(PINNED POST) March 4, 2025: Prophecy No. 15 — Fighting against economic failure, Trump will, not tomorrow but eventually, fire/reassign whichever Government econometricians insist on “antiquated methodologies” and DARE to publish bad numbers. Yes, we will eventually have fake stats. The current analytical approach of “ADP said this and the ISM report said that, but let’s wait for the Govt numbers”… will migrate towards “ADP said this and the ISM report said that”, period. Trump’s Peanut Gallery (at least, the ones who still have jobs) will say it’s for the best, as those baddies were undermining his presidency with their resistance. ALSO, Trump will not only start a huge beef with the Federal Reserve (as per Prophecy No. 3, from December 29th, 2024), he is also likely to try to take control of it… although that depends on how the ongoing OSC/MSPB cases do at the Supreme Court. (That is, can the President fire chiefs and board members of quasi-executive, quasi-independent organizations without cause, when statute says that it must be for cause? Although, let’s be real, he can invent some cause… and then it would go to the Supreme Court again. On this, I am cautiously optimistic, as even some conservatives on the Court surely understand that in a Dictatorship, the courts don’t matter, and no one needs them.)
