I received the following comment from one of my biggest, craziest, most howling-mad lunatic fanatics. (The bolding is mine.)
Man, these people will do anything. Some really devious minds. Overthrow the head of your own party. One minute you are making excuses for him and the next minute you are stabbing him in the back.
Welcome to DC, I guess.
I responded as follows:
Yes. It’s all about Tribal Team Loyalty and Power, Power, Power. They spontaneously elevate total muppets (Biden then Harris) to world savior status. They replace these muppets like disposable gloves. The “narrative” edits have never been faster, or more shameless. Yesterday’s conspiracy theory / “misinformation” is today’s “It was always obvious that…” They will reprogram the Matrix **DAILY** if they have to. It’s best to get out of the way, check out mentally, and prepare your own house, as this baby is coming apart. When you see even the Democrats (the Party of Power, the Party of the Cities and Institutions) going off the rails internally, you know it can’t continue like this for very long. As I’ve been saying, the Federal broad political-administrative system, the entire machine, has cracked. It cannot return to (pre-2020) stability in its current form, and will NOT be able to handle another 2001, 2008-9, or 2020, let alone, ANYTHING WORSE. Trump or no Trump. As much as we’d love to see the “libs” suffer another heart attack, as I’ve written, it’s objectively best if Trump is not in the picture when it comes down. In that case, the “red” crowd (in their own counties and states, whoever is left) can start over, without skipping a political beat, without having to wait and watch “their guy” try and flail and fail as in 2020.
Folks, there is a time and place for everything. A time to “get involved”… and a time to tune it all out, and focus intensely on your own financial and physical health, and that of your household, and to develop/pursue a realistic “relocation plan” to a quieter and more sustainable area, if you don’t live in one already. Today, it’s time for the latter. The time to “get involved” is over. I recommend reading the Tao Te Ching.

Agreed that we’ve entered the “Somehow I told you so just doesn’t cut it.” stage of the system. At this point the whole thing is so interconnected that any pain one group feels will also be inflicted on the other ones on the way down.
Right on the mark, living god. Maybe we should take a Drezin challenge? Betting things will get a lot worse before this long round is over.
Thanks you for expanding on this from the live feed. Me thinks this is some golden advice here.
“When you see even the Democrats (the Party of Power, the Party of the Cities and Institutions) going off the rails internally, you know it can’t continue like this for very long. ”
Yes, getting a bit spooky out there. The decline seems to be accelerating
It does seem like the pace of decline is accelerating, especially since the debate and ensuing internal turmoil of the Democrat Party. Oh and the attempted assassination of Trump. Should Russia continue to gain ground in Ukraine, it’s going to get harder to cover that up, and I’d guess the US Empire’s rulers will become more unhinged. So I don’t see any reason to think the rate of decline is going to slow down.
1. I can’t help but mourn for our country. The events unfolding are shocking, especially seeing so many Americans oblivious to the government and media’s actions. These institutions can hardly conceal their chaos, and the world is watching.
2. As a Black woman, I don’t want Kamala to win. I don’t want a Black woman bearing the brunt when things go wrong. But too many Black women, and women in general, buy into this narrative, even though Kamala is barely Black.
I wish that Hillary Clinton would run with Gavin Newsome and the whole thing comes down on their watch. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect pair to bear the image of the collapse.
I thought that the Federal Government, Big MIC and Fortune 500 triumvirate might last until 2030. Then, in the past few months, I changed my prediction to 2028. I was wrong on both. Now, it looks like the whole thing might burn down before year’s end. Fortunately, at least in the USA, there are countless little towns scattered out in Flyover Country. Alot of them are decrepit, but they are hundreds and sometimes over a thousand miles from the centers of power. The cool part about the local illegal alien and Mennonite populations is that they barter and know how to run a cashless society. The illegals maintain tight connections with Latin America which is still firing relatively on all six cylinders. Those little towns look a lot like James Howard Kunstler’s “World Made by Hand” books. If you get involved in that world now, the collapse will be like falling out of a first story window.
