this financially to continue doing that, it’s money well spent.
That being said, I ain’t giving you money, so don’t bother asking, HOWEWER if you can think of any other way to help and/or support you, just ask, will be happy to oblige. It truly would be fucking shame for this place to shut down.
Hi Jacob…..its been a minute. Couple things I have for you tonight……………………………………………………………………
Deleted, please see my comments policy.
Hello Mr. Dreizen
As always, fantastic analysis.
If I may highlight few things for you to consider-
1) twitter algorithm heavily relies on engagement. I could see that it’s missing for your profile. It involves – retweeting, comments etc. shadow ban is possible since twitter still has some staff like that (recent “what is a woman” premier controversy leading to some firing of staff might have told you that)
2) about India – correct. Indian leadership was still British mangers but with their own agency as they wanted their rule aka had some aspirations of their own that led to that. India had no problems participating in CIA sponsored insurgents in Tibet in 59 and host their “gov in exile” – Dalai Lama. Helped in Sino-India split.
3) Pakistan is key to de-stabilise Iran, India, China’s BRI and cut of Saudis access to Pakistani nukes & military.
4) 1992 Paul wolfowitz doctrine tells India that after Russia & China, its us. Harvard has many “breaking India” programs where BLM kind movement is being nurtured against Indian “caste” based system – complex.
5) 2023 Munich security conference – Soros has pledged $1 billion to topple current Indian Gov. openly that led to Indian NSA flying to Moscow to meet with Mr. Putin.
few more things but wouldn’t want to write a long essay.
As always – thank you
Agree to 1) especially. Sr. Dreizin needs to provoke accounts that are bigger than him. Think about it, if AOC quote tweeted him he would blow up instantly. There’s a non zero chance of that bringing down the entire global system.
It’s also a huge time sink and it sounds like he’s already working 2.5 jobs…
Sorry but this is how chasing clout works (if you want to keep your shirt on)
One of the most stupid conspiracies I’ve heard (once and again) is the one saying that “the Zionists” are behind the Pandeemik and Vakseen chaos… C’mon, Israel was one of the first countries in the world to mrna-inject its own people! And one of the biggest pushers too.
As for the topic of falsely-injected personalities, mentioned in some comments below, the most prominent (proven) case that comes to mind is that of Spanish pharma president José María Fernández Sousa:
https://tapnewswire.com/2022/06/big-pharma-president-caught-with-a-fake-vaccine-passport/
But I agree: of course Gates has taken it. He’s the greatest believer in his own words! I bet he also thinks he’s helping feed the poor people of the world, and future generations, by buying as much land as possible and creating a renewed feudal system on the entire planet (the topic of India comes to mind, and a very interesting discussion by Vandana Shiva and RFK Jr. on Gates and Monsanto, but I’ll stop now, cause I digress…)
For now I’m gonna give Musk a break. He did undo the stupid regarding Matt Walsh and his movie. The man does have a good deal on his plate and at least such screwups are often fixed and hell the woman responsible “quit” as soon as the “mistake” was corrected. Sure beats the Dorsey and his immediate followers days leading Twitter.
None of the bs at Twitter ever effected me. I signed up and managed to last MAYBE half an hour as a Twit member. What is the appeal? Nobody has a real life?
I am a twitter follower but, have not seen you in my feed. That doesn’t necessarily mean anything. I have notifications on for a LOT of people. I have liked everything except maybe the last two weeks.
Jacob, I seem to get all your tweets. And next month I should be able to start paying “the widow’s mite” for your outstanding content.
Twitter Update: Uncle Elon must read this because about two hours after my last comment about not seeing your twitter posts, they came flooding into my “Following” tab. (I never read my “For you” tab on principle.) It was about the same time Uncle E apologized for blocking the “What is a Woman” video followed by the resignation of Ella Irwin. So maybe her really is shaking things up at twitter. But I still wouldn’t trust the guy as far as I could throw him….21111
“Musk is something like a fraud” – ??!! Thank you, but — Elon’s “Twitter Files” censorship have disclosed exponentially bigger criminals than Watergate.
