And now, “closer to home”…..

I lost over 10 percent of my total subscribers in just the second half of May 2025.

Also, the flow of new subscribers (including, as usual, some “re-subscribers”) has slowed to a trickle, from an unusually-high (many post-holiday-shopping re-subscribers) 17 in March 2025 (of whom 5 have unsubscribed), to 7 in April, to 4 in May—a record low, by far.

Well, that’s called a recession.  People are cutting out “nonessential expenses.”  The entire media space is being slammed.  And not just the news/views media, but all forms of media, even video/app games.  In fact, ESPECIALLY video/app games (the developers are laying off, left and right.  Hardly a weekday goes by, without some new layoff news in this sector.)

Also, a few days ago, I received an email from one of my biggest fans, a Serb living in Germany.  I had already noticed that he had not logged in for several weeks, so I figured that something was up.

Well, he asked to be unsubscribed… because he’s already cured and he thanks me so much, I pulled him out of depression but he’s cured so basically he doesn’t need me anymore, so, thank you, genius Doctor Dreizin.

It sounds like I am a victim of my own success, LOL.

BUT… I figure that he would, nonetheless, not have been so quick to unsubscribe (some people don’t log in for MONTHS, and still pay me), if the economy was doing better, you know?

In that context…..

Please note, it is the beginning of a new month, and thus, it’s BuyMeACoffee time.  The fourth go-round.

The first two months were encouraging, I was optimistic.  In the second month, I actually did a little better than the first.  I figured, perhaps it was an upward trajectory. Then, the third month fell off, coming in even lower than the first.  Just from memory, I think I had only around 15 donors.  That is pathetic.

Well, now, it’s the fourth month, and I have set a goal to collect at least 2.5X of what I collected last month, AND for this sum to reflect at least 2.5X of last month’s donor count.

Until both of these conditions are met, I won’t publish anything.

Of course, this is not directed to those who already gave, even just five dollars. (And, a HUGE THANK YOU to those very few who have already donated, yesterday or earlier today, without being reminded.)

But I know that approximately half of you can afford to give more (some, even much more) than the $19.50/month paywall fee.

Yes, if I raised the fee, it would go past the psychological “I can hold one $20 bill in my hand” barrier, and I’d lose the other half. But, not nearly all of you are legit, for-real broke.  A LOT of complacent, stingy mazahfahkoos out there.

Well, fuck that. Look, this is the world’s best content.  The volume of research that goes into this, is amazing. 

To get past the superficial, “marketing” junk outside of its paywall, Peak Prosperity charges at least $360/year, depending on the “package”… for total BS, just pure opinion and made-up nonsense.  Meanwhile, David Rosenberg charges up to $1000 per quarter (3 months), to tell you, most recently, that it’s looking more like we might possibly enter a recession later this year, LOL.

Well, I don’t want to be taken advantage of.  I don’t have to do this, I could spend more time with my kids.

So, yes, you’re paying your monthly $19.50, but I need more people to step up and volunteer to pay more.  Call it a shakedown, whatever, I don’t care anymore.  It’s the Age of Trump, and shakedowns are back in style!!!
