Over the months…..
Many readers have asked…..
Why Russian air power has played only a limited role in this conflict.
Clearly, Russian manned aircraft have been largely limited…..
…..to frontline “fire support” roles.
They have seldom penetrated deeper…..
…..to attack enemy convoys, trains, railheads, field headquarters, etc.
(And when they have, it has often not gone well.)
(Yes, Russia has cruise missiles, but these can only do so much. They are usually ineffective against moving targets, and are limited to around 500kg of explosive payload, while one SU-24 attack jet can lift at least six 250kg bombs… multiple times per day… and pursue moving targets, such as convoys and trains.)
This surely is not what people expected of a modern war…..
Not after watching the USA bomb various Arabs and Afghans…..
…..since 1991.
(Of course, those slobs did not inherit a huge, multi-layered air defense capability from the USSR.)
It seems even more strange…..
…..when you consider that, in numerical terms…..
…..Ukrainian air defense is only a fraction of what it was at “the beginning.”
The answer to this “mystery“…..
…..is that since the initial pummeling…..
…..the remaining Ukrainian systems…..
…..have been, are being hugely “force multiplied“…..
…..by foreign powers.
For all you civilians…..
Welcome to the “force multiplier” concept.
Probably by way of communicating…..
…..with Starlink terminals at regional air defense HQ’s…..
…..the U.S. and UK provide real-time data…..
…..on the launch and subsequent trajectory…..
…..of Russian aircraft (as well as cruise missiles)…..
…..thus, allowing the Ukraine to keep its radars off—”invisible”—over 95 percent of the time.
Then, its air defense batteries can turn on their radars…..
…..for acquisition and targeting purposes…..
…..once Russian aircraft or missiles are almost on top of them (relatively speaking.)
You see, active radars are the “giveaway” to locating and destroying enemy air defenses.
Russia flies electronic warfare aircraft inside its old borders and over Belarus, to detect enemy radar activity.
During the occasional cruise missile swarm…..
…..it can sometimes (only sometimes) detect such activity and destroy a few air defense targets.
Otherwise…..
The U.S./UK assistance has largely blocked this avenue.
Just another form of Ukraine assistance…..
…..that the war-whore, state agent MSM never told you about…..
…..because it hasn’t been “cleared” to do so.
Obviously, without this help…..
Hundreds of Russian planes and helicopters…..
…..would strafe and bomb roads and rails 24/7 throughout the Ukraine…..
…..deciding or even ending the war, within a month.
Instead, we have large Ukrainian convoys and rail shipments…..
…..being brought to within 10 kilometers of the front line….
…..and Russia can’t do anything…..
…..unless it has perfect intel in advance…..
…..after which it can bring to bear its own “HIMARS” type, precision MLRS.
The one remaining problem for the Ukrainian side…..
…..is that it doesn’t have nearly enough air defense missile launchers…..
…..to deal with Russian cruise missile “wave” attacks…..
…..but, these attacks are typically against fixed targets…..
…..such as munitions dumps and infrastructure…..
…..NOT forces in the field, or hardware on the move.
Russia might have some tricks in the works, but until then…..
…..barring a mass, one-off suicide mission…..
…..to ferret out and destroy the Ukraine’s entire air defense spectrum…..
…..or the introduction of new drones…..
…..or larger quantities of long-range attack drones…..
.….(their shortage being a major Russian weakness)…..
…..Russia’s air force and army aviation will remain limited…..
…..to a frontline combat support role.
The Kidnappers
Brandon gave a speech in Poland…..
…..and I read, he repeated the conspiracy theory talking points……
……(likely coming from the Ukraine’s Washington, DC PR firm)……
…..about Russia stealing Ukro-brats.
Again, he said this from POLAND.
Some of you already see, where I’m going with this.
Prior to 2014…..
Poland was becoming DEPOPULATED through emigration.
Probably one-fifth to one-quarter of the working population…..
…..was employed… in another country.
I lived in west London, UK in 2009-2010.
At the time…..
ALMOST ALL hotel workers…..
…..front desk, room service, events/catering, everything…..
…..and HALF the construction workers…..
…..in the greater London area…..
……were Polish.
One time, on a near-empty train…..
…..a lonely young Polish lady offered herself to me.
The city was straight crawling with Poles.
Then…..
Thanks to Nuland handing out cookies on the Maidan…..
…..(for squares or people in the Ozarks, I’m referring to the U.S.-backed, 2014 coup in Kiev)…..
…..Poland got a new lease on life.
Several million Ukrainian citizens showed up.
First, it was young people…..
…..coming to pick apples and do other farmwork…..
…..(a huge boost to Polish farm export volumes and competitiveness)…..
…..and other manual/menial labor.
(The famous “Ukrainian toilet scrubbers.”)
Then came specialists and tradesmen…..
…..with their spouses and, often, children.
(Or, their children were born in Poland.)
In 2022…..
At least another million and a half showed up…..
Most of them…..
Mothers with children.
(Generally, their men were trapped in the Ukraine, unless they could afford a large bribe.)
Today, many Polish cities and towns are HALF Ukrainian.
All the “new arrival” children…..
…..and all the pre-2022 children…..
…..are being educated as Poles.
It’s not hard, the languages are very similar.
(All so-called West and East Slavic “languages” are just dialects of each other.)
They are obviously NOT going back.
The Polish state DOES NOT WANT them to go back.
Almost NO ONE at all, is going back.
It’s like someone took 10 pints of blood…..
…..from the dying Ukraine…..
…..and injected it into Poland.
(Meanwhile, Germany hopes to replenish itself with Arabs, Afghans, and Africans, LOL.)
Look, Ukro-American Fake News conspiracy theories / propaganda BS…..
…..can be good comedy.
But what’s this one, really?
It’s deflection.
But hey, what do you expect…..
…..from any speechwriter who’d agree to work for this guy:
To The MSM Journos
Folks, I got other topics, don’t want to get hung up on international affairs.
I’m just asking…..
…..of any MSM employees still reading me…..
Please, now, observe a moment of silence…..
For the ambulance crew of four…..
…..that was killed in Donetsk today…..
By a Ukrainian MLRS munition…..
…..(possibly, HIMARS-launched)…..
…..that was aimed on a “DOUBLE TAP” mission…..
…..against the target zone they (the crew) had been sent to aid.
Yes, you can’t WRITE about ANY civilian casualties…..
…..in Russian areas…..
…..(let alone, those caused by American weapons or munitions)…..
Because it’s TABOO.
(On “orders” direct or implied, you’ve ignored it, like deaf mutes, for a year.)
But at least, you can THINK about it.
Permanent Feature
I will repeat this in every future post…..
…..(except “headline only“, quickie posts)…..
…..until it’s no longer relevant…..
…..and/or we’re no longer here.
Assuming we make it to 2024, and have an election…..
The wonderful governor of Florida…..
Ron DeSantis…..
If elected President of the USA…..
Won’t do much of shit…..
…..other than get us into a war…..
…..with our supplier of everything.
That is, China.
Because that’s the track we’re on.
Trump tried to take the rivalry in an exclusively economic direction…..
But he was removed.
And now… THE CAKE IS BAKED.
Yes, I’m waiting for another pann-de-mmick…..
But the only strictly “political” issue now that matters…..
…..is how hard the U.S. will fight…..
…..and risk everything…..
…..(including, me and my family)…..
….to hold on to its Hegemony.
And… the “public” has no say in that.
Will NEVER have a say.
I can’t remember the last time the “public” had a say…..
…..on anything that really mattered.
Because we don’t fucking matter.
Anyone who plans to keep voting…..
…..(above the local/state level)…..
…..and legitimize U.S. Federal politics…..
…..and the destruction of their own country…..
…..and perhaps the world…..
…..is a “battered wife“…..
…..or just a FUCKING IDIOT.
“Bye, Felicia“
In a minute…..
I’ll get to “The Crisis Of Roman Religion.”
First…..
Even aside from any pending Locals activity…..
(I appreciate those who have signed on and even donated, without being asked. I really wasn’t expecting that. I have no content up there, yet.)
I now have over 310 wonderful donors, who…..
…..if they give recurringly…..
…..will be providing me with a very respectable, extra income.
Thereby, making all the late nights worthwhile.
You should join them right now.….
…..or at least…..
…..follow and like all my blog posts that get carried over to my Twitter.
(That’s not hard, people!!!)
If you can’t do that…..
…..then, sure, keep reading…..
…..(or not, I DO NOT CARE)…..
But if you don’t like something…..
Tough noogies!
I’m getting nothing from you…..
…..so, your unwanted, “expert” opinion…..
…..on how to run this blog…..
…..counts for SHIT.
I’ll always be telling you I’m awesome…..
…..and trolling you and pushing your buttons…..
…..and reminding you that Mercouris takes an hour…..
…..to say what he could in five minutes…..
…..because he’s a businessman…..
…..and he’s keeping you glued to his YouTube ads.
So, get used to it…..
…..and be the best kind of intestinal worm…..
The QUIET one.
PS: Mercouris takes an hour to say what he could in five minutes, because he’s a businessman and he’s keeping you glued to his YouTube ads.
The Crisis of Roman Religion
No offense…..
But, it seems most people missed my jokes…..
…..about Jesus destroying my “merch.”
Even after I included the entire film scene, later…..
Many still couldn’t get their heads around it.
I assume…..
…..a few tens of percent of my readers…..
…..consider themselves to be “Christian.”
But for many of them, it’s obvious…..
The Jesus story begins and ends with some Christmas presents in a stable.
Oh, and the Crucifixion.
That’s pretty much it.
Do I care?
No, to me it’s just a story.
With a number of holes.
Two different sections of the New Testament…..
…..hold radically different accounts of how Judas died.
Which one is true?
There are other logical problems, I won’t bore you.
There are also “moral” problems.
Perhaps some of this stuff is didactic, not literal. I don’t know.
But, the account of the rich couple being killed (by God)…..
…..in the Jerusalem commune…..
…..because they didn’t want to hand over ALL their wealth, to the group…..
…..is creepy…..
…..and suggestive of a cult.
(Kind of goes against “God is Love”….. and, forget about “Prosperity Gospel.” Joel Osteen is nuts!)
Look…..
I DO NOT mock anyone…..
…..or look down on any Believers.
I am just talking about MYSELF…..
…..and what I can believe.
I once tried to see if I could open my mind…..
…..and believe this Faith…..
…..but the textual material…..
…..was so contrary to my critical thinking and historical common sense…..
…..it was just not possible.
If you’re NOT born into it…..
…..and you’re a “thinking” person, not some peasant…..
…..it is VERY difficult to embrace.
I’m NOT talking about being “born again” within a sect…..
…..or from one sect to another.
I’m talking about coming from a non-Christian family…..
…..and “making the plunge” from a zero point.