GEC disinformation centers cancer was created by still “Saint” Obama and his executives of State Security agencies– many of whom are now highly paid “consultants” to corporate, that is, state fascist media.
Elon Musk is a miracle that happens once in a century.
He single-handedly unmasked the murderous and deeply corrupt US War party – with Twitter Files (J6 choreographed hoax, Russia-gate immense 5-year hoax, has broken total media censorship of terrorist US attack on NATO member Germany and of Covid conspiracy with Pfizer crime organization, of massive crimes by Nazi-dominated Ukraine government which is a mere puppet of US bipartisan War party, etc.).
Elon Musk immense courage and humanity is fully displayed by his one single three-word tweet: Free Jacob Chansley https://t.co/8BbeXF2Fye
https://www.racket.news/p/report-on-the-censorship-industrial-74b — INVALUABLE !!!
CIC (Censorship Information Complex) is funded by unlimited amount of money. Some of the accomplishments include:
– Biden election “win”
– Destroyed Ukraine
– Fascism that “protects ‘our’ democracy”
Thanks to Elon, Matt and the courageous team for the incredible, courageous and invaluable effort on Twitter Files!! One can only imagine censorship horrors (a la Twitter Files) that are still ongoing and hidden at Facebook, YouTube, and elsewhere.
We are currently ruled by totally corrupt criminals who are also main global terrorists. Let’s focus on the prize and not on “shortcomings” of Elon…
Boris,
I understand you’re a grown adult, but all your comments seem like they are written by a 15 year-old. It’s just annoying, man. You seem strangely excitable, almost manic, lacking in depth, and prone to hero-worship. I’m most likely on the autism spectrum as well, not as far as you, but seriously man, do you talk like this at home or work? I doubt it.
Questions for you:
(1) Why am I still shadowbanned?
(2) Why does Twitter shadowbanning still exist at all?
As a businessman who is perpetually dependent on state subsidies or contracts for one or another (or all) of his businesses…..
…..(literally NOTHING the guy has ever established, has stood and was intended to stand wholly or even largely on its own from its inception)…..
…..Musk has abandoned the Democrats and bet on the Republicans, and is obviously focused on giving the latter the “shock” headlines and narratives they need…..
…..while continuing the little-guy mass suppression that was put in place under Dorsey.
Perhaps, because, ultimately, he wants to leave the option of control for the long term? After all, who knows where he will be, politically, in five or 10 years? And in that context, why simply give up those algorithms and that expertise?
Musk is in it for Musk.
His recent political “awakening” is purely situational.
He plays all sides. In fact, with the Ukraine/Starlink matter, he’s been playing both sides AT THE SAME TIME. It’s just amazing to watch.
I’m not an American, so it’s not my business what happens in your domestic politics. But at least Musk seems to be smarter than Biden, Clinton, Blinken or Nuland. Ok, as a politician (maybe president) he wouldn’t change much, but at least he wouldn’t make the situation worse like Biden, and it would be fun. But if I think more about it, I should have a say about your domestic politics. Romania is a US colony, so we want our right to vote in your elections!
Please feel free to participate in our farce.
You may not consider American domestic politics your business, but American domestic politics considers you its business.
I follow you on Twitter and you DO show up in my feed. I’m a very passive user there if it makes a difference. I drop likes but never post.
The British used the Indian Muslims, a minority, as their bureaucratic class to control the Hindu majority. This is the oldest trick in the book, just as the Christian Copts in Egypt are used to control the majority Muslims, not to mention here. It’s no wonder the US followed suit with supporting Pakistan.
I have Twitter set to send me all notification from your account bun i never got one…I go there after i receive my mail notification…
I come from a part of the country that had a lot of Polish-Americans (Slavic people in general) when I was growing up. There was a part of town where many of them lived. It was always well-kept and clean, even for people of modest means. I assume Poland is clean and well-kept. Maybe someone who knows can comment.
What happened to Ukraine??