Because of my advance age I am sort of trapped so I am not mobile. What makes me sad is the young people and what future awaits them.
Probably a simple, slow-paced future that resembles the distant past. The whole debt racket will hopefully collapse. They won’t likely have to pay the odious student loans or their great-grandparents’ debt, but they will live in a world where credit is impossible to obtain. If they want financial capital, they will have to earn it the hard, old-fashioned way. I also imagine that the median life expectancy will drop dramatically.
Well said, Jacob! Not that I’m invested in either party, but I agree it would be best if the Dems are holding the bag when the wheels come completely off.
Thank You!
It is easy to disengage when you come to realize the Rs are just as bad is the Ds in many respects.
Exactly. It is inconceivable to me that there are 10s of millions of people in the US who still think there is a vast amount of difference between the 2 major political parties in the US Empire. Outside of culture war BS, the 2 parties pretty much agree on plutocracy, authoritarianism (you can’t question us!), and WAR!WAR!WAR! I came across this article in the Washington Post (ok, maybe not the best source but every now and then I think they actually write about reality) https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/interactive/2024/us-sanction-countries-work/, and thought this passage pretty much summed up the foreign policy approach of the 2 supposedly different parties: “Meanwhile, sanctions that Biden had said he would ease, such as those imposed by Trump on Cuba, were largely maintained under pressure from Capitol Hill, despite the view among top administration officials that the embargo is counterproductive and a failure.”
I might further recommend Stephen Mitchell’s translation of the Tao te Ching
I just ordered that translation last night! Good thing I got a good one 🙂
One thing I would suggest is to take care of maintenance things on yourself and your house that you can do right now, because the future is uncertain. If it’s time for a colonoscopy, get it done. If your water heater is getting old, replace it. It could be something as mundane as if you always wanted to see Paris, do it sooner rather than later.
Yes!!!
Thank you to this confirmation Jacob. I feel like I’m standing on the edge of a massive whirlpool and everyone I know is just stepping into the current only to be dragged under. My instinct is to step back and disengage. This isn’t a new thing, just the tempo towards climax is increasing drastically. The key to getting through this is to not play the game. Engaging is tantamount to committing self harm and therefore insane.
House in order – check
Safe location with opportunity of self sustenance – check
Powder stocked and dry – check
This is going to be fucking glorious, what a time to be alive!

Tao Te Ching! In 2018, I was in Wuhan for 4 months learning Chuan-style Tai Chi. I discovered the 7 secrets of tai chi and of course, the tai chi mind which is what the Tao Te Ching is pointing to!
I never asked this. Do you have any book recommendations (2 or 3) to help people think better? Or books are useless?
Cheers.
See: media archives (premium content) 2023-10-19 “A guide to thinking like Dreizin” (pdf). At the end of the document you will find a short list of recommended books.
Thanks!
“A time to “get involved”… and a time to tune it all out, ”
Amen
This reminds me of what created all the energy behind Brexit. The realisation that an amorphous grouping of powerful institutions and corrupt politicians had arranged to wrest full control of the levers of power and decision making, tricked poor working class left-leaning ignoramuses into supporting them, and were in the final stages of organising things so that there would be no way back. The open blatant lies of the US (and global western) media on what they have and haven’t said regarding Harris’ role in border protection, the way they’ve not covered the removal of Biden, but above all the way they have been so brazen and confident about all of it, makes it feel like they are also in the final stages of locking things down, like the US has become so disfunctional and despotic that the power brokers can do and get away with whatever they like.
If Trump had been killed it could have led to catastrophe, I think, and perhaps a lot of people are finally tuned in now?
Where’s the info on the Big Ukrainian attack planned in Russia that prompted Moscow to call the Pentagon
Great work as usual! I particularly liked the “the time to get involved is over” part.
Another question that may be stupid for many: if the system is about to collapse, does it still have the possibility to turn the whole thing around with a big war (Europe, ME, Asia), and its tool NATO, or is that no longer possible?