It is VERY hard to do.
Especially, in a “free” society…..
…..without ANY outside social pressure.
(In fact, we’ve got pressure in the opposite direction, LOL.)
HOWEVER…..
It is… at least… a GREAT story!
And, it’s the ONLY firm commonality…..
…..within so-called “Western civilization.”
And, in the “white” countries…..
It’s obviously GOING AWAY.
Believers and non-believers agree…..
…..the reason Christianity survived and flourished…..
…..was that it found fertile ground among non-Jews…..
…..at a time of shocking sophistication…..
…..among urbanites within the Roman Empire…..
…..many of whom, were no longer inspired…..
…..by humanoid gods…..
…..with their personality issues, sexcapades, family quarrels.
Also, unlike some other salvation sects of the time…..
…..the early Church did not limit its initiations…..
…..to some magic cave somewhere…..
…..and was NOT shy about embracing anyone, anywhere.
Even slaves.
In short…..
In that state, at that time…..
There was a “marketplace of ideas”…..
…..and Christianity…..
…..despite occasional bouts of horrendous persecution…..
…..won.
But, 2000 years later…..
…..with 99 percent literacy in the advanced countries…..
…..(OK, perhaps not the U.S., LOL. I did say, “advanced countries.”)…..
…..with Bibles available for free, over the Internet…..
Most “Christians” barely know the Jesus story.
Folks, I tell you what.
We are back to where we were…..
…..2000 years ago, in the Roman Empire.
We have a situation…..
…..where the existing, “dominant” religion…..
…..no longer remotely even begins…..
…..to satisfy the people “driving” society…..
…..or even, most people in general.
So, what do they do?
Obviously…..
Many have turned to worshipping false gods….
…..or themselves.
Nowadays, many worship LGBTQ+++++++++++++++.
They basically put a man’s anus on a flag…..
…..and got the U.S. military…..
…..and all of NATO…..
…..to march under it.
Look, you see this.
I don’t need to tell you.
What I WILL tell you…..
…..is that this old Faith…..
…..is no longer RELEVANT in the West…..
…..and for that reason…..
…..SOMETHING will come to replace it…..
….and that something…..
…..won’t be a man’s anus.
It will be something we haven’t yet seen.
I dunno…..
It could be, we go back to the Old Testament…..
…..and millions start converting to… Orthodox Judaism.
It could be an ENTIRELY NEW RELIGION.
Alternately…..
Perhaps Jesus will come back, IMMINENTLY…..
…..and resolve all this.

COMMENTS POLICY
Comments and any associated weblinks or other references must be directly relevant, tangential, and responsive to specific facts or views within my own published material (not just to other comments), specifically the material above the given comments section that you are adding to. THIS IS NOT A “DISCUSSION BOARD.” IT IS NOT A DEBATE PLATFORM TO DISCUSS IRRELEVANT HISTORICAL QUESTIONS, OR TO INJECT YOUR OWN PET SUBJECTS / INTERESTS, PHILOSOPHICAL MUSINGS, OR RANDOM RAMBLINGS THAT DON’T DIRECTLY, SUBSTANTIALLY BEAR ON WHAT I WROTE. Please, no disjointed / overcaffeinated rambling, which implies, among other things, no mentioning eight different topics in one comment, like a schizoid aiming to connect all the dots (if your mind is racing, take your Ritalin and calm the fuck down before you comment on this site); no “pet issues” or inquiries that have no direct bearing on what I wrote; no unclear/unexplained, irrelevant, or barely-relevant weblinks; no trying to write your own mini-blog news update digest in my comments; no batteries of questions like what about Donetsk and what about Kiev and what about the Big Offensive and how does this all end and where does blah blah blah (I will NOT respond to you, I will BLOCK you); no asking me what I think of some commentator whom I’ve never heard of; no Nazis; no Nazis pretending to be Jewish like “I’m a bar mitzvah boy, but I’m so ashamed of my people who are not the real Jews of Jesus’ time“; no “crypto” Jew-hating (when I have to read it three times before I’m sure it’s about Jews, then I permanently block your wise ass); no dogmatic Marxists; no using anti-Ukraine jargon or other “Nadsat” bullshit-speak that you picked up from The Saker, which no one outside of you and your freaky virtual friends can understand (e.g., Ukrops, 404, the vimiratis); no calling for the destruction or dissolution of the USA or its government; no calling for the destruction of Washington, DC; no calling for violence against current or former elected or appointed officials of the U.S. Government; no nonconstructive or hateful ranting about Jews (or Swej, Joos, Jooz, Jooze, Juice, Juize, Jewz, Jewze, J-Dogs, J-Dogz, J-Dawgz, J’s, Chews, Choos, Chooz, Chooze, Zionists, Zio-Nazis, Anglo-American Zionists, Amerizionists, Zionist Occupation Government, ZOG, IsraHell, Bibi SatanYahoo, “those of whom we cannot speak”, “your friends whom we can’t talk about”, “a certain small ethnic group”, the chosen, the tribe, the chosen tribe, the thirteenth tribe, tribe of Judah, the Khazarians, Khazarian mafia, Rothschilds, Khazarian Rothschilds, JewTube, JooTube, JewMerica, JooMerica, etc., etc.); no being nasty to other commenters; no trolling the “sysop”; no passive-aggressive needling of the “sysop” (I don’t acknowledge, I just BLOCK and you’re gone, “one strike” and your ass is out, GO GET SOME THERAPY); no dissing or ragging on the Insane Clown Posse, no Chupacabras, no karens or avocado toast, no complaining that your other comment wasn’t published, and no claiming “the korona doesn’t exist because vyruses don’t exist.” Please share your ***CONCISE*** (2 smartphone screens of text is NOT concise, I don’t have time to read your fucking manifesto), relevant, coherent, organized thoughts, and come back for my next post. Also, by commenting, you expressly accept and agree to my “one bullet, one Nazi” policy, and please be advised, this includes Nazis everywhere, even in the Ukraine. Furthermore, if you are a LibJew/DemJew, you are BANNED from commenting on this site UNLESS you acknowledge the extensive presence and influence of Nazis and other fascists in the Ukraine, who don’t give a fuck that they have an allegedly “Jewish president”, because they’re still (in many cases) getting paid by the state, and they’ll “take their country back from the Jews” once they take care of the Russians (can’t slit all throats at once.) If you can’t acknowledge it, then get the fuck out with your “Never Again” bullshit. Also, no scrubs. If you don’t know what a “scrub” is, please consult the TLC video on YouTube. Although scrubs exist in ALL ethnic groups and populations, a very good example of scrubs, is all the poor young black men who get shot dead, and then the moms are like, “He had such aspirations, he was going to be a rapper.” Yeah, they were all going to be famous rappers, all the thousands of them! Sure!

To be fair I listen to Mercouris at 3-4x speed using youtube speed control extension just as I did when you were on youtube, using bluetooth headphones while doing chores.
The same is done on blogs like this with the Edge read aloud feature, which is a competent screen reader which again allows speed reading speed in the options.
Pfff… New religion… Old testament…
We’ve seen all of that before.
This religion is called “Materialism”, when the measure of success and the measure of value of someone is his net worth. When the key motivation of everything is “profit for me”. It follow naturally that everyone else (who is not included into my inner circle) becomes my enemy.
There couldn’t be a universal religion, however there could be (and must be) a universal mystical experience.
The real mystical experience, the proof of its existence can be easily felt: the very sense of “aliveness”, “feeling that I am”, “the idea of myself”, “awareness of oneself”, if you think about, it clearly cannot be caused by anything external, it is an purely an internal phenomenon.
Moreover, there’s a so-called “hard problem” in cognitive science. The highly educated people cannot explain how the data from sensors (eyes, ears, etc.) becomes out subjective experience. This cannot happen in the brain. Or in other words, where the meaning of everything is coming from? That’s another hint for you.
From the perspective of “materialism”, all religions are just gibberish and a bunch of nonsense.
From the mystical perspective, the materialism is utter futility.
Go figure…
“But, the account of the rich couple being killed (by God)…..

(Kind of goes against “God is Love””
Why? Every single human being dies, and God by definition is the one who permits or makes that happen. Death doesn’t disqualify the goodness of God since Earth isn’t man’s final home. The important thing about the Ananias and Sephora incident is that it wasn’t the apostles who did the killing. St Peter told Ananias he was always free to do with his money as he pleased, but looking for kudos in the Christian community was not on the shopping list. Question is why did they die whilst hypocrites since them lived? I can only speculate that the early Christian community had to be made up of individuals who absolutely meant business since it was new, small and in the middle of a society that was intensely anti-Christian. Later on, when Christianity was more widespread and established it would be possible to be a hypocrite in it without that dangerously affecting the survival of the community. Just speculation.
BTW does _[…]_ create italics and *[…]* create bold? I like putting emphases in my text but I can’t do yellow bars. 😉
As I’ve written, I never mock believers (of any religion) for their belief, per se. And I also expect them to leave me alone. But, you are one seriously fucked-up zombie.
No shit, St. Peter didn’t kill them (as per the text, but who knows?) Per the text, God killed them. He didn’t just vaguely let them die somehow, he struck them down himself, like an evil monster. At least, that’s how it reads.
Because they hid some (not all) of their assets from St. Peter and the commune.
What is this, the IRS? The Branch Davidians?
That should not have been a capital crime. You’re a jerk for trying to justify it.
That crazy shit, probably should not have been included in the New Testament. It’s just not congruent with much else.
BTW, are you also going to justify the slaying of every Amalekite (or whoever) man, woman, and child?
Just admit that the Bible has some batshit crazy, sick shit… and let it go. Some Bible characters would be tried for war crimes at the Hague, or on death row in some U.S. state… and rightfully so. Just focus on the good parts, whatever. But get that conservative Sunday school corn cob out of your ass.
Blocked and banned.
No patience for trolls… and religious trolls don’t get a pass, just for tolerance considerations.
Compared to other eastern European countries Poland is not getting that heavily depopulated because it is standard to have two kids and quite often families have three or more kids which for a white nation nowadays is not common. Also they are developing very rapidly mainly due to investments from Germany. What you saw in the UK in 2008 was normal as there was a flood of immigrants from any Eastern European country after it got accepted in the EU because people think the West is “The Promised Land” and everything there is green and great so when they get to the UK they get slapped in the face with racism and xenophobia that go deep in all levels of society. Of course you can imagine how great you feel when you are white, christian European and you get treated worse then Indians, Africans and Muslims. Usually people tend to get back home to their country when things are getting better home but many swallow their pride and stay. None the less Poland had a huge immigration after WW2 and still they managed. I bow my head in respect to their genius if they are truly incorporating Ukrainians into their country and culture, maybe the west should watch and learn from them but since the poles are very very nationalistic ( which in the current crisis is proving to be a bad characteristic) I don’t think the Ukrainians will be accepted in society very quickly in such high numbers.