The least productive or ambitious stayed in Ukraine. Of course, where there is much corruption the people are less inclined to pay taxes or agitate for government to do it’s job
Poland is indeed pretty clean and well kept, at least for a country emerging from communism and earlier disasters. On occasional visits I would stay a night after landing in a hotel at a purely blue collar former mining community (so. No big apple, not a tourist attraction) and each morning, even at winter, you could see the shopkeepers, housewives, elderly single residents, stepping out with a broom or paint brush, and engaging in small maintenance works. Lithuania is pretty much the same.
I was starting to have a panic attack from too much to do and not enough time, and then I logged on and saw Heeeeeeeyyyyyyyy folks – and suddenly, I have a smile back on my face and am balanced again. TGIF! Jacob!
Spring of 2019 I visited Belgorod for the first time.
On the highway leaving Kharkov the villages in the Ukrainian countryside were ramshackle and run-down. Houses and barns and farm equipment were dilapidated and in need of paint and repair. The windows were dirty or broken.
Crossing the border into Russia I was surprised to see a marked difference. The houses were all freshly painted. The windows were all so spotlessly clean I began to wonder if this was just some sort of Potemkin village facade, but this highway from Kharkov to Belgorod is rarely traveled by tourists – foreigners rarely come to this part of Russia.
My Ukrainian driver, Dima, was a proud native of Kharkov and competitive about his city being superior to anything Russia might have to offer. When I remarked how amazingly clean all the windows of the Russian houses in the country were, Dima said these were just the more expensive houses on the good side of town. But I never saw any houses that were not extremely clean. And these were not expensive homes, just middle class small homes which were tidy and well cared for. In Kharkov there are very nice homes for the rich, and tawdry homes for the poor.
But Dima thought Russia was inferior. The land was beautiful rolling farmland with deciduous trees clustered in copses around the water courses – very much like Dallas. Dima said “look, they hardly have any trees – it is all agriculture!”
Agriculture indeed. We passed numerous farms with large brightly painted metal barns. Several of these modern farms had storage depots of what appeared to be new farm machinery with row upon row of neatly parked combines, tractors, etc. This country was not in any way backwards or economically depressed. and clearly doing much better than the Ukraine.
As we drove into the outskirts of Belgorod, Dima said there was really nothing much here. Just a small uninteresting town with nothing to offer.
However I soon saw that Belgorod was a better kept city even than Kharkov, whose lovely City Center is immaculate, but whose sleeping districts are dirty and run down. Not so Belgorod. Everywhere I went I saw a thriving, happy city.
You don’t realize how unhappy most Americans are until you visit a Russian city. The men walk as though they are proud to be a man – to have a job, a wife, a child or two. What more could a man ask? The women have much better taste than American women. They are better dressed. They know how to wear just the right amount of makeup and how to be sexy without looking slutty. and they do not mind if you look at them, they like to be looked at. in America if you look at a woman she will scowl and either pointedly ignore you or cross the street to avoid you. Our women are angry and afraid.
But at least our LBGTQ and three letter government agencies are thriving. and my Rayetheon stock has done quite well this century.
Hahahah. Thanks. I will probably re-print this in its entirety, for my next post. You may feel free to violate my Comments Policy word limit, anytime. As long as it’s on-topic.
thanks!
Great post.
Thanks for this first hand perspective. While I’m not personally invested in the RU-UA conflict, I’d very much like to see the globohomo forces of US/UK/EU/NATO defeated only because I hope it might be a catalyst for meaningful and long overdue change and course correction in the West and especially in my home country. However, I have long been fascinated with Russia and read a lot about its history and culture over the years. More recently, I followed with great interest both the Sochi Winter Olympics and World Cup of soccer as those events seemed to me an effort by Russia at a coming-out party (the traditional non-gay version) on the world stage and achieve some respect from the West. I watched a lot of footage from both events (less the actual sporting events and more about the venues, organization and host cities themselves). It was impressive and left me with a strong desire to see Russia firsthand at some point notwithstanding the consistently negative reporting from so much Western media at the time )dismissive, cynical and contemptuous).
