As much as GLOBOHOMO wants to cut Russia down to size, it doesn’t want some bloody lunatic in charge over there, the sort of nightmare Russian coup-leader depicted in 1990s films such as GoldenEye and The Saint.
Knowing that I still have some readers in Russia (perhaps no longer any opinion leaders, but who knows?), I will write below, just FWIW, what everyone there is AFRAID to say. Even Strelkov won’t say it quite so densely, in one post.

И не делает его борцом, за чего-либо.
То, что есть люди в России, кто считает его борцом за чего-либо (в том числе, против коррупции!!!), доказывает, что Русские могут быть и такими же дураками, как и Англо-Саксы.
А еще, его Совет Командиров или как его там, это не Патриоты, а Транснациональная Корпорация или ОПГ, у них нет Родины. Сомневаетесь? А чё они в Беларусь уехали?
Как и генералы-частники эпохи поздней Римской Республики, Пригожин это борец за себя, и все.
И то, что его не сумели вовремя утихомирить, это полный провал Российской государственности.

There is some indication that the delightful ‘Gang of Eight’ in Congress were actually briefed on this ‘coup’ on Wednesday, 2 days prior to the actual event. There is also info that on the day of the event, there was a mini ‘exodus’ of some Russians flying out to Georgia (and that those airline tickets were 10x the normal rate, only to go back to normal after the ‘coup’ ended). If this is so, presumably Russian intelligence knew of these rumblings before the event. And while I’m not a military person, how was this coup supposed to succeed, where Wagner rides into Rostov (and eventually Moscow??) with only the weapons, food, supplies, etc, that they were able to carry? So much of this is questionable.

I would be not so sure really, what “Globohomo” or west leading/public figures want or not want. They seem o. k. with nearly every kind of destruction upon Russia now, absolutely ‘senseless’ terror stunts included, as the gloat over attacks on Bryansk, Byelgorod, Moscow recently showed (or the open regret, that Prig’s move last Fryday/Sunday not developed into a much greater bloodbath).

You are right. This should never have been able to happen in the first place. That it did is a failure of the state.
Having said that, we cannot gloat in the west (I know you are not doing that!), given our own internal issues. But our failures do not make what happened in Russia optimal either, of course.
Perhaps the Russian state will learn the lessons and act on them.

Yes, Globohomo wants every kind of destruction on Russia right now–the hope for a coup, any kind of coup, being the latest example.
The general idea is as follows:
1. “Globohomo” is a vast array of people and organizations that all have in common that they feed at the trough of the US empire (which is centered around the US federal government).
2. Globohomo wants to dump Russia into that trough. More to feed on.
3. To do so, they need to have a compliant Russian government.
4. To them, the best way to get that compliant government is to destroy Russians and Russia until its people and institutions capitulate and give Globohomo the kind of government it wants.