Regarding Mercouris and the other Alex I think people tend to forget that people on the internet usually have an agenda, making money is a normal agenda but lets say when you argue with your friend over a topic they try to convince you but they do not have an agenda so Mercouris’ 1 + hour rambling about the War when he can say these things in less than 10 minutes is just business. The other Alex especially sometimes says things are that over exaggerated or not true because he is anti EU, pro russia etc. Both are probably paid by Russia like many other youtubers are definitely paid by the west.
In order to convince you these youtubers or whatever usually omit important details of a particular subject, I am yet to hear a ukrainian mentioning that Crimea was transferred to Ukraine by Khrushchev in 1954, or a russian to mention the force Deportation of at least 220 000 Tatars ( mainly women, children and elderly) from Crimea after WW2 and about 15 000 greeks and bulgarians among other nations because they were “nazi collaborators”, or a Russian to mention the Holodomor etc etc. You must always check where these youtubers come from if possible and how their ideas and mentality were formed and take what they are saying with a grain of salt ( Scott Ritter working with Russians in the 80s, having a vodka or two after work, of course he is pro Russia, come on). This is why I like Dreizin because he is exposing these people which is very important.
I’m late to comment in this one, the current affairs and religion aside……what happened with the Polish lady who prepositioned you on the train…..asking for a friend
Jacob, as you can see your comments on Jesus was pretty successful get people involved. You hit the nail with the problem of the first century christianity, all scriptures was written under the impression he would come again SOON and this was the issue for the whole development of Christianity in the years to come. I think this is the mystery of faith, because even Paul was believing you will come soon he also mentioned and believed with this final death, if He was not resurrected our faith would be worthless. I admire your honesty and openness, thank you for this!
A new religion requires the backing of government.. Usually religion is not detached from politics or it just becomes another tiny cult sect. We could say in the west that Democracy itself is this new religion which began after WW1. We had crusades in the name of democracy lagainst the communist adversary. We speak in religious terms for democracy as bringing piece and human rights and democratic values, and with this the right to interfere amongst those that don’t embrace this new gospel message of democracy through conquest. We also see how democracy is morphing more and more into ideological grounds.
The reason Islam is doing well is as Jacob said it has a system of government, it’s very own law. Shariah as a “constitution” to use as a framework. Even Judaism has the Torah (the Law) for its own tribe and even its own courts in Israel and Brooklyn NY.
Can anybody help with this? Many thanks in advance — reposting the original comment below:
For donation — I see only PayPal “Coffee” donation — I don’t want to use PayPal anymore for well- known reasons.
Where is a link for monthly (repeatable) CC-based donation? Many thanks
If you join https://thedreizinreport.locals.com/, there’s an option to support the community. If you don’t see it, click on the comment button. For some reason, the only way to pay on Dreizin’s locals is to purchase locals ‘coins’ and pay with them. But you can buy the coins with a cc. The other communities I support just take a monthly or annual payment by CC directly, so I’m not sure what the deal is.
The Bible is way ahead of you. It already predicts the resurrection of paganism. I’m sure you’ve watched films of the Nuremburg rallies, something very appealing in the whole gotterdamerung thing. You have to admit the National Socialists were very sharp dressers and really knew how to put on a show. What they are trying in Ukraine is a pale imitation, but they will get better once hollywood clicks in..
LGBT is all very pagen – a return to a culture of normalized pederasty where sexual bonding between young men and older “mentors” was considered essential for the proper maturing of a young man. The homosexual warrior cultures from Sparta to Thebes to Rome to the German SS . Read Pink Swastika…pretty interesting book.
Jesus himself warned everyone about what the church would become in the parable of the mustard seed. The greatest persecutor of christians has been the official “church”.
The most interesting thing about Jesus is that he never said anything at all about how his followers should organize, never made any provision at all for writing anything down. But said it was better that he leave them so that the Holy Spirit could come to them. Much of the early Church thought He was coming back soon. When he didn’t well…see the parable of the mustard seed.
Many will take these interesting truths as evidence that it’s all a story and can be dismissed. But perhaps the reality is much more outrageous than that.
Jacob, you are outrageously funny. I just read your “Comments Policy” again….
Hey Dreizin, btw., what is the name of the Russian song at the beginning and end of your last podcast?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9D7_6NePGw
https://lyricstranslate.com/de/volna-%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BD%D0%B0-wave.html-0
Volna = wave (believe, that was mentioned repeatedly)
Thanks man!
Jacob, how right you are re. Mercouris taking an hour to say what he could have said in 5 minutes. During your “retirement” I tuned in to him to see what he had to say and promptly fell asleep. He used to be interesting talking about geopolitics. A long long time ago.
As to Christianity – I was born into it, but got myself out of it early on. As a kid I didn’t like the idea of forever burning in hell, and I was sure I would, because after all I was a sinner (kiddie sinner?). I pictured myself sitting down there in hell, sweating like a maniac, with the devil poking me with his pitchfork every few minutes. And no end in sight. Also, I had a real problem with an angry Jesus whipping people in the temple. The son of god (who loves us all) going around inflicting pain. Hmmm. And I always remembered my mother once telling me that Voltaire wrote “religion is opium for the masses”. It made us both think. Who wants to be a drug addict….
Ah yes, Joel Osteen hypnotizing his flock with his velvety tongue and making himself filthy rich in the process…
Elon Musk – I wonder if he will ever realize how devastatingly bad his idea was to send his Starlink to Ukraine. If I recall correctly, his intention was to solely help out the population have internet access because Zelensky was whining they didn’t have any. When in fact they did have it.
Thanks. I again tried to watch a few minutes of Mercouris, a couple of days ago. It’s painful to watch. It’s unwatchable. He says next to nothing… over and over. It’s a moral fraud.
Will you ever go back on his show. I originally found your blog through his channel. It would probably be good exposure.
Hello. As you seem to know, I guested on his show in early June 2022. It was a big hit, literally one of his top-viewed (probably THE top-viewed) episodes ever, up to that time. And… I never heard from him again. As a career YouTuber, he obviously couldn’t be associated with me, after I went explicitly, loudly anti-vakks starting in late summer. But, hypothetically? No thanks, I don’t need any more freeloading Mercouris groupies on this blog, who will complain when I trash-talk him. I need paying customers.
Didn’t Charles Dickens get paid by the word?
LOL
Not only do I not plan on voting or legitimizing the farce but, shortly after the last selection, I figured out how to unregister myself. My wife and I both wrote to the St. Mary’s County voting registrar and now we cannot vote. We were both already independent/unaffiliated as it was for years.
BTW… I’m no longer religious but still believe in God. I was a fundamentalist Christian. My parents and their ancestors were not fundamentalist (although they were Christian). But anyway, I understood your Jesus allusion in 5 seconds flat. If that. The vaunted Catholic Church and the Vatican are pieces of work these days, huh? Gay marriage… sure thing dudes.
I got you some “coffee” as I said before. I’m hesitant to subscribe to any social media. I’m not on any. I have a clearance and I’m not sure that I want any exposure on social media. Even this has a certain amount of risk. I have a feeling that OPM/DOHA aren’t your biggest fans TBH. I know the folks at DOHA were mighty unhappy with me a few years back.
Maybe I shouldn’t even worry. Maybe it won’t even matter sooner than I would like. I dunno.
This all seems like one of those stories that doesn’t end well. Or one of those movies where everybody dies. I just can’t put my finger on how it ends though.
Good for you, re: unregistering from the voter roll. It is a very rare thing, almost no one does it. Like you, I wrote a letter and unregistered myself… back in 2009, and was not registered anywhere until about ten days before the 2016 election (voted for Trump.) In retrospect, I should have stayed unregistered, hahaha.
Religion has been with man ever since he asked questions. I think you are very correct to say that there is a potential for a new religion. I look at the religions that have been around and everyone of them became outdated at one point because they became illogic, or cruel or just plain dumb and a burden. So I agree with you it is very possible something is coming. Especially since the same old questions still have not been answered. Big Bang my ass. Until they can come up with a better explanation the prime mover unmoved is a better explanation to me. That you bring this even up Dreizin … you got my respect.
haha the englishman was farting up a storm in tonites youtube cast. usually he burps alot
This blog has a strange obsession with Mercouris.
Christianity is a great white man’s religion because it is all about ME and how great I am.
The new religion is politics. We will be saved by the next great leader. This next election is the biggest one ever.
I remember Poles running the tourist hotels, i.e. 3star type places, in London. Another place they fill that role is in Colorado ski towns, the old style main street motels with parking at the room, not glitzy condo type slope side resort establishments.
You are a rare analyst who complains about the length of a podcast. I used to be in marketing before retirement and am mystified by the popularity of 2 hour plus podcasts and video casts.
Your point on expanding the length to have more ads is, I am sure, correct. But I am puzzled by why they are popular. I can understand why some elderly homebound people might have one playing while they putter around the house but why are these 2 to 4 hour casts popular with young or working people? Even at 2 x there is usually only about 15 minutes of content crammed into 2+ hours. This might make sense 100 years ago but in an age of reduced attention spans??? I honestly don’t get it.
I know educated, smart (those traits aren’t always mutually exclusive) men who will watch a 4 hour video but even your posts are stretching and maybe surpassing the bounds of how much they will read.
Even infomercials drone on forever these days.
Can anyone explain this?
Finally, an actual comprehensive explanation of the dearth of Russian Air Force activity. Maybe the New Atlas, the Alexes, Martynov etc etc will catch up.
My two cents which this has reinforced – no big, breakthrough offensive, just attrition, but attrite a helluva lot harder as more and more reserves and artillery are brought to bear, until there’s nothing left to effectively mount a defense any longer. The thought of what the front line already is, and will become, is nightmarish.
Taking on the God Squad is brave. A quick scan of the comments reinforces my long held and strictly observed policy of no longer discussing this topic with the faithful. Moral exclusivity, the “argument” that complexity simply MUST mean there’s a God, the suspension of logic, the many, many contradictions in the Bible, the carefully selected and frequently misinterpreted quotes to suit one’s view, the utter hypocrisy and complete lack of self awareness of it – it’s all there!
Col. frm McGreggor tried to explain the plane problem I guess last Oct. or so. Also Scott Ritter – both. talked about radars and electronics – I barely understood. But now I do.
Learned a lot today, thanks! The Russian AF challenges with all that NATO intel makes perfect sense and like other readers here, I think it‘s only a matter of time before the Russians find a solution while the West is thinking that its systems are infallible. Musk might play a role; he‘s got his shareholders to keep happy and new markets to conquer. Unless the Pentagon coughs up the outstanding Starlink hardware costs and unpaid subscriptions fees plus interest, he‘s got every right to shut down their access.