I’ve never gotten a good answer as to why there seems to be a desire in West to antagonize Russia.
Totally off-topic, but, very well written, you get a pass this time. Please see my Comments Policy.
I’ve met a couple Ukrainians, coincidentally just like Dima. “You shouldn’t ever visit Russia, they don’t even have toilets, running water or sealed roads”.
Sorry, I can’t help you on Twitter, as I have been actually banned on the Musk free speech platform, for speaking freely, and I got the ax after Musk took over. Musk – another well meaning billionaire whose take-over of the ridiculously overpriced company has been less than (dare I say it?) stellar. It’s fascinated to me to compare what the western state run media is saying about the War and what is actually happening. If you’re an in the tank fool and get your war news only from state run media, you’d think Russia is on the verge of surrender. I hear as of this morning some Russian sources are claiming they’ve succeeded in taking out all the Patriot batteries in Ukraine – we’ll see if that’s true soon enough. I agree the Chinese Virus was not a vast conspiracy, just a golden opportunity for cynical, Evil opportunists. Party in dude!
That’s a good way of summarizing the point of Jacob’s explanation of the Chyna Vyrus phenomenon: An assortment of opportunists taking advantage of their opportunity.
It’s a good way to make sense of a lot of things we see go on in societies.
Hi Jacob,
Hope you are fine. Being part of corporate America I completly understand you. Thanks for sharing the perspective from the public sector.
For private companies there was a book written by David Graeber in which Is called: Bullshit Jobs, in which he writes about what you mentioned for the dead weight in companies.
Basically one of the premises of his book Is that in order to surveil the dead weight you need more dead weight.
I dont like Elon too much, not a single friend of mine uses twitter. May be my dad, thats all.
Exactly. The public sector needs bees, bee watchers, bee watcher watchers and bee watcher watcher watchers
I’m a bit confused as to what ppl mean when referring to the “private sector”. Twitter is a public company, it went public November 2013. (NYSE: TWTR) There is a huge difference between actual private companies and publicly traded companies, especially with management and productivity and each have different sets of rules to follow, or lack of. As David Graeber and others pointed out, 20% of the ppl do 80% of the work can easily be applied to most publicly traded co. Not so much with smaller private companies. That’s based on my personal experience working for dozens of companies in both sectors.
With US government spending at over 20% of GDP, tax codes, laws, and regulations, it is difficult to argue that the US really has a private sector in which behavior is almost entirely explained by people producing things that they hope to freely trade for things produced by other people.
Other incentives are at work, leading to behaviors in the so-called “private sector” that mirror what Jacob sees in government.
Twitter is no longer a publicly traded company. It was taken private after Elon bought it.
Gates and the other elites are obviously naive suckers. If they planned the entire thing, including the “global depopulation genocide” or whatever, why did they themselves take the shot? Biden even broadcasted it, if I recall correctly, not to mention Fetterman, who got the “shot” and the “clot”, quite literally.
The “story” is, they didn’t REALLY take the shot.
Have you already covered this somewhere?
Elites get a piece of paper stating they took the shot. Big difference! Lol…u think a guy like Tom Brady, US football athlete/QB (for non-Americanos) took the shot? No he has a piece of paper from his doctor stating he took the shot!
Sorry, that’s just dumb. Tom Brady is in no “elite” that anyone on this blog is concerned with. You are conflating younger, super-healthy, pro sports guys with (for example) Bill Gates and other West Coast kool-aid drinkers who surely, in their majority, got the shots, at least the initial shots if not the boosters.
Word is that none of Gates kids have ANY vaxs. Of course no way to verify this, but if true, then Gates is in fact, not a well meaning opportunist
“Word is” you shouldn’t believe everything you hear on Youtube.
Yes there is at least one person getting you in their Twitter feed, apart from your Mummy – in France ironically, that bastion of the free press and human rights, where RT and Rumble are banned.
Indian in US here… Have struggled along with most Indians figuring out why Uncle Sam prefers hanging out with Abdul than with Kumar. I mean for crying out loud we had universal franchise(voting rights for everyone) since day 1, much before all black people got it in the US.
