Not clear yet, but culprits *MAY* have been local thugs recruited virtually by Ukrainian military intelligence (a common scenario), not “professionals.” Home must have been alarmed, cameras, etc., as Tsarev was a “known target.” Tsarev was shot, is in hospital in critical condition, it doesn’t sound good. As of right now, majority of Russian-language pundits or activists whom I follow(ed) on Telegram, have been killed or “attempted” by Ukrainian operatives.