The religion discussion is interesting. My two cents: I believe that the Christian faith is built on many religions, common stories and myths. Any literal interpretation of most of what’s written in the New Testament is bound to lead to confusion and strife. I try to find the hidden messages among the hodge-podge of scripts that were repurposed by the politicians of the 3rd Century AD. How many redrafts, translations, or interpretations have been made since then? I agree on your take of Jesus — he was no politician. Side note: I was surprised to learn that my husband’s Syrian Orthodox grandmother only read the Torah. It‘s been another 2000 years, time for another reformation.
I‘m a sun worshipper and think that chem-trails are the devil‘s work but I still love churches, the music, stain-glass windows, icons and incense. Amen.
Dear Jacob, I‘m waiting for your Locals site launch to start contributing to your second salary and hope you‘ll also have a yearly subscription rate. That would work best for your non US subscribers, please.
The New Testament (like most religious sacred texts) was written in a dead language (maybe the arabic of the Quran is closer to today’s arabic). So it’s a bit odd to be so convinced of a certain interpretation after reading only translated versions of the New Testament, because even slight nuances in the original koyne greek wording can make significant differences in meaning. If you don’t know the vulgar greek you can only rely on those who know it and their interpretations. I suggest ‘The New Testament. A translation’ by David Bentley Hart, where he makes similar points to what you said here. I’m also not a classical philologist nor a theologian, but I’m sure at east some of your points were addressed in the theological literature in 2000 years.
I posted a similar comment under another post, so please don’t destroy my feelings for being a dipshit or something like that. Cheers!
A compilation of texts written in koyne Greek telling the orally transmitted story of a guy who had already been dead for decades at the moment of its composition and who, originally, was supposed to speak in Aramaic…
I read your posts as they do provide interesting views. I’m not sure you realize but I (and possibly others) do have difficulty in your format/presentation. Those bright yellow bands leave me seeing yellow bands when I look away and cause me fatigue. I’ve tried doing a pdf (and reform without yellow bars) but the formatting you use makes that a very difficult exercise eg
“There was a “marketplace of ideas”…..
…..and Christianity…..
…..despite”
Any you can do would be appreciated.
I’ve been doing this for 11 months. The blog has 1.7 million page views.
You’re the second person who’s complained about the yellow bands… and the first, was a close friend who just likes to needle me.
No, I’m not changing anything because two people complained over 11 months.
Especially not as you haven’t given me a cent. (I checked against your piratefish email.)
You want to complain, at least put down five fucking dollars.
Dreizin
I hear you when you say it is difficult to believe in the Gospel with your background. I was raised as an atheist/agnostic and with an engineering degree and publisher of Scientific papers I get the critical thinking angle.
However, you didn’t meet my Jewish study partner in university who converted to Christianity and was tortured emotionally by his father for it. He was thrown out of the family home and threatened with disinheritance and was living in my friends basement while trying to complete his studies. I was sure this would knock the silliness out of him but he held strong. I asked him how he could do this. His reply floored me, “How can I deny the presence of God and His love which I can feel for the first time in my life”. You could see it in his face!! Full tilt!
So I borrowed his bible read a Gospel and made a decision to believe. I was then led intuitively to repent and admit my waywardness was due to my unbelief and make a commitment to follow. 15 minutes later I was filled with God’s love and presence just as my friend described and He is still just as real to me 45 years later. My friend went on to finish his engineering degree, reconcile with his millionaire father and help run his business and later became a preacher and ran a church. His whole family became believers including his father who had spent his youth in a German Work camp in Nazi Germany.
It is hard to believe and come to faith, but it was made easier for me by watching my friends life unfold under extreme duress. In fact it is probably safe to say I would never had made it without seeing this in real time with my own eyes.
Well, there you go. You said it all. Your mind is written on your sleeve. You are a follower, impressionable and strongly subject to peer influence.
Obviously, I didn’t say conversion never happens. But nowadays, conversion to Christianity is extremely rare.
It’s so rare, that you have Christian sects aggressively poaching from each other. That’s why you have all these American Baptists or Evangelicals adopting some village in Guatemala or wherever, handing out generators and other free shit to the quasi-Catholic Indians. It’s not charity, they’re trying to buy people.
There may be 10X more (nominal/”born”) Christians embracing Islam, than any true outsider choosing Christianity.
And, you know what? They too feel God’s love, or presence, or peace, or whatever Muslims are supposed to feel.
What does it prove? Nothing. It doesn’t prove shit. They have their subjective experience. You have yours.
Does that mean your faith is false? No!
But you’re not going to prove anything to anybody who’s not a “follower” like you, by testifying your own FEELINGS, like a silly little girl.
If you think that’s a winner… nope, sorry. It’s just dumb.
Still, all the best to you.
This is probably one of the reason why “the west” don’t care much about cruise missiles and lots of artilery (who even cares about Ukrainian cannon fodder-there is more on the streets of Ukraine and Europe) Russians use, and make big fuss about cheap drones and possible tactical nukes in Ukraine. They are effective.
Regarding Christianity, it obviously wasn’t meant to be big religion and institution, but personal faith and small community of believers. Still, I wouldn’t trade it for any other that is currently offered. Rather clean the one we have. Maybe it’s upbringing and culture in my country. And who cares what happened to Judas. He could be killed in freak yachting accident.
NT has discrepancies. It’s not a new discussion.
And who says Christians should only do what Jesus instructed regarding social issues. Yes, as a person you should follow his words, for yourself. And be ready, as he said. As a part of society, you should improve things around you. Jesus didn’t say to build sewer. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t build sewer.
Abortion is barbaric. Ripping appart babies in bellies of their mothers is not civilized.
Thanks for your comment. Many things are “barbaric.” War is barbaric, slavery is barbaric, industrial-style meat farming is barbaric. And? Jesus was not a social activist. You got the wrong Jesus. Keep looking. There is no Scriptural basis for the American “Religious Right.”
Exactly. Slavery was abolished because it was barbaric. Treating animals cruely is barbaric, and in my country we have laws agains that. Maybe you got me wrong. Jesus for sure was not social activist, and I totally agree with that. We shouldn’t put Jesus in everything. But the way we think is the part of Christian civilization. Are we all mostly hypocrites? Yes. I’m not an American, or very religious, or on the right. More naive dumb libertarian. I see the culture in my Roman Catholic country. And I see that getting away from Christianity brings only trouble. We still have kept some old ways, and this is why so many middle-aged and old Germans, French, Belgians, Swedes are moving in (escaping their multicultural multiracial hellholes). But they probably won’t enjoy security and good heartedness of people for very long. The more new generation is getting away from Christian culture and tradition, the more degenerate it becomes.
Thanks… but slavery is recognized and accepted in the New Testament. There was a Christian antislavery movement in the USA in the 19th century, but slavery was nowhere abolished for moral-religious reasons. Everywhere it was abolished, it was so only on political and economic considerations.
True. Slavery was accepted in NT, as Jesus was not social justice leader. This is all true. It doesn’t mean that we should socially accept it. Maybe I’m not explaining right since English is not my first or second language. Actually, slavery and slave trade (on Dubrovnik Republic ships) was banned in my country for purely moral reasons. Under pressure from the church. 400 years before Americans did it. Although there were ottoman turks around, so maybe it was partly to take a stand agains turks taking slaves on the Adriatic coast. But from the old texts it’s visible tat the main reason was objection of the church. Not to treat humans like animals etc.
The “ force multiplier” commentary was worth the price of 5 coffees in itself.
NATO wants to prolong the war and use the Ukraine battlefield for developing and testing drone/AI technology to be used in combating China in Taiwan. China understands this and will align with Russia/Iran to counter balance. This is the basis of the warning Blinken addressed to China recently.
Use the Brave browser (as far as I know it is the most private one available) and an added benefit is YouTube ads are blocked! Woot!!!
For donation — I see only PayPal “Coffee” donation — I don’t want to use PayPal.
Where is a link for monthly CC-based donation? Many thanks
Liked “Because we don’t fucking matter.” This is so true yet most ppl don’t get it. I’ve worked in the belly of fortune 500 companies most of my 40 year career, been a fly on the wall in a few CEO meetings, had access to their books and seen shit, so I can say with 100% certainty they actually hate us, they hate labor, they hate their consumers. Plan and simple. We are just another form of cannon fodder to the corporate world.
Current “spin-off” within the evangelicals via the internet gaining ground is a change in Dispensational Theology.
-Christ has already returned during the Disciples lifetime and the “rapture” happened at time as did Armageddon = some believe Nero regime
-1000 yrs of peace and third return has already happened *rewriting of history – theory suggests early mid 1800’s
-currently in the “Satan Loosed a Little Season: Revelation 20:7-10” stage 1800’s till now
Eye Rolling perhaps? — I have done some reading given it is a growing interpretation, if nothing else it is fascinating reading.
Thoughts on China? Are they the country who have gained the most via this NATO induced conflict?
Thanks you for the aviation explantion, I wondered why no planes.
I will do my monthly donation of coffee again in March – I thought it best to be consistent with a monthly donation rather than per post.
Just as mainstream media obscures the truth about news, so too mainstream religion has spent centuries obscuring Bible truth. The Catholic Church tortured and burned people at the stake for just reading it. So, to conflate apostate religion with the Bible is a mistake. The same persecution of truth tellers can be true today.
‘Render unto Caesar’ is a case in point. The second part of Christ’s phrase is conveniently omitted by so-called Christian religions; ‘…render unto God what is God’s’.
What is ‘God’s’? According to Christ it is to be no part of the world…its politics, its mores etc..
Why? Because Christians have already voted for a government by God. It’s called God’s Kingdom. All Christians preach this (not a select paid clergy class as in Christendom. The early Christians were all brothers and sisters and all were ministers there was no clergy class). They were all individually commanded by Christ to spread this good news of God’s world government.
Which is why the true Christian today is easily identifiable by their neutrality politically, does not vote, salute flags, sing national anthems and does not serve in any military and also why today they are still targets for persecution (as is the case in Russia right now and many other countries that demand political or religious allegiances linked with their nationalism. As was true in WW2 in the USA and other allied countries and Nazi Germany where they were sent to death camps for their stand on these matters).
N.B. The Bible does not teach anywhere the immortality of the soul or hellfire teachings…these are unbiblical ideas adopted by Judaism and Christendom and later Islam and find no scriptural support.
Dreizen, I look forward to receiving your report and I think it’s usually spot on. Regarding your point on having faith in God and the Bible for a person who is starting from point 0 requiring peer influences from friends or family may be true, but God uses people to acheive his goals. The point you miss is people can influence us intellectually and even morally, but only the Holy Spirit can change us spiritually. Salvation through Jesus Christ is a spiritual transformation. An intellectual and even a moral transformation minus the spiritual transformation is just religion. A spiritual transformation is a rebirth. The old man is replaced by a new creation. I know that’s difficult to understand intellectually, but if you ever answer the call of the Holy Spirit you will understand what I mean. Just listen carefully. The Holy Spirit doesn’t yell. The Holy Spirit remains a small quiet voice.