The way I see it, in addition to what Jacob said, the reason why the US deep state always preferred Pakistan at India’s expense was because Pak is also run by a deep state.
Its much easier and fruitful to work with the permanent custodians than with the temporary management. Democracy talk is a hogwash.
What will the US/Nato fleet do when China releases literally thousands of missiles within minutes to destroy them? Further, with this advantage I imagine the enemy’ will produce fast and light (relative to large surface) submarines and surround the US coast or at least large coastal cities.
Yet they keep yelling about more war.
As for the vyyrus and lokked downz, this will go down to history as the most massive f-up that broke western dominance.
I agree with Jacob and you about the vulnerability of the US navy. It’s hard to fathom that the US military planners have not long seen this themselves. Could they have something up their sleeves?

Aside from the personal impact of having a large part of the armed forces of the Empire of which I am a citizen being so vulnerable, there is another personal impact of this situation that maybe some other readers share.
I am the father of two late teens whom I have somewhat spoiled and so who are somewhat immature and adrift. I think of the Navy as an option that would provide them opportunities for personal growth in many ways. While this may be true so long as the navy is not in combat with a modern adversary, they would be in floating coffins if it was. So maybe not a good option after all.
Regarding your twitter. Twitter doesn’t push links to other sites. At least that’s how I understand it.
Twitter wants the content posted on Twitter… or at least a portion of it. Twitter makes money off engagement on twitter… so if people are just clicking links that take them somewhere else then there’s nothing in it for twitter. So I’ll recommend posting your articles in twitter or at least a summary. Something that people can read and like and share and engage with, on Twitter. Not just links to your page. That will almost certainly get no traction
I have spent my career helping companies cut both internal and external costs. Removing 75% of headcount from any organisation in total while still performing the same role (especially in private sector) is beyond what I have seen.
However, we do usually find paradoxically that very ambitious cost savings are easier than marginal ones. The reason is that ambitious savings targets of 30%+ force you to remove whole chunks of activity and drive focus whereas marginal savings end up as a negotiation process that executives usually manage to kill. Additionally, I have seen 50%+ reductions in overhead type costs in the private sector after ownership changes. This is when the new owner is aggressive. Removing executives and back / middle office roles is particularly easy if you have the appetite and can face the perceived risk! Their roles all conform to Parkinson’s Law of expanding the work to fill the time. Much energy spent is busy politicking with each other and most businesses can chug along with very little oversight in reality. The people concerned are good people typically but they behave as incentivized by the business.
It seems as though only a fraction of Twitter’s cost base (even engineers) was devoted to real activity associated with the platform. If so, that would conform to many modern organizations beyond tech: for example in a typical manufacturer these days only a small fraction of the employees are typically blue collar process staff. But they are the ones who usually get cut! Sounds as if Elon Musk has been very smart in buying a bloated organisation that can now make money for him.
Re: the bureaucracy problem. I believe this happens in the private sector more than one would think.
Anecdote of a do-nothing bureaucracy at a rail car manufacturing company:

Speaking of Russia rebuilt, take a look at this YouTube site where before and after shots of Russian cities are shown. Not just one, but plenty: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2-cpkTgK12dY1vkRwmsdDB0Ut37HfE8Q It’s all in Russian but you’ll get the idea.
Or do a search for what’s been done in Mariupol in the year since it was liberated.
Or just Google “Russian bridges built in the past 10 years” and go to the images link. Proves that all that oil revenue hasn’t been pissed away on vodka and artillery shells. Not too bad for a gas station with nukes masquerading as a country. Oh McCain, you screwed up again.
Can’t believe that such things aren’t known to our “elites” (let alone in the digital age). Anyway, they cling ardently to their heartwarming picture of desolate Gorbachev Yeltsin Rrussia stuck in 1990s mud. With all dire consequences this delusion has for us ALL.