Sure, I’ve heard all of the “you have to feel it” arguments. You are nice, but not original. It is VERY easy to say, when you are born and raised into it, even marginally. You only think you understand, because you’ve only ever lived it “from the inside.” You DO NOT know what it is, to “feel it” when reason interferes AND when there is a whole menu of other beliefs (or non-beliefs) to choose from. Ultimately, you speak from ignorance.
Judaism and Christianity have both survived multiple revolutions in the forces of production, this time won’t necessarily be any different.
The Yuros are already grabbing their ankles for GLOBOHOMO. The ‘Church’ of England is making noises about gender neutral language for God, putting them out of communion with the rest of the Anglican See. The Africans might as well kick out the CoE, not like anyone goes anymore!
The rest of Yurop is in worse shape. Elevating an actual retarded kid as some kind of leader. Christ.
As for America, I like what I’m seeing coming out of Dearborn – Muslims and Christians coming together to keep our sons from chopping their balls off. I think whatever spirituality emerges will come from dialog between all three of us, and it will be based on the ‘toxic’ masculinity of the Patriarch.
My *Guess*
We´ll see first a real Globo-homo Mother Gaia perversion and then we´ll see Noahidism coming, look at the so very fortunate symbol of both, no need to waste money on redecoration.
But it won´t be real Judaism, it will be more corrupt and mutated than any Osteen abomination since only the Priestly class will have any power and the Plebs better STFU and obey. There will be like a Sabbathean Frankist wing for the ruling class as well, at least for the Euro aristocracy(havn´t a clue about other wings of the elite).
As a Christian I struggled for years coming to grips with organized religion. I came to realize the majority of the Bible deals with believers relationship to church/religion. Four chapters in the Bible deal with a believers relationship with Jesus.
I now just read and study the words written in Red, pray and ask forgivness of my shortcomings from Jesus.
Really uncomplicated my life. If I’m right, I’m right if I’m wrong, well…I’m wrong. I don’t worry about any human deciding on my immortal soul.
To answer the question about the Russian air force, the first thing one should ask is where is the Ukrainian air force? That is what Russia does not want to happen to its air force. The best use is defensively IMHO. Anytime there is a break through, its ideal mobile defense and the quality of the air defense will be far lower.
We might also ask ‘where is the Israeli Air Force over Syria?’ I understand that they don’t actually enter Syrian airspace to attack targets, which IMHO is very wise of them.
Dreizen….good one. Some really thought provoking points. Your point about control of Ukrainian airspace was a real revelation. It explains so much about the tempo and tactics of this war. No modern military can operate without air support. I’ve had a feeling for some time that the long awaited grand Russian Winter/Spring/Summer offensive will never materialize. If it could have, it already would have. The airspace point you make explains that perfectly. I feel enlightened! Now I understand some of the reason for the wild arrogance of Western pundits about this war. It will be interesting to see how the Russians solve this problem. They’re smart people with a lot of resources. This trickery won’t hold them back forever.
Was cringing when you switched to religion, but that’s OK. I don’t think Judaism will ever become dominant. It’s too much of a closed cult. I watched a friend who married a Jew try to join. He was tolerated because of his wife but never accepted because his mother wasn’t Jewish. That was all people needed to hear. End of story. Door slammed in his face. The real power of Judaism is that it operates as a tight knit conspiracy of mutual support – but that’s a huge double edged sword. It’s the reason it cannot really grow except via the birth rate of Jewish mothers, and the reason it will always be mistrusted and occasionally openly attacked by the non-Jewish majority.
Christianity is full of holes, as you point out, but so is any religion based on mythology. That’s just the way it works. It’s expected. Irrelevant. What matters is if people find a critical mass of truth in the teachings. Enough truth to satisfy their basic human religious impulse. Both Judaism and Christianity are based on collections of much older sacred writings plagiarized and re-purposed, but there is enough power and truth in those ancient teachings to more than satisfy a practitioner. I think your declaration of the death of Christianity is a bit premature. The revival or Orthodox Christianity in Russia is a major driver holding their society together. It’s a major source of their cultural strength.
T
A coincidence, but last post I was about to ask you (in a reply) about the awcward absence of Russian Air attacks on military infrastructure behind the lines… the UKR surely manage to push to the front a huge amount of manpower and hardware: yet very few evidence of successful attacks on convoys, trains or large groupings of men. No way you can “refresh” the front in a country like Ukraine using many single vehicles, as coordinated as they will be, through secondary roads in the cover of night. This is not a drug cartel operation.
Is the Ukr air defence so efficient that Russians won’t even take risks? After all… when some of these HIMARS or well trained battalions get to the front they often inflict painful strikes on the Russians. Loosing a jet occasionally is bad… bus so is loosing 300 reservists after 3 month of training them, and the whole morale blow caused by it.
Even in Modern wars (like at least 3 of the Israeli – Arab wars) both sides continued laughing airstikes even when loosing air superiority or when their enemy had an efficient air defence cover. This is not an Iraq 1991 scenario. The Russians are not in the position of the Iraqis. So why they just totally avoid this?
i really respect your position on Mercuris. How anyone can listen to one of his short shows usually an hour is beyond me. His relentless droning on and on and on about nothing at all really is enough to cure narcolepsy.
However one of the most distasteful things he does is after droning on about those Ukranian dead and injured at the front line he usually ends with a very distasteful snigger or laugh or what ever one would call it and someone should give him a kick where the sun don’t shine and explain to him the benefits of not laughing at the dead or injured.
anyway thanks for the interesting post.
I have never seen Mercouris show the slightest disrespect for the dead, on either side – quite the reverse, he decries the slaughter, even when the victims are certain ideologically motivated Ukrainian units. Maybe you should lay off lighting up a joint before settling down for an evening of geopolitical youtube.
And try listening at double speed – I do that for most podcasts. When it drops back to 1x the guys talking sound like blokes stumbling out of pubs at chucking out time.
Hey, be nice. It’s reasonable to smoke dope while watching Mercouris.
Particularly, Ukraine “multi-layered” ADS depends on Starlink as the sole cornerstone…
Making the whole military apparatus of NATO, high on Starlink satellites, all way down the chains of command and their respective logistics…
Sounds like a bad idea to me in the long run. And I don’t think the RF are all that concerned about that, since NATO is practically a junkie right now.
I have found it only takes ten minutes of browsing the more popular Russian Telegram channels to get caught up on on an hour of A. Mercouris daily talking points. Thanks for effort and time you put into this blog.
But the very conservative religious are the only ones with near 3 digit IQs with above replacement fertility. And propensity to religiousness (defined as collective traditional worship) is somewhat heritable at a genetic level (around 0.3 IIRC).
If you do one of those simplistic extrapolations, in a century, everybody in the US ends up as an Evangelocon, Mormon, Amish, Haredi, or a moron. Long before that, essentially all the cognitive elite will be ultra religious.
Having said that, South Korea is worth watching – lots of Evangelicans, but TFR under 1 in all the big cities.
Communists tried to destroy Christianity and sterile childless American war criminals and their vassals pigs will be replaced in a generation. No spawn no civilisation – they will simply be moved to the old scrap heap and discarded like their grubby military.
Who would serve the anus of the Biden shit ? As the saying goes ‘I would not piss on NATO scum if they were on fire!’.
Your right on the religious front, something is coming and it won’t be good. But at the end it will be made right.
a good shepherd has to eat too and make compromises wih qll the packs of wolves around his flock…
the newest religion is the believe in the science of (our) experts. This science can change, but at the moment says for example that a woman can be born inside a man’ s body. Humans can change the climate etc. Nice control tool for the dumb masses.
There were more than 4 gospels, but only four have remained in the west. These were all written after Jesus’ left us. Also there have been many changes over time in these writings by corrupt men. That is why it is often confusing and why you will find many contradictions. This also happened to the Tawrah (old testament) For some rabies this was not enough and collectively wrote there own ideas and bundled this in the Talmud.
The only religion that purely worships the Creator is Islam. In Islamic teachings we learn that if your heart is not at least filled with fear of the creator ( love is a higher status) it will be filled with love of something else. You can see the result of that everywhere in the west now. Satan and his army are having a big party in the west.
Lastly I read on a substack of a guy ” the second smartest guy in the world” that Russia is very much moving along with the digital id, finance and medical control grid. It seems they are either playing along on that part of the reset or they are expecting this to escelate into a bio war in the near future. Also they signed and published the declaration of the lat G20 which contained all the garbage about
sustainable development net zero etc. I cannot check this guy’ s russian references, Any body has thought on this? Maybe the smartest guy in the world is on this blog?
I disagree. They THINK that they are following science because they are brainwashed. They are following what the newspapers, TV-news and the medial fog around them says, what other people say, what they hear…
No Biology on this planet teaches 73 different genders. But Gender Fucking Studies within “Political Science” and certain freaks teach that – we are not talking about falsifiable science in this case.
And regarding the Chinese Why-Russ and the Wuck-Seen: the medical profession has been switched off and they are conformists now who do as politics and media tell them, because nobody wants to risk their jerbs.
I understand the spiritual discussion in this thread and it is interesting. I can’t add anything since I am not competent in terms of confession/religion and I don’t take it too seriously because it’s all about selling amd ego. If you sell them a cut off walrus penis with mighty powers anf give it an exotic name people might believe in the “holy huj morzhovoj”, many people are just fucking stupid…
Chirstianity conquered by all the arts of war… it was imposed and helped to pacify the people
Yes… but not in the first centuries. I obviously wrote about the first centuries.
You are right that being born a Jew, you aren’t going to accept Christianity. However, keep in mind that there are plenty of crazy things in the old testament and Christians would not be amused if they found that Judaism preached that Mary was a whore and Jesus is swimming for eternity in excrement.
Very few people adopt a traditional religion besides what they were born into unless conquered. Most instead will start worshipping Mother Gaia and try to help her defeat the Sun God by stopping cows from darting. Maybe Michel Houellebecq’s prediction is right and European men will start converting to Islam once the moslems start taking over both for job security and in reaction to the Feminization of Christianity (it no longer offers men anything positive.)
In the meantime the only modern significant adoption of a different traditional religion than the birth one I can think of is American Jews and Buddhism. Many of the leaders are jews and they have in some ways remade it to fit their own biases. So you now find Buddhist centers combating whiteness – you know just like the Buddha would want
So ChatGPT to replace the wisdom of the Old Testament
Hello! Who says I was born into any religion??? You don’t know me.
The “Old Testament” is a bunch of crap. Not even most conservatives take it literally.
Glad that you addressed the demography problems, Dreizin. It is much worse in other areas.
In Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria etc. it is the same story. I guess Serbia is quite happy that it got those 100k+ Russians who fled idiotically from their motherland in 2022, since Serbia is losing some 50k people EACH YEAR by brain drain. As far as I remember the same amount of unborn babies gets aborted EACH YEAR there. The only good thing for the Serbs/Romanians is that they go to Austria and Germany in most cases and stay near their home countries (bring in reserves).
Whole towns of Romania are empty and you can’t find no qualified personnel to do specific works (plumbers, electricians, …). Some rightist oriented Austrians I talk to are always complaining about “THE MONEY” that goes to new EU members and how the “RICH” EU-members have to finance countries like Romania. I then have to explain to them that those financial aids are connected to a forced destruction of local industries in those countries and to the replacement by “western” products they have to buy with the “aid”, including a depopulation. They are almost always shocked.
Every time I hear about possible conflicts in the Balcans I ask myself with which armies they want to kill each other.
Bosnia had a 1990-population of ca. 4,5Mio people, now it has ca. 3,5Mio inhabitants. Croatia, in numbers almost the same story (from 4,5Mio to 3,8Mio).
Some Western Europeans are quite happy that they have an increasing population, somehow they interpret this as a good thing. But the devil is in the details, you addressed that as well. Many of the people that have arrived in the past 10-15 years are often uneducated people from some tribal areas. They don’t always understand the concept of democracy and the rights and duties that come with it. They can’t do meaningful work. But they are all represented by the most woke and “open minded” parties (like the fucking Greens) that defame everybody as fascist who asks certain questions.
Somewhere along the line you will have whole regions where the population belongs to more than 50% to a certain ethnic group or religion. What democratic tool will you use to prevent a referendum on independence? What will you do? In contrast to America or Australia there are no realistic mechanisms or selection methods for proper assimilation in Europe.
The ironic thing is: Some 80 years ago fascists in Germany and all around Europe persecuted and killed the best integrated, most assimilated and most competent ethnic and religious minority in Europes history.
Mercouris is a British-trained lawyer. All the British-trained lawyers that I know speak with a similar cadence. His knowledge of history, particularly European political history, allows him to make very insightful geopolitical comments. I just listen to him at 1.5X or 2X speed 🙂
We can all agree that orthodox Christianity is the only true branch of the religion :). That being said, my personal belief is that Chriatianity was the next step in evolution of human consciousness (Buddhism looks like the same process in a different region). In contrast with the old testament cruelty and biblical punishments (Dreizin seems a fan of).
I listen to Alex M at double speed and slow down when he gets interesting.
Re. Russian airpower – take all your points. Russia is fighting a crazy war against NATO/USA/EU etc which poses unprecedented problems, especially in electronic warfare. Clearly the USA planned, over at least eight years, to make things as difficult as possible for Russia in a war they then provoked. Pity about the Ukrainians.
On the other hand the Russians have had just as long to work out how to undo the knots. I think you tend to underestimate the depths of deception that is going on. I know you are not keen on historical stuff (except in religious matters!!) but the fighting (not the politics) in this war is very like the Spanish Civil War with Kiev as the Republicans and Russia as Franco. Until quite recently, when the archives really opened up, even serious historians thought General Franco was a bit thick but got there in the end. Then as now the Republicans were doing stuff for the media and Franco was doing stuff for the long term to win and he needed to get rid of as many of his opponents as possible, dead, exiled whatever. Some say the population of Ukraine is now down to around 25-27 million from a peak of 51 million. Quite a few million in Russia, which is handy for a demographically challenged country.
I am going on a bit but when it comes to how complex deception can get I recommend a study of the brilliant General Marlborough who regularly confused everybody, his own side, the French, his allies the Dutch but never himself. And he did everything in full view of the enemy or their spies, including some in his own army.
At a tactical level General Brusilov’s break through of the Austrian lines in the First World War is a model of successful intricate deception.
Let’s not forget that while the war continues NATO/USA are barred from the Black Sea.
For me, the biggest disappointment in all this is that I shall either be dead or in the Guiness Book of records for longevity when we (you) finally find out what is really going on.
Alex M is not military analyst, so I’m not sure why anyone listens to him on that issue when he admits he is not. On geopolitics he is more interesting, but still drags it a lot. It’s obviously about money now. In one year Duran exploded.
Where to start criticism best? Well, just where it hurts! You get the details about Jesus right, but you miss the larger picture.
Christianity offers a very clearcut position on the most political issues: family and fear. Mind your family (God being a member of it!) and be fearful of God – no one else!
Christianity is exceptionally political. That’s why Globohomo so much interferes with it in particular w.r.t. family affairs!
And “to render unto Cesar” his own money is just akin to “Dump the petro Dollar!”.
In contrast to Judaism, Christianity never needed to refer to a “secret Torah” leading to the Midrashim, the Mishnah and Gemara (a.k.a. Talmud). Also, the Sefir Zohar is testament to all the shortcomings of Judaism. Liberal Judaism can do very well without Jahwe – no pun intended! And it’s getting it worse by the day.
In contrast, the Catholic Church has undergone a century-long “struggle for the Truth” which is known as the canonical process. Mind you: there is no ONE (edition of the) Bible. And certainly Jews will agree that there is no such autoritative scripture as the ONE Old Testament (cf. Midrash etc.).
But apart from these issues, I enjoy your blog.
How are you criticizing, exactly? I see much weird rambling (e.g., some nonsense about family = political, and the petrodollar) and throwing around of Hebrew words. A strange brew, for sure. But I don’t see any criticism of anything that I actually wrote.
Yes, you are right. Christianity has a big value culturally, politically and Morally. So does Judaism – actualy a biggest part of Christianity ( and of Islam, too). Although a Christian, I can accept any critic of it – there happened many mistakes and translations mistakes, too, the red line of this Christian „Philosophy“ is here. What I am afraid, is aggressive atheism. Paganism is just naive and a preconstruct of any big religion. Don‘t mean Hinduismus and its derivates – because behind that is also moral, ruling, law, culture and philosophy.
Thanks for clearing up the air power mystery. The so-called collective west is clearly a belligerent but its politicians do not want to come clean and say so either to Russia or to their own people. Ultimately, this disingenuous approach shows a total lack of moral courage. Which I am sure much of the rest of the world realises.
Lack of moral courage also plays into your theme about Christianity. Our civilization even used to be called Christendom. Hard to have courage without an underlying meaning. Many of the ideologies that have killed millions since the French Revolution seem to be a search for such meaning in a post Christian world, albeit anchored in a set of values that has clearly been influenced by Christian ways of thinking. Globohomo is just the latest of these ideologies and it is just as evil. The so called Rights of “Man” have led to far too many violent deaths in the past couple of centuries and Globohomo is on the same path.
Any idea on if there is any kind of space war going on with destroying satellites between Russia and NATO? I would think surveillance would be huge in a conflict like this , also I’ve heard that the USA has a space laser that can zap someone from space including Putin
Wonder what’s wrong with these people. Wasn’t DeSantis saying recently why bother any longer with a 3rd rate military power like Rrussia (3rd rate !!?? What ??) and take on China, finally, or so.
What has befallen them. No sneakiness left, they speak out open & loud their satanic agenda as the stone cold Psycho Paths they are. What’s up with their brains. It seems like kinda human-rabbit-like mental epidemic to me, the deeper sense of all that madness may only know to GAD. Final outcome: the half-unconscious ? task of dying-out of a whole lot or nearly entirely 8 billion or so human being currently existing. Weren’t there only 4 or so back in the 1980s ? Wait only a few decades, not now, 1983, until nuclear holocaust Rreally Hits… There seems to be no such thing as learning from history, so be it. “Our Leaders” and the “decisive powers” incl. especially GodDamn Tschoermeny + their folk WANT it so. And what can you do about ? Of course, nobody even gives a damn sh… about the unasked & irrelevant majority of humanity not even involved in this feud. Far, far worse then in classic colonial-imperialist times, 100 or 150 years back.
Hi there just got the email only had time to read the intro on Russian airpower. For what it’s worth I agree mostly (take my opinion for what its worth which zilch… and you can take that to the bank!). If your interested one of the best mil nerd blogs out there (again in my opinion so you know) had some interesting comments on this and recent videos of greatly increased Russian CAS in in Northern Lugansk. If your interested the mil nerd blog is “Simplicius The Thinker” on Substack. Check it out if your inclined. Or don’t no skin off my sack. Have a good one and cheers from Canada
What’s CAS?
I think he is referring to Close Air Support.
And you are spot on about the restrictions on Russian air power. We lost 3600 jet fighter-bombers in the Vietnamese War, including most of the force of F-105 Thunderchiefs. Back then however the US had the willingness for years to take the losses, and to replace them with new planes and pilots.
Wars have to be won by killing enemy soldiers on the ground and ultimately taking that ground.
What you call Globohomo is the new religion. It is the belief that we will progress to a new utopia where all historical wrongs will have been corrected. We will solve all world problems through technology. Eventually, transhumanism will allow us to live eternal life as we merge with machine. Like all progressive religions (read, communism), those who do not believe must be cast off. The one nice thing about Christianity is that the utopia is not of this world, so those who are non-believers won’t be cast off until this earthly life is done, and that casting off is not to be taken on by humans (not always practiced like this, but that’s the way it is supposed to be).
This war needs to end. But, it is a religious war, like so many of the past.
For the rest of my life, I can’t look at the rainbow color flag anymore without the urge to burst into an uncontrollable laugh. Jezus Dreizin “They basically put a man’s anus on a flag”. Where does that come from?
Btw, the bible as is, specifically the New Testament, is just a selection of texts by some powerful prelates, who were, as I understood it, very occupied with wordly activities, many holes in their environment would have looked like the rainbow flag. Tens, if not hundreds of books have been left out, and condemned as blasphemous. For example, the Book of Revelation was actually selected from tens of revalations. The one in the bible was the odd one out. It’s a book of endtimes, revenge and war, contrary the the majority of the apocryphal “Books of Revelation”…
Back in Soviet times, a lot of Russians turned to weird spiritual cults and occults. These beliefs were a safe alternative to the semi-banned Orthodox Church or the Communist State Religion. I’ve noticed a lot of people are now into wacky Paganism or some sort of mystic Universe type mumbo jumbo. Then there is the Green Religion. As in so many ways, we are turning into Russia. Other examples would be food shortages, corruption, inflation, state control of our lives.