Same with China. What they’ve accomplished in the past 10 years is also impressive. The Three Gorges Dam and high speed rail are just two examples. What have we accomplished in that same time frame? I’m drawing a blank.
I have yet to see you come up on my twitter feed and I think I have been following your twitter since you set it up.
Looks like you probably have been shadow banned.
The propulsion of the patriot falling out of the sky may be feature. The patriot doesn’t run into the other missile. It just gets close and then the warhead fires a cloud of shrapnel to bring down the other missile. So it may leave the propulsion part in tact to fall our of the sky.
“The patriot doesn’t run into the other missile. “
The PAC-3 is marketed to be “direct hit” (saying from armchair) – but also most missiles have a self destruct mechanism…
Therefore AS AN EDUCATED GUESS those missile could have missed their target, exploded the self-destruct and then the rocket part fell down.
Also the Czechs sent some Kub (SA-6, not to be confused with SA-11 or SA-17 Buk) batties, which are ANCIENT. Wiki says they were manufactured between 1968 and 1985.
We can expect those to show up in such spectacular videos. Speaking of it, I guess Russia escalated, since previous attacks usually came at night, when most civvies aren’t on the street (at home or in shelters).
That’s true of most systems, but not the PAC-3 specifically. The PAC-3 is a hit-to-kill missile, because it’s supposedly more effective against incoming threats with submunitions, like MIRVs or whatever Uncle Sam is dreaming about intercepting with it.
Hasn’t Pakistan been getting a lot of Russian gas and oil on favorable terms? Russia should cut them off if Pakistan is making shells for the Ukraine.
Russia contracted for gas and oil with Imran Khan’s govt, as well as wheat (always welcome in a country of cca. 250 million).
But Putin seems to play the long game and sticking to be the image of reliable business partner.
So as to air defense. The patriot is ancient. But this is hardly the only trick up Uncle Sam’s sleeve. This is not secret, but few people speak about it. Just Google the Airborne Laser project. In fact, Russia announced it had its own at the start of the war – I wonder why?
The navy also knows and has known for a long time, it has no surface survivability in a real war. It is just for beating up and projecting power to places like Libya.
As far as recruitment. Much of the recruitment to navy and other armed forces these days are foreign nationals being promise citizenship. Even rumors and videos of training camp being setup along the Texas border. Can’t confirm that, but the citizen videos are popping up.
Hello. About any “training camps”, that’s nonsense; sorry. Yes, there’s an accelerated path to citizenship for people on various visas, if they enlist. I don’t *think* Uncle Sam has yet made it all the way down the list to illegal aliens. But, if he has, there’s still no “training camps” on the border. It would be basic training, same as any other soldier, marine, etc.
This Airborne Laser? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_YAL-1 Sounds like a total (cancelled) fiasco. Might as well hit the Russkies with the “rods from God” – the theorized “kinetic weapon” where we drop 20 foot long, one foot in diameter tungsten rods from space. Maybe if we ask nicely, the Russians will help us launch them into orbit. The US military is always announcing cockamamie schemes. We could strap bombs onto turkeys and send them off toward them Russkies.
Ah, the old Airborne Laser program. I well remember it. The derelict hulk of the 747 test aircraft sat out here on a remote parking ramp for years before they finally hauled it off to the dump. A couple of the alphabet agencies test and operate various ground-based laser devices in these here parts. On the ground or in the air they require a huge power source and atmospheric stuff like clouds inconveniently get in the way of the beam. I doubt that Uncle Sugar has any particular tricks up his sleeve in this respect (people have a lot of funny ideas about our ABM capabilities), but let’s hope we don’t have to find out.
Oh yes, fex the Navy developed and some years ago made the Mk57 VLS working, which would be able to use more advanced and powerfull missiles, than the current Mk41 “Strike lenght”.
Or the rumors that ships sail out half of those Mk41 EMPTY.
And adding insult to injury, there was the scandal just last year that for about 30 years the submarine alloy tests were forged. So the underwater component’s capability is also unclear to even the Navy.
This is just three examples of what I got from my armchair in Central Europe, from a landlocked country.