The Judas thing is actually easy to explain. His body was bloated, hanging and suffocating as he struggled with a noise around his neck, the bodily fluids release, piss, sh*t, sweat, saliva, snots etc. As they hack off the branch to get you down you make for a messy drop as the body hits the rocky ground. As far as the aborted children there was always a debate rewards issued without ever participating in the prize. NT uses Greek ethical thought about the cultivation of virtues. Yes dying before born or as a babe would be best as you get into heaven, but the thought was why should they have it easy, compared to the guy who struggled his whole life and got shit on by the masses instead. In this life is where you cultivate your virtues and talents, it’s what the Parable of the Talents is about.
Thanks for your nice comment… but, no, no, and no. In the “Judas exploded” account, it’s implied that he was simply out and about, and it’s stated that God struck him and he burst. Nothing about him hanging himself. God struck him, he didn’t kill himself. It’s pretty clear. You are seeing things that aren’t there, a.k.a. “straight making shit up.” Just admit it’s two different tales, and move on. Why make up elaborate bullshit that contradicts the text? All the best to you!
General Milley said that neither side has the force to score a decisive victory. I dont necessarily believe what the participation trophy general proclaims. But with the Russian air force bottlenecked it seems like it will take years for the Russians to grind the Ukrainians down to a sufficient degree and thats not accounting for NATO increasing arms production from Ukraine. So it seems like Russia needs to adopt better tactics. Perhaps completely obliterating the power grid and targeting railroad stations and junctions. They gotta do something to scramble the logistics otherwise it is getting ridiculous. Also from what I heard they still havent deployed about 200k reservists for the upcoming offensive (if it hasent started already). Dont know what they are gonna do with them but I dont expect any rapid advances they will probably create a second Bakhmut scenario on another front.
“It could be an ENTIRELY NEW RELIGION”
I believe it is a very old religion, paganism, which can take on many forms and worship many different spirits/gods. Think of the Climate Change fanatics. They are clearly pagans who worship nature. They are probably looking for wood sprites, elves and the like. The National Socialists were a particular sect of this group. The leader was vegetarian to boot. Then there are the worshipers of Moloch sacrificing children, even those making it through unsuccessful abortions. Of course, we must not forget the globohomo and transgender clique’. They are probably out trying to capture Pan, a centaur or various other freaks of nature one encountered in ancient mythology.
On the ‘Russian Air Power’ I suspected as much. After reading what you had written, didn’t make me feel any better. Combat soldiers sure as hell are in hell. Nightmarish!!!
I think how we were in the Anglosphere 15-20 years ago struck a decent balance, in that we were basically a Christian society but most were non practising. A lot of people conceptualised a simplified (kinder) version of the bible and it was a net positive for society and that aspect of our human nature where we yearn for some type of deity was mostly satisfied. This societal balance was slowly eroded over time then came the gay marriage wars in which weak politicians through their Christian base under the bus and Liberalism won out, now we have Anus flags and ugly models.
I think something that should be written about is the USAs addiction to Adderall, it reminds me of Nazi Germanys addiction to Pervitin, it could partially explain the accelerating decline in American society because if people can get more shit done on Adderall then it goes without saying that they can get more stupid shit done, plus there has to be an inevitable crash. What goes up must come down.
How come you didn’t comment on the nordstream article still? I wonder!
That’s dumb. I did an entire headline piece on the pipes, when they were blown up. You could easily look that up through a keyword search (“pipeline” or something like that) on this blog. I also spoke on the topic at length, in a radio show (linked to this blog) back in December. Nothing has changed since then. What do you want me to say now?
“Meanwhile, Germany hopes to replenish itself with Arabs, Afghans, and Africans, LOL.” Germany is definitely getting the better deal.
LOL
Jacob you may not believe in God, but I think your morals are derived from those who did ( and do).
Thanks… but who said I don’t believe?
It seems like you practice what Barnes calls strategic empathy. (Critical thinking from an opposing side). People think erroneously it is what you believe. At least that is my interpretation.
Ok; sounds plausible. And not exactly new. We *know* nato eyes have been covering everything from the very start.
But it is still a puzzle, however, why is Russia not taking out the rail roads. Surely they are immovable and literally undefendable. Also bridges etc.
And if only there was a “Dreisen report” mug I’d be ordering NOW. Or a hoodie? Maybe put some of your original artwork on etsy?
Hello. They have tried. These large Soviet bridges, only a nuclear bomb can reduce to a truly non-repairable state. The road surface of the Antonov bridge in Kherson got hit with the better part of a hundred missiles from the HIMARS, many of the hits were mere feet from each other… and it remained in use until the Russians demolished several supports during their withdrawal, using probably tons of explosives, placed just right, no missile or bomb could be targeted that way. As for the rails… any random stretch of track can be repaired within 24 hours.
Not sure I agree. Damage it in 20 places it will take longer. Damage daily, damage crossings, etc.
Bridge: USA easily destroyed all bridges they wanted in Serbia, surely Russia could drop larger bombs than himars
So as a guess, they are not destroying bridges/railway for two reasons: 1. PR: they are still fairly gentle on the civilian infrastructure and -2. they anticipate they will need this infrastructure soon for their own transport.
Jay-sssusss!!!! Did you even read my blog post??? You can’t drop bombs on major bridges if you’re too scared to fly to reach those bridges. Gawd dayyyyumm what the fuck.
Afraid to drop from high altitude? From Black Sea? From Russian territory? From Belarus?
Unlikely.
Rails are easily damagable with whatever uavs they have.
So – no, I don’t think you are guessing right. I know you *believe* you do.
Hey asshole. Russia has almost no JDAM-style glide bombs in its inventory. Essentially the only thing they can “drop” from outside of enemy air defense range, is cruise missiles, which they have been doing, but there’s just not enough cruise missiles.
For the first time in your life, why don’t you listen and learn something, instead of just hearing yourself bloviate?
You obviously don’t know anything on this topic. Why argue just to argue? Can’t you just go masturbate or something? No one likes trolls. Trolls get blocked and flushed down the toilet.
PS: There is no altitude a Russian aircraft can fly, that is out of vertical reach of Ukrainian air defense. Again, learn something for a change.
It was not so easy to destroy the danube bridges in Serbia. It took a couple of bombings and tomahawks.
And even with really old Yugoslav/Sovyet air defense systems the Serbs brought down a couple of NATO-birds, including the “invisible” F-117. And Serbia has no real depth, since NATO is all around them and it is much smaller than Ukraine (factor 10 approx.).
The Russians would have to fly much deeper into Ukraine – every km of longer trajectory might enlarge the danger of a shoot-down exponentially.
Even the older Buk-system easily reach the altitudes Russian bombers would have to fly (30000 feet?), and those system are highly effective (remember the downing of the Dutch machine in 2014?).
Not to talk about newer systems they received from their western partners, maybe even controlled by western specialists…
If the Russians could do it they would do it, but the risk is too high.
Another thing, railways are “linear targets” and as Dreizin wrote, can be easily repaired. Where I live is one of the biggest rail-installing-machine factories in the world. Those machines are all around the globe, look like some kind of strange yellow trains and can install hundreds of meters of railway each day. We are talking about thousands of miles of rails, how are you gonna destroy such a thing with a missile or a bomb that might only take out 10-20m of rails?
Well, you opened the door.
Life on Earth, about a billion years. Homo sapiens, a few hundred thousand years. At some point a few tens of thousands of years ago, our ancestors evolved complex language skill and this supercharged brain development and cognitive functioning. Language was then used to inculcate offspring with behaviors that helped them to survive and thrive in the local environment (aka post-partum nurturing). And civilization occurred as a result of the ensuing population explosion and switch to agrarian food supply. Religion then came into existence as an effective means of passing this localized wisdom down through succeeding generations (consistency of message, repetition, and reward/punishment feedback loop). Religions vary because environments vary, and the local wisdom pertains to what has historically “worked” in that locale. No metaphysical being is required, but early mysticism arose to fill the knowledge vacuum of that era.
Moral of this story. We cast aside ancient wisdom at our own peril.
So the hundreds of billions of cells in your body (and you have no idea how complex one cell is). And the massively complex and interdependent life on this planet came from just a happy coincidence? Everything comes from nothing? It takes too much faith to be an athiest.
What? Did he say he’s an atheist? I didn’t hear that. He is talking about the origin of religion, something like that.
The old William Craig argument based on the Colonn ditto that has no religous coupling. It just fits so well with all christian bs. U know the gospels werent even written by witnesses of christ but at least (Matt?) 50-60 yrs later. They’re not agreeing on much among themselves. Then WHICH bible is the “true” one? And whatabout the rest of all scriptures that didnt cut it for the “final release”. Some priests decided on that, and being revised, like, how many times? As someone wisely said a christian is an atheist to all other religions, he/she has just one more to go!
Well that “comes from nothing” isn’t actually true. Comes from the right amino acids and other chemicals under right temperature and right pressure and shit…
The science behind it is in its baby feet, like many other fields of science, we need more time. And everything around us is statistics, stochastics and shit…
As I understood it even Dreizins prognosis for the ultra-bug (or actually not-so-ultra-bug but fucks people up because of the Fuck-scene), that could cause problems for humanity is somewhat derived from a statistical feeling if you will… that is why I take it seriously.
There might be a higher power that we can’t understand and that observes our stupid lifes, but sometimes shit “just happens” when a couple of factors play together. Maybe that is intentional and god is some kind of statistical being…
Research Anthroposophy _ Rudolf Steiner for an occult understanding of Christianity and his lectures
‘ Karma of Untruthfulness’ for the geopolitical occult understanding of current events that are paralleled in the spiritual world.
Man, that sounds heavy.
(This post has nothing to do with the war or current events, but about religion just FYI) Weird story but my uncle was the head of the Baptist church in Florida for like seven years. He inherited the family lumber business that my grandfather created in the early seventies, after a few years went by in the early 2000’s, he sold the company along with half the remaining stock options that all the siblings had to their name to a giant monopoly. Now being extremely rich, he then went on to create many more small to medium sized business and was known as a cut throat businessman around town. He became very religious when his current wife’s family (car dealership owners) basically told him he needed to quit boozing and partying all the time so he converted so he could marry the daughter. After my father died a few years ago, I’m pretty sure my dad told him to take me under his wing and we met for about a year, every few weeks, before the work day. Each meeting he forced/encouraged me to do a mentoring Bible study program which I never asked for. After about a year I just didn’t get into it, I too saw far to many holes in the logic and history, and so I told him I didn’t want to keep doing it. Ever since then I think we’ve met about twice and had about 3-4 phone calls, but I could tell he was done with me. If I wasn’t spouting Bible versus and going to church he would just cut you out of his life, and that included everyone not just me. For instance his family stopped going to Christmas and thanksgiving dinners about ten years ago (these are his own brother and sisters and children etc.) and would spend time with his wife’s family instead and the religious group he kept. He now lives in a 14 million dollar house on the beach and has a giant ranch in Texas.(WWJD?) Also after my dad passed, my dad had a Thompson machine gun that grandpa came back with from Japan. He somehow took this gun for himself (along with many of my dads other guns ) and did not reimburse my brother or I for it. I’ve thought about calling the feds on him for this. Anyway I guess what I’m saying is that one of the most religious people I know is also one of the biggest scum bags I know. He steals from his own family, puts them out of work, he ignores them if they don’t praise Jesus 24/7 or go to church and he’s also a dirty businessman from what many people had told me. I sometime think god is testing me or something with this dbag but it’s hard to say. He’s the executor of my grandfathers estate so I can’t call him out yet on all of this bullshit as things are still being settled, but I think about it constantly, how someone who is supposed to be so sanctimonious and religious is not in the least bit. Sorry for the long rant but when you said that the church was bullshit, I felt compelled to give my 2 cents, as I have had to bottle up my feelings for so long. If there is a heaven or hell, he’s got a lot of explaining to do.
Hi Jacob, MILLION, million thanks for finally explained
— a major “mystery”
— that was not addressed and never explained for a FULL year
— by all these analysts
— detailing battles in each of the villages and house patios/gardens
Things are far more logical now and — quite depressing….
How many more such fundamental facts are not yet known….
.
House patios hahaha. Good one.
I found you can listen to all Duran stuff without commercials if you go to their web page and watch the embedded videos. Of course it still takes Mecurous an hour to explain what should take 5 minutes.
As for Christianity the ideas of turn the other cheek and give onto Ceasar what is Ceasars sounds like slavery to me. BTW, who determines what is Ceasars? Those you turn the other cheek to.
Thanks, you got me going and I can’t just stop. Don’t get hung up on who Caesar is, or what Caesar says, it doesn’t matter. “Render unto Caesar” are probably the three most important words in the New Testament. If you look at what Jesus is supposed to have said, his was an esoteric, end-times oriented belief system, that was NOT intended to govern nations or mass social behavior. He told his disciples that the Second Coming would be IN THEIR OWN LIFETIMES. He was NOT laying down long-term rules like Mohammad would do later. It was all about saving your own soul, today, and to hell with everything else. “Render unto Caesar” means pay your taxes, shut up, and don’t fret about temporal authority, instead worry about your soul. In fact, the New Testament even accepts SLAVERY…because that has no bearing on your soul. Clearly, there is scripturally NO BASIS for Christian involvement in politics, whatsoever. All of that distorted thinking came centuries later, from St. Augustine and then others, who falsely tried to reconcile their status as hierarchical rulers or religious bureaucrats with the tenets of a marginal, esoteric, end-times oriented, Judean “rebel” sect. In fact, Jesus got killed so quickly that he did not lay out any rules, structure, or guidelines for a Christian community even at the LOCAL level. That was left to St. Paul, but even Paul did not envision Christians having any power at all. Again, it was an esoteric faith, not political. There is no scriptural basis for Christians “lobbying” Caesar for this or that, much less, trying to take power themselves, or remake the world in their image. Nor is there a basis for any “campaigns” or “crusades” against the sins of others… ESPECIALLY if those sins are lawful (because, RENDER UNTO CAESAR!!!) Jesus would not have worried about aborted children, because they all go to heaven, so who cares? I mean, why risk Hell? The abortionists may be murderers, but the kids are being done a favor. It should not even be an issue. The kids are in heaven, WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN SOUL. All this Christian politics stuff in the USA, is a grotesque, stupid perversion of Scripture. Many of those dummies wouldn’t know Jesus if he came down and kicked them in the ass. They’d probably call him a fucking hippie fag, and crucify him again. They may have read everything in their Bible study… but they understood NOTHING.
Jesus loved the children. They are made in the image of God. To say that He wouldn’t have cared about abortion is just a gross twisting of His character.
MATTHEW 19:13-14
13Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”…
Man that is dumb. Those were live people. Big difference. Someone is dead and in heaven? Congratulations, you move on. “Let the dead bury the dead.” Jesus would not be picketing an abortion clinic, or a strip club, crack house, whorehouse, gay bathhouse, military combat training facility, any war zone, nuclear weapons depot, slaughterhouse, or any other place or establishment, no matter how vile.
There IS the moral law and that’s “what belongs to God” (Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and give to God what belongs to God). In the realm of politics Christ would be neither Democrat nor Republican, that is, he would not vote one way or the other. Rather, He would vote for the moral law…that is, for policies and laws which are against abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, euthanasia, etc.
Christ would NOT vote for anything ever, you fucking idiot. Not even for a ballot proposition on school district funding. He would not even register to vote. He would not drive anyone else to register. He would not let his hypothetical wife or kids vote. He would not put a bumper sticker on his car. Goddamn, how stupid these people are. Man alive. The Religious Right!
I would add this quote from St Paul: “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.” Early Christianity was not meant to challenge authority or get involved in governance. It only became an “official religion” after Constantine put the Christian chi-rho emblem on his army’s banners as a talisman against his enemies.
Bingo.
“He told his disciples that the Second Coming would be IN THEIR OWN LIFETIMES”. Finally someone who understands what he reads. Some of my fellow Christian friends don’t get it, but you did. I’m impressed.
Thanks… but, it’s right there in the text. How do your friends interpret it?
As someone who identifies as a Christian, I approve this message. I’ll also be giggling about it all day and think it should be added to the post.
Love this blog.
Listen Jacob, after writing all this about “Render unto Caesar” ”only care about your after life” ”all the shit you are forced to accept in this world doesn’t matter” isn’t it obvious why it became an OFFICIAL/STATE religion? That’s the dream of every ruler: having complacent, obedient subjects, ready to endure everything without complaining for the sake of after life.
I always understood the “render unto Cesar” part in a quite different way. Jesus sees the coins and asks who the guy engraved on them is, and then he simply reasons: if he’s made the coins or ordered them to be maid, he’s the one who gives them their value. It‘s rather a tale about forgetting about money altogether and establishing your OWN transaction system. It is, as it is often the case in the gospels, not an advice to subject yourself to the state but to ignore it –as far as a powerless individual can ignore it. I see the stories about putting the other cheek and working double the amount you‘ve been told just in the same way: as gestures of defiance. It‘s a way to say: „I don‘t agree with this, I‘m not just complying“, in a manner that won‘t get you automatically killed. But, sure, you can not make a belief system out of –what, a few dozens of remaining sentences, sometimes contradicting each other?
Maybe it‘s just wilful thinking on my part, but, considering the hundreds of different interpretations of Jesus’ actions through history, I choose to take the one of an anti-establishment rebel, one of the first in a long tradition of anarchist-like thinkers. In any case, I agree with you in that he would abhor the ideas of modern Christians and modern Christians would be very much outraged about him.
I hope I‘m wrong but this post may cost you a handful of subscribers. Now you‘ve managed to annoy both Christians and hardcore Covidians xD Greetings from a not so quiet tapeworm
Thanks, but you’re only a tapeworm if you don’t give me money, or don’t follow and like me on Twitter… AND complain about my work.
What I don’t understand about the belief in the New Testament is that none of the people writing it ever knew, heard, saw or spoke to Jesus, but strangely have quotations and information about his life. And what about the ‘Infancy Gospels’, where they write about Jesus’ childhood, where these texts are written 100 or more years after Jesus, and Jesus is slaying dragons? There are historians who are writing at the time of Jesus life, but none speak of anything that would relate to Jesus. The premise of a messiah, from Judaism, indicates that there is an enormous world change when the messiah comes…..it reminds me of the story of someone coming to a head rabbi, during Jesus’ time, advising that the messiah has arrived. The rabbi looks out the window and says ‘I see no change’……
“Thanks… but, it’s right there in the text. How do your friends interpret it?”
Well, since you asked:

“Render unto Caesar” – a teeny, weeny bit of context would really help, Mr Dreizen. Christ was answering a question by the Pharisees: “It is lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” It was a trap. If Christ said “yes” then he loses the support of the Jews who resented Roman overlordship. If he said “no” then he could be arrested for subversion of Roman authority. His answer is “yes” with an explanation: the state has a right to taxes since the state has to be paid to maintain security and order, just as God has a right to our obedience since he gives us everything we have. St Paul developed this, affirming that the authority of the state comes from God who has arranged things that some humans rule other humans as society can’t function any other way.
Of course you knew this (at least the context part).
those guys never speak about the j@bs.. took then ! sup0se
Air power mystery explained: thanks for that.
Very roughly it seems KIA+MIA works out at 25k for Russian (including LPR/DPR Chechens and Wagner) and 200k for Ukraine.
So it is no surprise that Russia has been extremely cautious about wasting Pilots and aircraft too.
I see this not so much as poor Russian performance in air fighting, but as proof of how dominant Russia has been in all other fields.
Besides a lot is being held back in case we get to direct Nato vs Russia war.
I live in UK, London, and did in 2009/10. I also speak fluent Polish having lived there for a total of 20 years.
So no it wasn’t 50% of construction workers were Polish, it was a lot less from E Europe and about half were Poles. The Lingua Franca amongst them was often Polish though – Czechs, Slovaks, Lithuanians would get together and communicate in Pigeon Polish. (The Balts have sent a much higher percent of their pop to UK and EU than Poland and unlike the Poles they are much less likely to return after a few years).
But yeah it was a lot. And there are a lot of Ukrainians (if not as many as you suggest) in Poland and have been for 15 or more years.
Thanks, but, according to the Polish government, it is very certainly “as many as I suggest.”
And, no, the death toll is not 200,000 on the Ukrainian side. That is ludicrous. Just wishful thinking by various propagandists on one side, and panic-mongers on the other.
Yes, it may be half the London builders were East European when I was there, and I assumed they were all Polish. “They all look alike.”
I would expect the Russians to hold back some capabilities, because they would not want to reveal everything they have to the US. If this is the case, it is unfortunate, because some Russian soldiers and their allies will lose their lives in support of this greater strategic cause.
Thank you for the educational post.
I knew the surveillance information the US and vassals provided to Ukraine was a big help, but I didn’t know how much of a huge help it was in suppressing Russian airpower over Ukraine.

It would seem this then causes the MSM to understate Russian airpower when reporting to the US populace, because they do not explain that a lot of Ukraine’s ability to avoid air strikes is due to surveillance done for them by parties operating safely outside the warzone.
If the US were to expand the war by entering it itself or through more European proxies, a lot of this equipment would suddenly be in the warzone and subject to targeting by the Russians, changing the situation in the air radically in the Russian’s favor. A good argument for those with more level heads for the US to be cautious about its level of involvement (beyond the well-known concerns about escalating to a nuclear conflict).
So, his interesting comment on the air war mechanics was wasted on you, wasn’t it? Similarly no doubt my pedestrian observation that wounded is approximately 4:1 deaths in combat. Go figure Ukrainian manpower needs now, why don’t you.
